This monitor is beast and I stole it for 750$. If this was full price though at 1300$ there's better options but this is def a premium monitor. Reminder this is OLED technology so text clarity is not a strong suit due to the technology so that in no way shape or form knocks off any stars from this 5 star product. It's excellent for gaming! Super responsive, high refresh rate, solid build quality. It does have a matte coating but it's really not even remotely close to as bad as people say. Picture quality is still bright, vibrant and crystal clear. One thing to note is normal ultrawides are normally 1800r curve and at this curve being slight makes it wide and immersive. Now this one with 800r curve bends it so aggressively that it honestly takes away from the immersion as the sides of the monitor are brought closer together to make the harder curve but this is not bad at all. You can see the whole monitor better with peripherals making it easier to use for fps games. I was torn between this and immersion but then I decided to return this just cause I came to the conclusion I rather have immersion from 1800r curve so I then picked up the g85sb from Samsung but his LG is so dope and it looks so good! When or if I become a little more competitive I might get this again. Somehow to me I think this 800r curve makes it easier to aim on mouse and keyboard. I feel like seeing the whole monitor easier and the curve fits the eyes natural curve. Might be placebo but it works for me. If your on the fence I'd buy it. Return it if you want to try something else but keep in mind the refund process is 30 days so if your offered payments from Amazon this process would be more appealing as you are not putting the full price down.

I had been avoiding OLED monitors for a while. Though burn-in has been a concern, it's pretty well minimized to the point of being a non-issue. Price was also a major factor. So I just stuck to LCD. Coming across this monitor at a reasonable price and with specifications I felt were quite good, I finally broke down and gave it a shot knowing I could return it if it just didn't work for me. Needless to say, I'm extremely pleased with it. Just the overall brightness levels and color reproduction alone make it better than even the higher priced LCD monitors I've used before. But what is most striking is the black actually being black, even when the next pixel over is bright white. I'm sure this isn't news to most people, but having true black levels instead of the typical gray you get from backlight bleed really makes for an entirety different experience. The image quality is just light-years ahead of any of my previous monitors. If there's any downside to it, it's the fact it is a bit more power hungry. And I might have preferred a couple more USB ports with its built in hub. But those are pretty minor. The stand seems plenty sturdy, but I can't give any real feedback on that as I use a multi monitor fixed stand. This thing has been an absolute game changer for me in regards to my gaming and general use of the computer. Again, this is likely old news to most people. I had just been holding back on making the jump for a good while. But now, I can't see going back. The OSD menu is easy to use and has plenty of options to tailor the image to your liking. Just a great monitor overall that isn't insanely priced.

Great option at an increasingly better price. At 3440 * 1440 it's unlikely you'll fully saturate this at 240 Hz for a long while. I'm not counting any AI trickery in GPUs, that doesn't count. This hits the framerates, has great color, and the 45 in screen makes anyone feel small in front of it. I play Star Citizen (and very rarely crack 90 Hz as a result) and the 'verse has never looked better. In FPS titles, it performs great and I can not detect any smearing, ghosting, or trails. My only critique would be that it does feel somewhat fragile with how thin it is. But if you're looking at this monitor, you don't have kids running around the space.

The reason for this 1 star is the frustration this OLED monitor caused me yesterday. I bought this LG 34-inch Ultragear OLED Curved Gaming Monitor for my daughter's birthday. She has an Acer Nitro 5 laptop with Windows 11. It has a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU with one HDMI port. She was using another LG 27 UltraGear Gaming Monitor with this Acer laptop. It was working fine! But she was able to convince me she needed an OLED one : ) My problem is this new LG OLED monitor does NOT work with her Acer Nitro 5 laptop. It has been a puzzle for me why it doesn't work. Believe me, I have tried everything I could think of. Here are the facts: 1- This new LG OLED monitor (same HDMI cable) works with another Acer laptop but with Win 10 and older NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti video card 2- This new LG OLED monitor (same HDMI cable) works with a third Acer laptop with Win 11 and integrated graphics card (Intel) 3- As I said earlier my daughter's Nitro 5 works with a LG 27 monitor (non OLED) using the same HDMI cable that comes with LG 34 OLED 4- I have reinstalled Win 11 in the Nitro 5 and the same thing: LG 27 works but new LG 34 OLED does NOT work. By work I mean Win 11 would not even recognize the monitor is connected through HDMI cable 5- I have updated NVIDIA driver to latest version and still no luck What puzzles me is both devices are working in my opinion (Nitro 5 and LG 34) but they do not play well together. I even connected the Nitro 5 laptop with our TV and it works as soon as I plug the HDMI cable. And this LG 34 monitor also easily works with other laptops w/o any extra step. Just plug and play! I have contacted LG customer support and they responded to me right away, but they were also not able to help me with this problem. Still not sure if I will return or not because my daughter loved the white color of this monitor.

Purchased this monitor on sale at about $1600. It's size is impressive to say the least. Even in comparison to my neo G9, this is easily the most beautiful monitor I've ever owned. If you can find this unit as an open box or on sale, it is a must have if you're shopping in this price range. Pros: -Massive size. This monitor is crazy immersive. To say that it pulls you into whatever game you're playing, or movie you're watching is an understatement. At recommended viewing distance, it fills most of your vision and along with the lifelike color accuracy in HDR, it can make you forget that you're looking at monitor. -HDR. While the monitor is certified for "VESA DisplayHDR 400" It can punch much higher. Small on screen highlights can reach in and around 1000 nits peak brightness and you can most certainly feel it. Even playing a game as simple as stock Minecraft can leverage these insane contrast ratios, like outside light peaking into a cave. When paired with games that are well mastered in HDR, like cyberpunk. It provides an experience nothing short of cinematic and makes every scene a joy. -Response times. Expect a buttery smooth experience especially on higher end computers. The "Grey to Grey" response times make for a monitor that becomes nearly imperceptible. I had a moment when playing "Warhammer 40K: Space Marines 2" where I was tracking enemies through the sky with my camera completely stationary. Each enemy was completely crystal clear as they flew by me. No ghosting or overshoot. Even amongst other OLEDs, LGs modern panel still measure near the top of the stack in terms of response time accuracy and this monitor flexes that point every moment it gets. Cons: -Most of the pros are still applicable to a lot of LGs product stack as well as others. What this monitor offers is exactly what other premier OLED gaming monitors offer, just bigger. Bigger price, bigger screen. That being said, if image quality is all you care about, then this screen offers essentially nothing over its smaller screen brothers. -Pixel density. At this gigantic size while still clocking in at a 1440p resolution, the "pixels per inch" is relatively low sitting at 82ppi. This would make it relative to a 27" 1080p monitor. While I personally have no grievance with this, you may actually want the smaller version of this monitor to compensate for the lower pixel density. That being said, this monitor feels deceptively sharp. Not to parrot what other reviewers have said about this monitor, but it certainly does not feel like a 1440p panel. Once in game, everything looks sharp and wears that low ppi much better than I thought it would. I cannot speak to everyone's experience however and this should be noted for a panel this expensive. All in all, this is one of those monitors that I would urge you to see in person if you're shopping in this price bracket. Taken everything into account, this monitor is gonna be my endgame until it dies, then I will hopefully replace it with another iteration of LGs 45" monitor. I love this form factor, I love the image quality, I love this monitor. For me, it is practically everything I could ask at the price I paid.

This monitor is perfect the size is just right, and the build quality is excellent. Setup was easy. As for the display itself, I’ve never used a QD-OLED before, but this WOLED panel is fantastic. I have zero complaints. The colors are vibrant, and the brightness is much better than I expected. I mainly play in a dark room, the monitor nearly blinded me on HDR lol, but even in a well lit room, It's still bright. Funny story when I first turned it on, I thought it wasn’t working. I was sure it was plugged in why isn't it turning on!! until I realized my desktop wallpaper was a black screen.. I only noticed it when I saw the mouse cursor moving on the screen. at that moment I realized that I couldn't be happier with this monitor! on a side note tho, get a monitor stand or something if u are planning to use other monitors with it, 800R Curve is crazy so it'll cover the other monitors if they were all close

Nothing beats an OLED panel and when it comes to OLED panels no one beats LG. You can’t go wrong with this. I wish the resolution was higher but 1440p is enough and the curve makes it so you really cant notice the pixels even when you’re sitting up-close. The curve is also just right at the sweet spot i had an odyssey g9 before this and i felt like it was too much, very well worth the upgrade!
