This is an older model (I think) as I have a new model installed over my garage door. However, this works just as well and was pretty easy to install. I replaced an outside coach light so the wiring was already there. I'm using it to light up the back yard for my dog's before-bed potty. I have Ring Protection so it was easy to add it to my subscription. I love that I can add these cameras and lights so easily and at no extra cost to the surveillance.

It arrived in pristine condition—no scratches, dents, or signs of wear. Setup was simple, and the app made it easy to get everything connected in just a few minutes. The 1080p HD video is sharp and clear, even at night thanks to the powerful motion-activated floodlights. The motion detection is highly responsive without being overly sensitive, and I love that I can customize the detection zones to reduce false alerts. The two-way audio works flawlessly, allowing me to communicate clearly with visitors or delivery drivers.

Review: Listen, if you're looking for a floodlight camera that means business, the Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus (Black, 2021) is it. This bad boy doesn't just light up the yard—it practically rolls out a red carpet of security with its motion-activated 1080p HD video. The installation? A breeze if you know your way around a screwdriver. Once it's up, the ultra-bright floodlights make sure there's no hiding—whether it's a nosy neighbor, a raccoon with attitude, or that one friend who still doesn't understand boundaries. The motion detection is chef’s kiss, sending crisp alerts straight to my phone without any annoying false alarms. And can we talk about the two-way audio? Oh honey, I can now remind delivery drivers to place the package down gently instead of tossing it like a frisbee. Pros: Crystal-clear video, day or night Blinding floodlights (seriously, sunglasses may be required) Loud siren to scare off anything that moves Easy integration with the Ring app for full control Cons: Needs a steady Wi-Fi connection (don’t blame the cam if your router is stuck in 2010) Subscription required for video storage, but hey, security isn't free! Bottom line—this camera is the boss of home security, and I feel like the queen of my castle knowing everything is covered. If you want peace of mind and a bit of sass in your security setup, this is the one.

Great camera, as to be expected from ring. The box it comes in is just a brown cardboard box, but the camera looks and works just like a factory fresh one. I've hooked up over a dozen ring cameras, and this one was a breeze to hook up and get running. I love the Ring camera system.

Came nicely packaged with all needed hardware. Before mounting, use your cell phone to take photo image of the QR Code on the back of the Camera/Sensor pod. Then send it to yourself in an email and print it out on a sheet of paper as it will be needed for setup later. Normally the QR Code is handy on owners manual or on side of original box, but these refurbished units come with neither. Otherwise a great way to save some money on these new 2nd gen units. * ONLY con for the new plus model.....rather bleek color for nighttime camera footage....IMO they must have either cheapened up on the camera or the wi-fi sending unit because in comparison to my 2.4ghz 1st Gen Ring Flood Light Cam, the Pro images at night are bleached out terribly almost no color at all when set to nightime color mode.

Lives up to reputation. Quick and simple to install. Took my stepson 10 minutes to install. Took me a bit longer to learn to navigate the app. The picture is very good quality, the sound is good. Anything you need to see / do is right in the app. Took me a while to learn how to quickly delete the pictures of no use (me walking in and out of the house, in the yard, etc) And I'm still learning all the trick of the Ring Security Light and Camera. I have recommended the Ring brand to several of my family members and friends.
