My docking station was missing the USB-C cable. I contacted the seller and they responded to let me know that they had ordered it and it was on the way. I received it within a few days and everything works great.

I bought this USB type-C Dock about a month ago - and it has been working perfectly. no issues whatsoever. Installation was seamless, just plug it in and windows 10 Enterprise does the rest. After the dock is installed by Windows and the monitors are detected. All you have to do from that point is arrange the monitors in the order you want them in under Display Settings in Windows. My configuration is: a DELL Latitude 5480. 4 monitors: 2 HP LA 2205wg (display port), 2 Dell E2213Hb (DVI >> J5create [JUA350] DVI>>USB3.0). So, the two display port connections go into the display port interfaces, and the two DVI>>USB3.0 to their respective USB 3.0 ports on the Dock. Video has been smooth across all monitors being used. I don't play games or anything like that as this is a work machine, so i cannot comment there. One other nice feature is the USB-C connection does charge the laptop when used and of course when not being used Hope this helps,

It was listed as New but the packaging is not original Lenovo packaged. I was suspicious it was refurbished. There were "sticky" glue marks on the unit. There is something faulty with it. My keyboard plugged in did not work at all (works fine with laptop USB port). The 2 external monitors would not detect a signal sometimes and just power saves. The product is faulty. Submitted for replacement. Will be interesting to see how the replacement is. I got this as a secondary unit so I can work in 2 different locations. The one I have from Lenovo directly works perfect. This one was listed as half the price so I decided to give it a try. Won't be doing this again with electronics. Update: 5 months later, the replacement no longer works either.

I purchased this USB-C Dock/Port Replicator because I have a Thinkpad T470s and a T480s that both need to use the same work space. Since Lenovo redesigned the T480s so that it doesn't work with the older docks, I was hoping to find something that works with both. This port replicator solves this issue perfectly. Both laptops charge and all ports work using the single USB-C plug. There were no issues with setup, and both Thinkpads connected and worked without skipping a beat. The replicator itself is quite compact and leaves a cleaner looking work space than the older snap-in Dock. It's likely more expensive than other options, but so far, it's a great replacement/solution.

Love this because of all the ports available

Just got a T480s, needed to replace my old OneLink+ dock. This seemed like the right thing. After I ordered it I realized it was USB-C only, not Thunderbolt 3. Plugging it all in, everything works fine under Debian Sid Linux (kernel 4.15.0). All ports seem to light up and do the right things, including the network interface. The only hiccup is that I'm unable to drive my 3840x2160 (4k / hidpi) monitor at 60Hz through the DisplayPort on the dock. Digging into details elsewhere on the internet I can see others hitting a similar issue, and wished some of that was reflected in the listing. I have a seperate USB-C (not Thunderbolt 3) to DisplayPort cable made by Plugable that works fine when plugged in directly to the 2nd USB-C port on the T480s and can push 60Hz no problem. Plugging it into the spare USB-C port on the dock does nothing sadly.

The Lenovo ThinkPad USB-C UltraDock was actually better than described. I was not expecting a power source since many of the comments on the product said it does NOT power the laptop. HOWEVER, it does come with a power source and it does a great job powering my Lenovo X1 (Gen 6). The set up was simple and with a little tweaking of the display settings on the laptop, it works exactly like it should. I now have 3 monitors (laptop and 2 Dell monitors) with a single connection to the laptop from the dock. I have the dock and the power supply sitting on my desk behind the laptop and with some organization of the cables, it looks pretty organized for having several cords (9 for me) plugged into it. Great product.

There are numerous signs that point to this dock being a used refurbished unit and not new. This is not Lenovo packaging (see picture uploaded), I have purchased numerous Lenovo docks and have never received a new dock packaged like this. The USB C cable included is clearly not a Lenovo cable in fact it has no brand anywhere on it that I can find. I have never received a new Lenovo dock that has an adapter like this on the power supply (see picture uploaded) and believe Lenovo would be ashamed to send such a power supply with a new dock. If these are not obvious enough signs that this is not a new unit there are marks on the bottom of the dock and the power cord for the power supply has dust on the plug parts. All this being said the dock does seem to work and is about the price I would have paid for a used one elsewhere so I will likely keep it. I am however reaching out to Amazon to inform them that this should be listed as a used and or refurbished item. Everything in the listing seems to state that this is new which clearly it is not.

Great integration and transfer speeds with external usb 3 hard drives. I used a 1080p panel on my 15in MacBook pro 2018. The device also supports high refreshers panels that either have 4k resolution or 165hz refresh rates. Seemless plug and play device and monitors are recommended to use the display port plugs. P.s also supports android phones with an USB-C port so you can project your phone screen onto your monitor and navigate using your keyboard and mouse.

This dock works perfectly with my Lenovo Yoga 900s. I have it hooked up to two hp monitors, one with vga and another with DP to hdmi adapter. After trying out another 3rd party usb-c docking station that wouldn't display across my two monitors, I was a bit worried this one wouldn't work either. My worries were not warranted however--this works as a plug and play device with my Yoga. Would recommend to anyone looking to set up dual external monitors to their Lenovo ultrabook.

This is my second one of these. (first was purchased by my employer) 1st one lasted about 4 months then slowly started to degrade until it would not turn on. Second one, I did not hook up right away . had if for a few months (3 actually) and would not even power up. . Nothing, a brick. If you can, find alternatives , or be prepared to be disappointed.
