Arrived safely in 2 days!! Love it - just like my previous Lenovo laptop - of course updated to 2025 - some major changes but adapted and got all reloaded........so far so good!! Do not care for Windows 11 - but will adapt to that as well. Slowly getting reacquainted with new laptop!

I bought this laptop in 2020 and it’s still working like new, it is able to do any work of an engineering student (CAD, Revit no issues) and also all popular games, 4 years later I run COD and FC25 smoothly and probably faster than any console. Low requirement games like rocket league are way faster compared to my friend’s PS5. Screen quality is very good for watching shows and movies. the difference with my desktop PC with a 3060ti does not feel like night and day. Only issue I had was that when installing windows 11 Armoury Crate features would not go along with windows 11, like the power settings, I switched back to windows 10 as I didn’t really like 11 . No issues.

This laptop came with 2- 256g drives so there is a c=256g and D=256g. Not 1 - 512g drive. Went to repartition to make one drive but can’t.

I bought this to replace my ancient w550s, which I adored. I mostly run solidworks and auto cad. It does handle those programs. I can’t express enough how much I dislike this laptop for two reasons. First, the keyboard and bottom half of the case feels CHEAP and poorly made. Beyond that, the touch pad is awful for cad work. Now I know other design engineers will laugh that I’m using a laptop for my work- I successfully used my old unit from the luxury of my couch while y’all are at a desk so there’s that. The touch pad is sticky and plastic feeling- tough to snap to nodes. My last laptop had the most silky smooth touch pad. If you can feel this laptop before cutting it I urge you to do that.

Picked this up as a business laptop, doing primarily software development. Hardware is great, handles everything I've thrown at it so far without slowing down or loud fans. Very powerful and responsive. Only complaint is the top surface is quite a fingerprint-magnet .. but that's only cosmetic. I would have liked a metal casing too rather than plastic. Highly recommend this for people needing a powerful laptop.
