I’ve been using La Roche-Posay’s Cicaplast Baume B5 for a few weeks now, and it’s been a game-changer for my sensitive, dry skin. The balm has a rich texture that absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue, making it perfect for daily use. I’ve noticed a significant improvement in hydration and a reduction in redness and irritation.  What I love most is its versatility. I’ve used it on dry patches, minor cuts, and even as a soothing layer after using retinoids. It’s fragrance-free and non-comedogenic, so it doesn’t clog my pores or cause breakouts. The inclusion of ingredients like Panthenol (Vitamin B5) and Madecassoside helps in calming and repairing the skin effectively.  

Heals skin overnight. Someone on TikTok said use it when you need a “quick overnight glow up” and they weren’t lying. Nourishing is the best word to describe it. Like my skin got everything it needs. Kind of like an overnight hair mask for skin. Comes out white like zinc and mostly rubs out but I don’t use during day time. Good texture. Neutral smell. Not sticky. Very moisturizing. Be aware container is small but you don’t need a lot.

Overall, I really like using this balm, but I think it’s important to know how to use it. I only use this once a week, maybe twice during winter, as it is incredibly thick. However, it’s great to use after I go in with a retinol, as it helps me quickly restore my skin barrier back to normal. I also like it for drier winter months when my skin needs some additional hydration. I would strongly discourage from daily use though.

Extremely soothing and smooth cream based lotion with a pleasant scent. I purchased it for itchy, dry, and damaged skin around my eyes/eyelids and it has been working wonders. The relief is immediate and it does not sting or burn. A little goes a long way which is a relief because the product is on the smaller side. I think the price point is a bit steep, but the relief and effects make it well worth the price. Highly recommend!

Miracle product. it’s like a medicated cream that heals and soothes. A must if you are on retinol. I slather it on at night and am hydrated and less red in the AM.

This product is such a savior for skin. It is a thick, rich, very moisturizing balm. I use this when my skin is feeling extra dry or sensitive. I put it on at night and when I wake up on the morning my skin is calm and dewy. It has no scent so I believe it would be great for others with sensitive skin.

My skin is extra dry and I love the feeling that this balm gives me. I noticed that the regular b5 balm seems to have a different formulation compared to the one that is called “soothing therapeutic” and so I have specifically bought this one because I love the texture. I like going to bed with the thick layer on top of all my serums and retinol.

Perfect for winters. Leaves a slight white cast but it's ok for night time skin care routine. I love it. It's my Perosnal favorite
