The image quality is beautiful, and they were surprisingly easy to set up, even for someone like me who isn’t super experienced with tech. A Quick Tip for Setup: When you take the back off to insert the batteries, remember to scan the QR code first before closing it back up and mounting the camera. I missed that step and had to take them down and reopen them—would have been nice if the instructions had emphasized that more clearly. That minor hiccup aside, the setup process was smooth. The app walked me through everything, and once I got past the QR code step, it was quick and painless to get the cameras up and running. Pros: ✅ Beautiful image quality – crisp and clear ✅ Easy setup – even for beginners ✅ Compact and discreet – blends in well ✅ Reliable performance so far Cons: ❌ Instructions could be clearer – especially about scanning the QR code before sealing the battery compartment Overall, I’d definitely recommend these cameras to anyone looking for an affordable, easy-to-use security system. Just got these in and mounted up. I put one in the front looking at the door/garage door, and one in the back of the house looking at the yard with the rear/kitchen door visible. Easy to setup. Two screws mount the bases they come with, and the swivel snaps to that, and the cam snaps to the swivel, making this a very simple, yet versatile mounting system. The picture quality is very good, and the live video function works great. I can say that there is about a 1 second lag on the video and sound, but that’ll change based on how good your internet and WiFi is. I didn’t want another subscription (f’n hate bills and only have a couple) so these work great with being able to keep a gig stick plugged into the Sync Module, which is what basically takes the WiFi and links the cameras to it. These come with the Sync Module, cord/plugin, the mounts, 4 screws, 4 lithium AA batteries, and the two cams. Everything needed to start your security adventure in about 10min. The app is free, but there is a cloud storage option for the video and pics that starts at $9.99/month. The video without the cloud storage gets deleted every 60 days from the sync module, unless you plug your gig stick in. I figure I’ll go through the footage once a week and delete what I don’t want to keep. There is also notifications you can enable or disable through the app. So if you’re gone or in bed and someone approaches it notifies you. That’s all customizable and mutable. Also had night vision that I haven’t seen yet but from other pics I’ve seen it’s pretty good and sufficient for normal home use.

We got 5 total blink outdoor 4 cams with a wifi hub. Setup was super easy starting with the hub then adding the cams 1 at a time to keep the names and locations straight. Wifi range is excellent in our 3 BR home. We have a thicker metal roof making signal strength and issue but have no issues with the 3 exterior cams. Access is via app only. Images are clear and it picks up motion very well. I like the time lapse feature. Alerts come in timely. Night images are clear and the interior cams generated more than enough light to illuminate the living room and kitchen. After 2 weeks of constant use the battery is still full. We can switch to live view easy and hear whatever is going on clearly. You can define sensitivity, privacy zones, and active zones to keep false alerts to a minimum. We are very pleased with the purchase, and option to subscribe or not.

Planning for long-term travel and not wanting a subscription service, I bought two Blink Outdoor 4 outdoor wireless camera to remotely monitor my front door for packages, and patio door for intruders. I also bought the Blink Sync XR (eXtended Range) base unit for local storage backup, and in case I wanted to later place cameras deeper into the yard. I selected Blink for the live streaming with two-way audio feature; however, I became addicted to the "Moments" video clip grouping and sharing feature during the free 30-day trial Plus Plan ... so I bought 4 additional cameras, and plan to purchase the Plus service at the end of the free trial period. The system was easy to install and setup, and, if you dare, has more advanced features that I enjoy and use. Nighttime resolution is very good. I had several false motion triggers until I configured each camera Zone to blocked out the offending areas. Slightly annoying, there is a 2 second delay between motion detection and alerting on my Android phone ... unrealistically, I wish for immediate ... and then it takes me at least an additional 3 seconds to unlock my phone and active live camera streaming. I did not need it, but I like the configurable privacy Zone to omit areas from video recording. I would like to see access controls, such as a parent or master mode and a restricted child or user mode to limit who can configure the system and delete videos ... currently, all users have full access and control ... which is easy to make mistakes if not careful.

I think these cameras are awesome yes you do have to pay for a monthly subscription but security don't come free no matter what you use think about it. Besides it don't cost much and picture quality is awesome a friend recommended it to me and I'm recommending it to whoever is interested you have full control over the camera it's quick setup and easy installation one camera maybe 30 seconds to install with proper tools that's how easy
