I've had this little computer for two days now. It arrived in good shape with only light signs of previous use. It was clean inside. All the promised components were in the box, including the power supply. The little WIFI dongle works fine (2.5 Ghz only). The keyboard and mouse are cheap, and it took a little while to figure out how they work (hint: look for a USB dongle inside the mouse). The best part, though, is the computer itself. I love the sturdy metal case. All the ports work. It is well built compared with some of the little low-cost "NUC" computers on the market now. After all, it was originally sold into the business market. On my unit, there was an HDMI port as well as two display ports. If I ever need to replace memory or the 500mb M.2 drive, they are easily accessible in the bottom of the unit. There seem to have been many variations of this unit — particularly the types of ports included and types of internal disks (M.2 vs. 2.5-inch SSD). Windows 10, a perfectly legal copy, configured just fine. I partitioned the disk and installed Ubuntu 20.10 on half of the disk. Dual boot works fine. I mostly run Ubuntu, but it's nice to have Windows 10. WIFI and the keyboard+mouse work fine under both Windows and Ubuntu. For anything other than gaming, the computer is plenty fast. I expect to get several years use out of this computer and eventually replace it with a later-generation refubished computer.

This refurbished unit represents a great value! The unit arrived well packaged and protected, with all necessary accessories (mouse, keyboard and power supply). The outside of the unit is in excellent condition, no scratches or scuffs visible, and the unit is quite clean. Also of note is that a genuine Lenovo power adapter is included, not a third-party unit, very cool. The machine booted up quickly and installed all updates as needed. All accesories functioned well, and I have had no problems with any of the included ports, and I have four of the available USB ports occupied. I use the machine primarily to run a security suite of cameras, and the unit works flawlessly for this purpose. Even with this software running, using other programs at the same time does not slow it down. I am very pleased with this unit.

Nice PC, but some quality issues from the refurbisher! There was a bunch of broken or loose components. If you get one of these, be sure to take off the cover and make sure the stuff inside is installed and secured properly BEFORE you even think about attaching the power cord! I found: - The WIFI antenna that attaches to the back was broken off and loose in the box. The end was still screwed onto the connector on the rear panel but the antenna par had broken off. I don't intend to use WIFI or Bluetooth but if I did I'd have to return it or buy a new antenna. - Inside, the metal try that the 2.5 inch drive (SSD in this case) mounts in was completely unattached and the entire metal tray and drive were just rattling around inside the case. Would probable have caused some bad shorts if I had plugged it in or turned it on without checking. And the screw that secures the tray is missing completely. Had to be missing when they refurbished it since it was not loose inside the case - just missing. And a minor issue, but one of the 4 little rubber pieces that screw to the drive and hold it in the metal tray was also missing. - Under where the drive tray mounts, one of the two RAM DIMMS was halfway out of its socket and t he retaining clip was bent out of shape. Probably would not have fared well if power was turned on without fixing it! Both these things were easy to fix since I discovered them before hooking up power to the box. A new screw to secure the disk drive metal tray to the post it rests on and bending the RAM clip back into place and properly installing the RAM. BUT THEY SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN AN ISSUE IN THE FIRST PLACE! Pros: - A nice little PC for the money. - The 16GB of RAM and 512GB SATA SSD are fine for a small system, Windows or Linux. - There is also an M.2 slot under the disk drive tray. Mounts to handle either 2260 or 2280 size cards. The M700 spec sheet shows it only comes with SATA M.2 cards so its not clear if this would handle an NVMe type M.2 card or only operates in SATA mode. But you can at lease add a second SATA style SSD if you want. - The WIFI is also a separate small M.2 module. The one in mine is an Intel, Dual band (2.4 and 5.0 GHz) module and also has Bluetooth. The installed Windows seemed to detect it just fine, though I don't plan to use WIFI for my uses. - The installed Windows is actually Windows 10 Pro, which is nice if you want windows. I plan to install Debian Linux instead. - There are plenty of USB 3.0 ports (six) and two display port connectors for video. Haven't tried it at any Hi-resolution, just an old 24 inch LCD monitor. - Besides WIFI, has a Gigabit Ethernet connector as well. - Comes with a usable keyboard and mouse (both wired USB). Cons: - The broken stuff mentioned above. - The pictures show it coming with a base to mount it vertically but there was none in the box I received. too bad, because the vertical mount would have been nice, but I can always 3D print something. - The internal speaker is a Joke. it's a tiny piezo device you can barely hear. Don't even think about using it even if just for basic windows sounds. - It does not come with any back-up media to reinstall windows if you need to. I guess in theory once its activated the Microsoft site should recognize it if you re-install from downloaded media from Microsoft, but I always feel safer with a set of media from the vendor. The Weird: - Even though the built in Wireless adapter supports Bluetooth, it came with a little Bluetooth USB dongle in the box. No idea what you'd need it for. Just for fun I plugged it into one of the USB 3.0 ports and when I looked in device manager Windows said it didn't recognize it. Like I said, weird. Summary: I'll probable buy another one for another project I have. The broken stuff was easily fixable as long as you catch it before you try to run it and the antenna which wasn't fixable is not an issue for me since I plan to use it on a wired network. Seems lake a nice little tiny PC for the price. Should work great for my purpose of running a couple copies of Klipper to control two 3D printers. Would probably provide a nice platform for someone who just wants a Windows PC to browse the internet and edit some files or something (it has word and excel and such, but they seem to only be some form of demo versions OEMs install - I didn't check them out since I don't intend to use it as a windows machine). Might be a good little machine for kids to use for homework and stuff. Haven't tried installing Debian Linux yet. I'll try to update this after I see how it goes. Just a quick update: I installed Debian Linux 12 (Bookworm) and it installed fine and seems to work great on this PC. Even recognized the WiFi interface and it came, though I can't comment on its operation since I am not using it.

If you need a decent computer that works for surfing, writing emails, and viewing YouTube videos then this is it. Windows 10 Pro is right out of the box. Just plug in and update the system. It comes with a standard keyboard and mouse, as well as a USB 2.4GHZ WIFI Adapter and BlueTooth 4.0 adapter, It gets 5 stars for the average user. For the power user 3.5-4 stars First of all, the 2.4 GHZ dongle is a standard and while it worked I lost my Internet connection multiple times, so I switched out for a Tenda USB dongle for an internet connection so much better. The Bluetooth dongle is not 5.0, the company does not have an updated driver. I had to reconfigure Windows 10 Pro by deleting unnecessary apps, uploaded all the proper Lenovo drivers and took a while to get the right graphics driver because this mini supports up to 3 monitors and the Windows 10 drivers kind of sucked but I updated the chipset firmware and installed the proper drivers. I would say buy it, go to the Lenovo support page download Lenovo System Update, and get all the proper drivers and the latest firmware and you will have a very good computer. I use it for software development and with some work, it runs multiple monitors and handles all the development software pretty well, I use Visual Studio, and Android Studio with Sublime Text and Photoshop, Krita, and Blender. I also have multiple external hardware so it seems to handle everything quite well. won't be a speed demon but it is pretty responsive so I am happy, just needs some elbow grease.
