Love these little magnet hooks! I have a planned cruise that I wanted to get them for to hang stuff up on the cabin walls and be more organized. They are very small but seem to be powerful. I tried them out with things on them and they hold quite a bit! I am excited to try them on my upcoming trip but I think I could easily find multiple uses for them. I would buy these again. They are very easy to use, study and have a nice size hook on them. They come apart and pack well (take up about the size of a deck of cards for space in a suitcase).

Pro: They come in different colors, this box of 12 was white and the hooks were already assembled and ready to use. I used them to hang oven gloves on my over the stove kitchen fan, one on each hook. Hang up a fabric shower curtain with metal rings to provide privacy on a pantry garage storage unit, a fly swatter, anything that is magnetic really. They hold up wreaths, decorations, light strings, attach screens to lockable security doors that are decorative but do nothing to keep flies out. A great size and quite useful. Con: All 12 came in a single box with no separation in between them so they are stuck together every which way. Not easy to pull them apart, but I still would purchase them because I'm a great grandmother and rent a small apartment that doesn't want you to use nails. I like them

My house has steel siding. When my daughter moved in with her Husky, I needed a way to keep the yard leash handy by the door (no fence) but didn't want to damage the siding. One of these worked perfect!! Right outside the door at a handy height, it makes it easy to hang the lead hook where it's simple to grab (and it stayed out of the snow!, lol!). The others will come I handy in other places, too!

Bought in preparation for a cruise. They came unassembled, so it was easier to pack and carry as they fit into a small box. Those were very useful to hang items on the lighter side. We used this hooks for things like hats, lanyards, light crossbody purse, empty tote bag, goggles, sunglasses, etc. I am a little skeptical about the 30 lbs it claims it can hold as I tried to hang a backpack that was not so heavy but the hook just could not do it. I don't know for sure as I did not have a scale to weight the backpack, but I feel like it was lighter than 30 lbs. It does not really work for clothing items like jackets or cardigans either; they are definitely lighter than 30 lbs each. The magnet would slide down or just fall over.

Works so well I’m scared to pull it off! NOT ALL METALS ARE MAGNETIC. Other reviews saying these are not magnetic enough probably aren’t sticking it to the right type of metal. If you put these on steel (like the weight testing references) it holds as stated in the description.

Important Notes: If you hang something too heavy on this hook, it will slide down the wall. The hook is designed to hold a load of 40lbs, but that weight is being pulled straight down from the ceiling, not against the wall. This behavior is due to the physics of friction. When mounted on a wall, the friction isn't strong enough to keep a 40lb item in place, so it will gradually slide down. However, the magnet will remain attached to the wall—it won’t fall off. If you're hanging something heavier and the magnet can stick to the ceiling, it provides excellent holding power. I successfully hung a full leather toiletry bag and a backpack using this setup. Advice - Buy more magnets than you think you need. If your ship has magnetic walls, you will literally find new things to hang from them like USB charge cords, necklaces, your ship pass lanyard, clothing, hats, etc. There isn't a ton of space for items and it kept feeling like every flat surface was a pile of stuff. I advise you grab some 80lb magnets and some with a "Swivel" hook (search this: LOVIMAG Magnetic Hooks for Cruise Cabins, 60Lbs Swivel Magnetic Hooks Heavy Duty) because the swivel hooks were good for hanging up light privacy curtains to divide some spaces. If you used a hook that doesn't swivel for a curtain, they can pop off the ceiling or slide which was annoying. Having magnets helped me organize a lot of things. Also if you have a magnetic door, you can hang up a sign outside the door (remove the screw in hooks so they can't be easily peeled off or catch someone walking down the hall) because having a sign on the door made it easy to find our room.

I brought these on a cruise to hang an extra mesh organizer for toiletries, and to hang jackets I wouldn't need until after the cruise and were a bit bulky in the small cabinets on board. These hooks are seriously heavy duty and insanely useful. They were very easy to use. When traveling, I left them in the plastic case they came in, where they're attached to a magnetic strip with the hooks separate. I had no trouble going through TSA at multiple large airports. On board the ship I just quickly screwed a few of the hooks in and they attached to almost every surface I tested them on. I used hooks on the ceiling for jackets/coats, and hooks in the bathroom for my mesh organizer. Not only did nothing I hung slip or move at all during the week long cruise, it actually took a little effort to pull the hooks free at the end. The ceiling hooks were easy, but the hooks on wall surfaces were actually easier to slide along the wall until I reached a bend where they could be slid off haha. They do pull off normally too with some strength but I was very surprised how well these things hold in place. I really didn't need the 80 lbs version... 30-40 lbs would have done just as well. On Royal Caribbean ships, these attach to all of the doors, normal walls, and ceilings in staterooms and connecting bathroom. The only things they didn't attach to were furniture, and a few of the fancy lighting strips and decorative/textured wall bits on Icon of the Seas, but it's pretty obvious that they wouldn't, I just wanted to test everything.

Insanely strong .. I can hang off of 2. And do intense pull ups without the magnets coming off.. if you get them near ANYTHING metal, it will GRAB it. Great for when you lose something magnetic in the yard. Or need a "stud finder".. because it grabs screws in the drywall. These are a great multi tool magnet🧲. Good for mining iron in your yard also 😂.
