It’s good last for a long time!

I was skeptical about this deodorant’s ability to combat body odor at first, but it really worked we - at least in that department. I hesitatingly tested the deodorant stick on my torso because the first thing I noticed was the scent. This is an unscented deodorant, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have a scent of its own coming from the ingredients that create it. It smelled odd and a bit rancid. It did not smell good at all. I thought maybe the smell would go away after a while, but after applying it, I could smell it on me for hours. I had to cover it up with some scented body spray. I have to admit that it did prevent body odor for me very well, though, and it sometimes smelled better than my own body odor, although sometimes I’d prefer my own body odor than this scent. It seemed to work for at least 24 hours. I did not test it longer than this. I like that the wipes come in a small resealable package, which is easy for travel. They are very soft. The first one I took out had ripped a little, but it was strong enough not to fall apart during use. They are not shower sized wipes, but they are not as small as some of the wipes that come in packets at restaurants to wipe your hands after a messy meal. They are hand-sized wipes, being about 6” x 6”. I think they contain sufficient moisture to maybe wipe down maybe half of the body. Or they can be used solely in discreet areas. I like that they are flushable. The Cool Cucumber scent is alright. It’s not very strong, nor long lasting. I do detect some of the scent that the deodorant stick has, but it’s not at bad. These wipes didn’t work as well at eliminating body odor for me. While it’s very impressive how well these eliminate body odor, I can’t seem to get past the smell. I have a sensitive nose and certain scents like this one bother me a lot. I can tolerate the scent of the wipes, but not the deodorant stick. Neither of them irritated my sensitive skin. I’d be curious to try the solid deodorant stick in a different scent to see how it compares. If the scent was better, I’d give these 5 stars. Unfortunately, the scent ruins them for me. On their own, I’d give the deodorant stick 3 stars, and the wipes 4 stars. I’ll be generous and give this set 4 stars because of how impressively they work to control body odor.

We've all seen the Lume commercials by now and I've always wanted to try it but hesitated because of the price point and well, there's always something more importantly on the list. So when I had the chance to try it, I nabbed it. Lavender sage deodorant is a great smell - Of course, it's more feminine than masculine I'd say, but it sure does the job. I am really liking the rise of these all over body deodorant products because if perchance you are or know a lady who has a little leakage issue going on, let me tell you this is what you want. It is skin gentle, and does a fabulous job of keeping the odor away. I have previously seen some reviews of this brand say that after awhile, there is something of a strange, funky smell that isn't sweat but is rather indescribably unpleasant. I did not experience that at all. Although the initial strong lavender scent diminished, there was no discernable sweat odor either. I have used this at the gym, and did the sniff test before heading home, and even after some intense treadmill time, no odor. I want to say that for me, I also found another value in the lavender scent - Did you know in large part, it keeps bugs away? Being an apartment dweller who is justifiably paranoid of bugs, I put this on before going to the community room or even in other resident's apartments. I put it around my ankles especially to discourage any jumper-oners, and I can say I think this will be useful this summer also when I am out fishing. We'll see - and I can't guarantee anything for anyone of course, but as I said, I'm paranoid so what can it hurt? The wipes work perfectly and mostly I keep those in my work bag so I can have a little freshen up if I go out after work and can't get a shower in between. The cucumber scent is mild and refreshing.

I actually grew up using unscented deodorants/antiperspirants due to some family members having super sensitivity to certain scents so as I got older and tried to find other options that were aluminum-free, I often found scented deodorant to be really distracting throughout the day. I am not a very sweaty or active person so I don't mind that this is not an antiperspirant, but I do appreciate that this is truly unscented. I admit to being a little worried about the texture when I first opened it because it looked like it might be gritty since there were little crystal-like things on the top, but it actually goes on completely smoothly and I think that texture was just from the little cap/covering thing that I pulled off of it. I haven't had any irritation either, very happy with this deodorant. The wipes are not unscented, but the cool cucumber scent is very mild and not bothersome to me. The wipes themselves are a standard size and the small packaging makes it perfect for throwing into your bag, especially for travel. I would think this would also be good for taking to the gym or out and about if you're a more active person and want the option to freshen up a little more.

After seeing the commercials, I skeptically ordered some to try. I’M HOOKED! Amazing stuff for chubby folks!
