My original MX lost middle scroll button functionality after years of great service in the office (the rest worked perfectly still), so I purchased the 2S as a replacement and am just as happy. Being able to connect to (up to) 3 machines means I can use it with my personal PC and work machine. Bluetooth pairing is simple. If you use Excel (or other apps that need to scroll sideways) the side scroll button is super useful. Ergonomics are great. Battery life is excellent - I only have to charge every few months and this is used all day through the work week. It isn't picky about the surface you use it on. I'd buy another one tomorrow if I needed to.

The Logitech MX Master 2S Bluetooth Edition Wireless Mouse is a standout tool for productivity and ergonomics. Its build quality is superb, with a well-balanced weight of approximately 145g that feels solid yet comfortable for extended use. The sculpted design with a dedicated thumb rest ensures that even long hours of work are strain-free. One of the highlights is its 4000 DPI Darkfield sensor, which truly lives up to its claim of working on virtually any surface—even glass. The hyper-fast scrolling feature is a productivity booster, allowing you to breeze through long documents effortlessly. The additional buttons and customizable gestures are intuitive and greatly enhance multitasking. The mouse’s battery life is exceptional. Logitech’s claim of 70 days on a full charge feels accurate, as I’ve comfortably gone weeks without needing to recharge. The quick-charge feature is also a nice touch—just a few minutes of charging provides hours of usage. However, there are a few areas where the experience could be improved. The Bluetooth connectivity, while functional most of the time, can occasionally be inconsistent, requiring a manual reconnection. Additionally, while the Logitech Options software offers extensive button customization, the learning curve for setting up advanced features can be steep for less tech-savvy users. The scroll wheel’s speed adjustment, though innovative, might feel overly sensitive to some users who prefer a more traditional tactile experience. Overall, the Logitech MX Master 2S is an excellent choice for professionals who value precision, comfort, and versatility. Despite minor shortcomings, its strengths far outweigh its weaknesses, making it a worthy investment for both Mac and Windows users.

This is my third Logitech mouse in the MX Master series that I bought in recent times. After being totally impressed with my own MX Master 3S, I bought an additional MX Master 3S for my son (a graphic artist), and most recently, this MX Master 2S for my daughter (everyday computer usage). We are all super happy with these mice. Dependable Logitech quality, 2 months+ of usage on a single charge, useful features that are easy to access and activate, customizable button functions based on the specific software that you are using, and ergonomics that absolutely first rate. Even the mouse feel is solid. It does not feel flimsy or fragile, and the main mouse buttons (left and right click) feel the exact same way today as they did almost 2 years ago when my MX Master 3S was new. The variable speed scroll wheel is also so genius and convenient, adapting the scroll speed based on use without needing to selective press a button to change the scrool speed. (There is a button to change the scroll speed, but I almost never use that button since the mouse itself will automatically change the scroll speed mode based on how I use the mouse.) I know that there are other brands and designs out there, but based on cheaply some of them feel in hand, and how over time the main mouse buttons begin to lose their spring support, I am happy to spend the little extra to purchase a Logitech mouse that I know I will be happy with for the long haul.

Awesome mouse. Good build quality and easy to set up. Love how the scroll wheel works on this the most, and the horizontal scroll on it. Only issue is at time it has been disconnecting from my computer Bluetooth on start up.

After a decade of service, my beloved Logitech Performance MX Wireless Mouse stopped accepting a charge unless I wiggled the USB port just so, so I bought its replacement model, the Logitech MX Master 2S Bluetooth Edition Wireless Mouse. After a bit of minor confusion pairing it to my Windows 10 PC and charging it up, I'm delighted with the familiar feel and the addition of the thumb scroller on the side. I'm very happy with it. Note: that's my old mouse for comparison and my dinosaur coffee cup for irony.

This is my second MX master and I love it. The first was a hand me down from a friend and was a little worn already. That one eventually stopped working but only after I had it for about seven years (not counting how long my friend had it before that). Highly recommend. It's very accurate, has great software to adjust it to your needs, has a lateral scroll wheel at the upper thumb edge, and a button to make then scroll wheel click or spin freely (which can also be retasked as a shortcut for just about anything). The scroll wheel is also a button, the thumb rest is a button, and there are two more buttons by the thumb scroller. It may sound like it's got a lot going on but honestly, you'll use what you want and none of the reast is in the way or even noticable so it really scales to any need from basic to advanced. The battery life has been mind blowing and with near daily use at work, I find I only need to charge it about once every couple of months. The buttons have nice soft clicks to them and the mouse overall feels very well put together and sturdy, not hollow or overly plasticy.

Pleasant to hold. Feels good in my average sized hand. Holds a decent charge. Even cheap mice work pretty well, but this one is nicer to use and that might be worth the extra money even if you don't need the advanced features it offers technical users.

I bought this for a co-worker. I had a Gen 2 for 6 years without issue, never failed me. I have since upgraded to a gen 3, but these are still fantastic and comfortable. I bought a cheaper knock off last year to try, and it only lasted a year. The logitech is worth the money as it lasts.

This mouse can track on all surfaces I've thrown at it. The clicking of the buttons isn't annoying. The weight feels great. I'm a fan of the free spinning mouse wheel when scrolling down to the bottom of websites or Excel spreadsheets. Only qualm I have is the back/forward buttons are awkward for someone with fat fingers.

A known issue if you search the web. Does not matter if you have a unified dongle or pair using bluetooth. The mouse becomes inactive, cursor on the screen freezes, then moves randomly not matching your input. Uninstalled and reinstalled application, uninstalled reinstalled device driver for the mouse, turned off power setting in device manager, tried another unified usb dongle, in event viewer showed logi errors. Mouse is unusable. Its a shame.
