It's heavy. The description said it was all metal, but g.d! I kinda expected aluminum to be a bit lighter. You definitely don't want this if you're counting grams, it probably weighs more than your precious carbon fiber bike. I do wish the articulating arm was a little shorter. I feel like it's going to get snagged on a power line or something. You probably want to check with the FAA if you're going to be riding near any airports. This seems like one of those items that is designed to have multiple uses in order to avoid legal trouble. What i mean is it's designed to hold your phone so that you don't get nicked for carrying a weapon. "No officer, that's not a bludgeoning device, it's a phone holder!". In all seriousness, it works well. Most importantly it's quick and easy to use. I had been using one of those silicone stretchy phone holders. It was cumbersome to try to get my phone in and out. It leaves the screen pretty well unobstructed for using your favorite mapping app or ride tracking app. However because of the thickness of the clamp, the edges of the screen can be difficult to touch if you're trying to tap your screen. If you're using it on a motorcycle, it would probably have been nice if it had wireless charging built in. On a bicycle it probably doesn't matter unless you have a dynamo hub or something.

My phone fit very securely in the mount. Mountain bikes, or bicycles in general, produce more vibration than a motorcycle does at the handlebars. Motorcycles generally have better suspension systems. This mount is up to the rigours of any bicycle. It is made almost entirely of metal; no cheap plastic ball joints on this mount. It features an easy-close mechanism that works by just moving the lever to the closed position, as shown in the short video I posted. I couldn't be happier with this product. Once adjusted for your phone, it will simply slide into the mount without requiring wrestling with the springs of other style mounts, and close securely around your phone, keeping it in place even over rough roads. It is adjustable enough to fit any conceivable modern mobile phone with its case on. Once the phone is clamped in, the vibration is well damped, making the phone easier to read and use while riding. I am thoroughly impressed with this phone holder. It installed easily on my bike's handlebar, and holds my phone rock-solid. It is made of rugged, heavy aluminum and has fantastic adjustability. Installation was simple. It involved tightening two hex srewes with an included hex wrench. I liked that the wrench was long enough to get proper torque on the screws to keep it in place. Its build says quality, just from handling the product. It is heavy in the hand and features a smooth, tough, golden powder-coated finish. This outstanding product is offered at a price that makes it a good value. I highly recommend it.

This is a fantastic motorcycle phone mount. It's built entirely from high-quality metal (zinc alloy), and you can feel the strength and durability as soon as you handle it. I was especially impressed by the stability — the included vibration dampener works really well to minimize shaking, even at highway speeds. Everything about this design feels heavy-duty and meant to last. The flexibility is great too. The 720° rotation design and the metal extension arm with dual 1" ball heads give you a lot of freedom to position your phone exactly where you want it without blocking your camera — perfect for navigation or even recording rides. It fits my phone securely without any worries, and the locking mechanism on the back gives an extra layer of confidence that my phone won't slip. One small limitation to note: this mount is designed to work with its own ball and clamp system. If you were hoping to attach it to an existing ball mount, you might run into trouble. I wasn't able to fully separate the clamp from the ball without feeling like I might damage something. Not a deal-breaker at all, but something to keep in mind if you're planning a hybrid setup with other mounting systems. Overall, I absolutely love this mount. It's solid, secure, thoughtfully designed, and feels like it could easily last through years of hard use. Highly recommended if you're looking for a serious upgrade over the typical plastic mounts. Would be a 5 star if I could connect it to my existing ram ball mount which is right where I want it on the bike.

I use my cell phone mounted on my motorcycle handle bars in aid of using it for navigation, and for telephone calls when riding. Most of them I have tried do not have any built in vibration or shock absorbers. This one has a very serious shock and vibration system that works as advertised. Also most of them either have insecure or phone damaging clamping systems that must be over tightened in order to safely hold the phone in place. This one however has a simple clamping system that really works and holds the phone safely and securely. It has an easy to install bar clamp, and a simple, secure, ball and clamp system that provides for almost unlimited ways to position the phone. This one is the very best phone mounting system I have found. It is very well made of quality materials that has stood up to hard riding and foul NW weather conditions without ever failing or even showing any wear. I find it not only easy to use, but to be very attractive as a now permanent addition to my motorcycle. I certainly recommend this very useful phone mount, which is, considering its extreme quality and usefulness, a very good value.
