Immediately made me cry. I love books that make me reflect as a parent. 10/10. Mostly for parent rather than child, but will be one you keep in the library for your child to read to their future child.

This is a book that is somehow uplifting, but also heavy-hearted. You don't want to be sad, because the message is great. That if you're lucky you will have someone that will love you forever, but it makes you confront the nature of life that we put in the background in order to live. So many authors could not create in a novel what this one did in only a few pages, and I'm glad I was able to gift this book to my mother on her birthday.

I bought this book years ago. The first time I read it, I cried. I had my husband & mother in law read it as well, they both were in tears. It touched all of our hearts. So I bought more so that my children can read it to their children. Best book for you to read to your kids. Unconditional LOVE.
