Easily the best humidifier I've ever owned! Super easy to get going, and even setting up the smartphone app integration was a piece of cake. Being able to set a schedule was a game changer and tickled my smart home addiction in just the right ways. There are also multiple ways of refilling the unit, including filling from the top so you don't have to mess with any caps or screws. One word of caution when periodically cleaning the unit, be careful not to allow water down the little periscope-looking channel. It has a spring-loaded cuff to try and prevent this, however if you are a bit over-diligent in your cleaning, you might accidentally get water down there. That's where air is blown through the unit, and getting water down there might destroy the internal fan. Fortunately, Levoit support was incredibly friendly and responsive. They gave me several troubleshooting steps to try and ultimately replaced the broken units (yes, I did this to more than one in the same day, RIP). I would whole-heartedly recommend these to everyone I know, and I'll be looking at other Levoit products in the future.

I'm writing this two weeks after purchasing my first of two of these new humidifiers from Levoit (I was so pleased with the first unit that I quickly ordered another during the Prime Day promotion). So far, so good. EDIT: Please note that this review ONLY pertains to the new, 10L model (the tall, skinny model). Some of the other reviews on here make mention of features (or lack thereof) for a different size model, since they are all grouped together on this one product page. I have been super impressed as they have a significant tank capacity while maintaining a relatively small footprint on your floor wherever you position them — about the same as much shorter humidifier units that they have replaced in my apartment. After having a wish list for years in what I was looking for, in the perfect apartment humidifier, this checks nearly every box. As mentioned, the 10 liter water tank capacity is massive, so there is far less frequent of a need for refilling. There's also a clever 360 degree rotating spout on the top, where the mist is projected out and into your room. This is great if you want to position the unit in the most aesthetically pleasing way within your space, but actually need the mist angled towards another, particular direction. The app connectivity is what I would say completely puts these into another tier versus other humidifiers I have owned over the years (of which there are many). In the app you can set up all sorts of automated routines as well as my most-preferred Auto setting. With this, the machine will intelligently turn the mist on and off, in addition to being able to throttle the amount of mist being projected, in order to maintain a target humidity percentage within your space. This can be set as high as 80% relative humidity, which is a lot higher than other auto settings I have seen on other humidifiers. If an auto setting would only allow for 60%, for instance, that wouldn't be high enough for my needs. This is actually why I feel like the unit is best suited for people maintaining a lot of plants (or simply requiring consistently HIGH humidity). Since you can set the auto setting as high as 80%, you can easily and effectively create an ideal environment if you're a big tropical plant enthusiast, as I happen to be. Furthermore, because of being able to use the app to control and monitor your humidity levels, it makes for an excellent solution for people who travel and need to maintain proper levels for their plants. I can't even begin to explain my past stress over what will happen to my plants if I had a week-long trip for work or leisure, when I knew that the humidity levels in my apartment would drop like a stone within a matter of two to maybe three days. With these units you can monitor and hold a decent level of humidity far longer than with anything else I have ever seen or tried. This peace of mind is really valuable to me. There is also Alexa support for voice commands, which is a nice plus. Again, this just checks off so many boxes that I wasn't sure I was ever going to find in one singular humidifier. The process to clean the unit seems easy enough, which thankfully I won't have to do quite as often as suggested. I only use water that has been purified from ZeroWater filters/pitchers (that remove all TDS/total dissolved solids from your tap water). Highly recommend going this route too — you will need to clean your unit a lot more often if you are using tap water! My only complaint is that I wish that the AC power cord was removable from the unit, so that you could more easily take the water tank and clean it without needing to worry about the cord as an electrical component. Plus, then you could take the unit and clean it more easily in, say, your bathtub. This is the only thing that I can possibly think of that the humidifier doesn't satisfy. So, it still deserves a five star rating for my needs.

We just finished our 3rd year of using this and it is by far the best humidifier we have ever purchased. In fact, we purchased another one that same year for our sons room and then last year a smaller Levoit for our daughters room (much smaller space). Please note that due to heavy minerals in our well water we have always used these using only distilled water. This year we changed to using RO water because we had a unit installed in our home last year and now we don’t have to purchase Distilled water. In my experience all humidifiers will output white dust unless we use mineral free water. Both the distilled and our now home installed drinking water system makes this unit run flawlessly with very little need for cleaning during the winter months. We love the WiFi capacity with these units as it is convenient for our family. We set each unit up with programs to come on 2 hrs before bedtime and stop running 30 minutes before typical wake up times. We can set the desired humidity levels and forget about it. I mentioned that with using distilled or RO water these stay super clean thought out the winter but the great thing is that when you do need to clean these, it is very easy compared to all other units we have ever had (and we’ve had many with varying brands). Just about everything comes off for ease of cleaning. We do not use the little port for essential oils so I cannot comment on that aspect of the units. So far these seem like they will be holding up much better than other brands so although they are a bit more $ I feel like we are getting a good value based on what durability is thus far.

We really like how quiet and effective this unit is. The only thing we didn't like about it was cleaning it so often. We didn't believe the instructions, which say to clean it every three days, so we waited almost a month to clean it. The inside looked like a bunch of pond scum. We have a whole-house water filter, and it still seemed to get grungy. Next season, we will follow the directions; cleaning is much easier! In summary, we would buy this unit again.

I totally love this humidifier. It's very quiet and doesn't disrupt my sleep at all, and I can fill it from the top with a pitcher rather than trying to carry a very heavy container. That it's programmable puts it over the top for me, I can see the percentage of humidity in the room, and program it to make sure I'm getting the ideal humidity for me. I can change between hot and cold, depending on the weather and whether I'm sick or not. And it's very easy to clean, all the pieces come apart, and I can really clean all aspects of it. My last one had areas I couldn't get at. Highly recommended, it's worth it.

Appareil conforme à mes attentes ; extrêmement silencieux (j'ai le sommeil léger pourtant), intuitif, pratique grâce à l'application qui permet de gérer l'appareil où que l'on soit depuis son téléphone ! Je ne regrette pas du tout mon achat. Il vous donne le taux d'humidité actuel ainsi qu'une courbe de ce taux au cours de la journée, hyper pratique. De plus, un réservoir externe permet aussi l'utilisation d'huiles essentielles ! Le prix vaut vraiment le coup selon moi :)

Comprato per umidificare delle piante da interno svolge pienamente la sua funzione: serbatoio molto capiente, app intuitiva e comoda per gestirlo, semplice l'allineamento alla rete. Crea un livello di umidità perfetto per le mie piante che apprezzano il microclima creato dal Levoit. Preso ad un buon prezzo, semplice la manutenzione, ottimo il funzionamento, la sua gestione e la possibilità di settarlo (nebbia calda e fredda). Davvero consigliatissimo.
