I picked up this router during my recent switch to a new internet provider, and it's been nothing short of fantastic. If you're someone with a plethora of IoT or smart devices at home or work, this router is a dream come true. The accompanying app is a standout feature. It provides an overview of all the devices on your network and even lets you boot off any unknown or unwanted guests. Plus, for those with Alexa devices, here's the kicker – you can use them as signal extenders, ensuring that your Wi-Fi reaches every nook and cranny of your space! Installation was a breeze. Just plug it into power and your modem, then follow the user-friendly steps in the app. Once it's all set up, it's a compact little box that you can easily tuck away. If you're looking for a reliable router with smart features and seamless performance, this one has my full recommendation. It's made managing my connected devices a breeze!

Had this for a year or so and no complaints. We used google mesh wifi previously and it was very spotty. Would cut out pretty frequently and no matter how many "nodes" we had around the house, the coverage was pretty dodgy. I didn't realize it when I bought this, but it allows many types of Alexa devices to become additional "nodes" in the system. So while I only bought three official units in this package, I had a few more based on the integration of the Alexa devices. They aren't quite as "powerful" or effective as full-blown units, but they do help extend the network. We probably get a glitch/outage about once a quarter with this system. And it only lasts a few minutes. And really, it could be a glitch with our fiber internet and the Eero isn't at fault. Will never know. Great value for the money and super easy to set up.

Just had fiber internet installed and it included an eero 6+. Signal was so week at the far end of the house, (less than 75' away) I would loose connection more often than not. I was hesitant of buying this refurbished device and had every intention of returning it if there was the slightest issue. After about a week of use, I'm definitely keeping it. The erro didn't come in original packaging, but looked to be in new condition, without scuffs, marks or scratches. The included USB cable/power supply also looked new. Package included quick start instructions. Actual configuration was a breeze with my eero app, and it easily paired with my system. I now have 2-unit mesh, fantastic signal throughout the house and do not loose my connection. A good purchase, but wish the base unit had enough signal that I didn't need to buy it.

We have a 1500 sq ft home on Cape Cod with SimpliSafe security and cameras, video doorbell, ets. The Xfinity-provided wifi modem wasn't giving us reliable coverage for the doorbell cam and another camera on the garage at the other side of the house. I purchased a Motorola DOCSIS cable modem and got rid of the Xfinity modem, then connected this refurb eero system. Super-easy setup. App tells you if you're placing the satellite mesh devices in a good location. One thing to note: eero runs a 2.4ghz network and a 5ghz network simultaneously, and names both of them the same. If you have 2.4ghz-only devices (like my older Kindle, the SimpliSafe system, or Amazon Echo devices), you will probably have to use the eero app to PAUSE the 5ghz network and let your devices connect to the 2.4ghz. I did that initially when connecting these more-selective devices, and they seem to reconnect fine on their own now, HOWEVER, I occasionally have to manually PAUSE the 5ghz network to let the SimpliSafe base station reconnect. It's a bit annoying but not a deal-breaker. Also, the eeros all have 2 Ethernet ports on the back, so there's only 1 port available at the main router. I purchased an inexpensive unmanaged Ethernet switch for my desktop so I can get multiple devices plugged in. Overall, very satisfied with the performance. Cable internet is asymmetric; on wifi or hardline, I get roughly identical up/down speeds, so no complaints, although despite paying for "gig speed" from Comcast, I'm averaging 550 down and 25 up. supposed to be "up to" a gig down and 30 up. Meh. Spoiled by my Sonic gigabit fiber to the house in CA, I guess. ;-)

I can’t even count how many computer-related devices I’ve gotten over the years that claim to be super simple to set up, then three hours later I’m still trying to figure out why the hell it’s not working….Eero IS NOT ANYTHING LIKE ANY OF THOSE! It really, truly is not only easy, but quick!! I had all three devices connected and running in less than 30 minutes, nowhere to lie! We have one device connected with the included LAN cable directly to our Xfinity gateway, which is on the 2nd/top floor of our house, and the other two wirelessly connected - just plug it in and the app does the rest! For the other two, you do one at a time, but without any cable - just plug each device into an outlet, follow the commands from the app, and move on. We have our second device on the 1st/main floor and the third in the finished basement. You need to know the square footage of your house prior you placing an order because that will determine how many devices you need. Ours is 2400 square feet, which is why we got the 3-device package. No more dead wifi areas anywhere - not just inside the house, but also on the porches and in the yard!! I threw the piece of garbage extender (that didn’t really work and constantly went offline) we needed for our Ring 4 doorbell right in the garbage, and we get full signal on our phones and laptop both on the porches and even in the yard! Just get them! They’re worth every penny, and when you buy Amazon certified refurbished, which have the same warranty as if you had bought them brand new, they’re even more affordable…and then I snagged them on Prime Day, as well! They’re amazing and you will not regret it!!
