· Adjustable height and width to fit most keyboards: Our universal keyboard stand is fully adjustable, allowing you to properly align your piano, DJ mixers, turntables, synths, and midi keyboards. Liquid Stands' keyboard stand is compatible with all major keyboard brands. · Play while seated or standing: What makes the Z style electric piano stand so versatile is its ability to adjust to both the musician's height and the piano's width. With this stand, users will have the option to make music while standing or while sitting on a bench, seat or stool. · Weight limit of 250 pounds for the heaviest keyboards: This stand's heavy-duty construction supports the heaviest musical instruments and gear. A Z-style stand offers more stability and is less likely to tip than common X-style stands. Great for use on stage, at home or in the studio. · Includes headphone hook and anchoring straps: Each keyboard stand includes four adjustable feet, anti-skid foam pads, and a headphone hook. Also included are two anchoring straps that attach the keyboard to the stand for extra stability and protection. Great for musicians on the road or kids just learning at home. · Easy to set up, transport, and adjust dimensions: The height of the stand adjusts between 22.5” and 33.5” (in 1.25” increments); the width adjusts between 22.5” and 33.5” (in 2” increments). Set up and break down takes less than one minute and your stand can be packed flat for transport to gigs.

Very sturdy, plenty of room for knees, height and width independently adjustable, easy to set up, compact when taken down. A little heavy but would cost a lot more if made of aluminum or carbon composite. Altogether a great stand for supporting a single keyboard. Much better than the cheap stands and much less expensive than the professional stands.

I bought this for my Hismith machine, not a keyboard. It works fantastically for my purposes, it's very sturdy, easy to put together, easy to adjust, stays put even with the machine in use, and lightweight enough to move easily. Also came with several cool stickers, which I liked. Very good product at a great price point! *I bought purple, color is true to pics

This was extremely easy to assemble. The directions are some of the best, with numbered pouches for each type of screw, making it easy to know which is to be used for what connection. My only small critique is that the pads to go on top of the stand to protect the keyboard were less clearly marked. There were four of them, and the picture seemed to only show two, so I put two on the middle of the strut, then realized that what I thought was the pad in the picture was in fact the gap between the two pads one is supposed to put on each top part. I know, a bit confusing to understand, and I don't think it is a big deal, but that would be my only recommendation for improvement, Otherwise I really like the look and feel; it is very sturdy; easy to adjust; and performs its function perfectly. While I did not know it at the time, it is nice to read the story about how this small business got started -- always nice to support business like this. Oh and the stickers -- my 7 year old daughter (for whom the stand was bought) is going to love them!

My mother has moved to a single room, assisted living. I brought a Yamaha P115, 88 key, piano on the airplane for her. I needed a keyboard stand that could hold a long keyboard with stability, with room for Mom's wheelchair to fit underneath. I also didn't want to spend a ton of money. I decided to take a chance on Liquid Stands, buying this stand on Amazon. I had it delivered a few days later, directly to Mom. I was a little shocked how small the box was. Any worries were soon assuaged. The stand assembled quickly and easily. Liquid Stands has sacrificed absolute rigidity for a single cross brace, but once the keyboard was set, it was solid as a rock. I love the screw/spring mount knobs for adjusting the height and width. Easy to adjust but completely solid, especially when screwed down for rigidity. Liquid Stands provides 4 adhesive backed, foam pads to keep your keyboard firmly in place. If I had one gripe, it would be I wish they provided two, full length pads instead of 4 that won't cover the entire top surface of the stand. The P115 isn't deep, but I wanted to ensure the keyboard could be placed forward or back, so I cut two of the pads in half and strategically placed them. Minor, minor issue that was easily accommodated. I would definitely recommend this stand to anyone for its stability, portability (It's very light!), and flexibility in design for a variety of seated and standing heights and keyboard widths!

Super easy to assemble. As the product images with measurements show (thanks much for that by the way!) the stand doesn't take up any more space than absolutely necessary to do the job it needs to do. The only thing stopping me from a five-star rating is the set of plastic parts that I think are going to get brittle and break over the next couple of years. To bump this keyboard up into a truly premium category, replace the plastic cuff pieces, and maybe even the knobs, with something more like heavy duty rubber--something tough but flexible. I think the stand is going to be more than adequate for the way I intend to use it. I wouldn't personally use it for gigging, though I can't claim to have much experience with that. In my photos, I have my Roland fp30x digital piano on the stand. This is an 88 fully-weighted key unit. It weighs around 35 lb, so I can't claim to have tested the weight limits of this stand either. I don't know why almost everyone positions their keyboards toward the back of the supports so that they're sticking out in front of the keyboard. I've never used stands that way, and this one seems perfectly stable and solid with the keyboard position at the front. An advantage of using it this way, besides looking a lot better, is that I have about 8" in the back between the keyboard and the wall where I'm planning to eventually lay a shelf board and a support or two for additional components. I suspect the stand is going to slip around a little bit on this stone tile floor. Absolutely everything else slips around on it. So I'll probably be making some modifications to make it a bit stickier on the bottom. It would be fine on almost any other surface. Has for keyboard movement, I don't experience any side to side or front to back swaying, but there is some small quick movement I would describe as vibration. This may be due partly to not having the stand legs spread widely enough. So, some experimentation might get rid of that entirely as well.... If it even bothers me. My main motivation for getting this stand is that the Roland is a pretty tall keyboard--or thick, depending on how you look at it--so the keys tend to sit too high on most stands at their lowest setting. This stand more than solves that problem. I have it set at the 24 inch height and the tops of the keys are pretty much piano standard, maybe even a little bit lower, which I like. The only remaining test is time, so we'll see how it holds up.

The stand is packaged in a deceptively small (but weighty) package... assembling it was a breeze, and it does exactly what it should do - hold a beefy synthesizer (in my case a Roland XP-80) without breaking a sweat. I got the hot pink because... well, I like pink :) Super solid stand, a few fun stickers gratis, adjustable, 5/5, would buy again... but this thing will probably outlive me.

We have been using this stand for over a year now. We have a fairly heavy (40 pounds / 18 Kg Yamaha CP-33) keyboard that is used as a second piano when the upright one is being used. The stand we needed had to be adjustable so as to have a comfortable sitting position and be stable. Many stands do not go low enough to accomodate fairly high electric piano with hammer keys, but this one does. It is super stable for a heavy keyboard, although there is much more movement than with an upright (which is to be expected...). So although it is not completely equivalent to our upright (neither is the actual keyboard), this is likely as close as we can get. The price seemed competititive at the time (it cost $90+tx in the autumn of 2000), it was very easy to assemble, and the extra headphone hook is practical (though the screw loosens easily so we have to tighten it regularly if we want the hook to stay in its intended position). Not as practical as an X-stand for frequent disassembly and reassembly (e.g. for gigs), it takes a few minutes to disassemble and reassemble rather than just unfold. But We needed to take it along on vacation to another home and installed it there, it does not take much room in the trunk and is travel-friendly.

I have been using an x stand for my Yamaha P145 since bought it 8 month ago. I had no issues with it wobbling, but I’d didn’t go low enough so I had to raise my drum stool considerably to get in almost the right position. This was perfect solution, easy to build, solid as a rock, plenty of space for my legs and that extra few inches lower that I was looking for, I didn’t even know my keyboard had holes on the bottom of it to add straps until I got this! Well done liquid stands! You have got me as a loyal customer now, only problem I don’t think I’ll ever need to buy another stand again!
