After exploring various Wi-Fi systems, including the Linksys AXE8400 Atlas Max and the Nest WiFi Pro, I have found the EERO Pro 6E to be the best fit for my needs. In my 6500 sqft home, the EERO Pro 6E, with its three units, outshines its competitors in delivering reliable and expansive Wi-Fi coverage. The Nest WiFi Pro, while a decent option with a user-friendly app, had some inconsistencies in its performance. I experienced erratic behavior with certain devices showing strong connectivity one moment and then struggling to load websites the next. Similarly, streaming services like Netflix would fluctuate between high-quality 4K and lower resolutions without warning. In contrast, the EERO Pro 6E’s performance is steady and reliable. Its technical specifications, though not as high as some of its competitors, are more than sufficient to provide stable and high-speed Wi-Fi coverage throughout my home. This consistent performance, especially with a 2gbps fiber internet connection, is a significant advantage over the Nest and Linksys systems. The intuitive and dependable EERO app is a notable feature, offering an easy and hassle-free way to manage the home network. This is in stark contrast to the Linksys system, which was plagued with an unresponsive app and lack of firmware updates. It’s also worth mentioning that Linksys, now under the ownership of Foxconn and no longer US-based, may not appeal to those looking for reliable and locally supported Wi-Fi solutions. In summary, the EERO Pro 6E excels in providing a stable, hassle-free Wi-Fi experience. Its reliability, range, and user-friendly app make it an excellent choice for anyone seeking a top-tier home Wi-Fi system. Despite the Nest app being good, the overall performance and consistency of the EERO Pro 6E are what set it apart, making it my top recommendation for a seamless home internet setup.

Very impressed with everything. Signal is stronger and reaches farther than other routers I’ve tried. Mesh works perfectly, seamless uninterrupted service everywhere you go. Compact sturdy design with no external antennae to fuss around. Fits almost anywhere you could imagine. My only complaint was that it comes with outdated software. You need to update it immediately before you can use it and the update took over 2 hours for all 3 units. I was not able to switch over my house to the new network while everyone was out because of this delay but now that it’s up and running everything is great.

Fully functional, well packaged (looked like oem packaging), no dings/scratches, looks like a new product, set up was simple using the Eero app. UPDATE: Added the "made for Amazon" wall mount because the heat was attracting my cat, and wall mounting the router resulted in MUCH better performance....better coverage throughout the house, higher speed!

Pretty good, does not reach as efficiently as expected, but is doing the job, with a slight drop in signal strength in near by rooms, I might buy a different one next time!

I am loving these devices more than is healthy and appropriate. For starters, my water, router and hub that was being leaked from the car on the price of the device on an Amazon PRIME shopping day. My annual lease would be over $144 (not including taxes and fees) for the year. I picked up these for less than $99 (refurbished). They not only will save me $$ before the year is out, they provide wired connection at High speeds, better wireless coverage that comes through at close to my 1gb speed everywhere in my home, and since I use Fiber, I could use one as the hub instead of buy more devices for that job too. THEN, it also does the Zigbee signal and can act as a Hub for those “smart things too”! Now, without getting too technical, the app is super user friendly. Allows for simple do Wi-Fi monitoring and sharing along with the additional flexibility to control what and where the Internet goes. I couldn’t be more pleased after several months of use. I am loving these devices.

Super happy with this purchase. I was one of those that thought I needed those gigantic routers with antennas as long as my forearms to get decent reception but boy doggies, was I wrong! Also, pleasantly surprised how well this was packaged, etc as I bought this item refurbished. No troubles at all with it being refurbished, worked flawlessly! I currently have gigabit (1gig) service so I was researching replacement router to replace my provider's router to eliminate they're monthly fee and found Eeros be some of the highest reviewed ones. Now I understand why, they are pretty awesome for they're price range!

Bought the units at the beginning of January and everything worked great. After owning the units for two months the first software/firmware update was download and installed. After the update the system would disconnect from the internet or limit the download/upload speeds to 10 Mbps. Resetting the network would get my speeds back to 1 Gbps for a few minutes. Spent about a month with eero customer support troubleshooting with nothing fixing the issue. After I was told by customer service that they would process a refund for the defective units I purchased an Orbi setup. While waiting for the Orbi to arrive, customer service kept having me do different things to troubleshoot the eero units. Once I received the Orbi units I removed the eero from the network and installed the Orbi units. I am having no issues with the Orbi units. I emailed eero customer support to let them know I was done with eero and to process the refund. They have know come back to let me know that when they told me they would process a refund for the defective units that that was mistake on their part and they are unable to process a refund because we are past the 30 day refund window. Steer clear and spend the extra money for a better setup.
