I was so upset when my charging cord decided not to work anymore for me. I thought that I was doomed. So very upset!!! My wonderful son went hunting for me to see if he could find a replacement charging cord for me. And he did!!!! I ordered 2 of them because my computer is 10 years old and I might need another one sometime. It worked so well!!! Plugged it in and started to charge my battery. I was so grateful. Plus this one is nicer than the old one that I had.

I’ve only had it for a day but I lost my original charger and wasn’t fixing to buy a new one for $70-$90. My MacBook Air was completely dead and it fully charged it as fast as the original charger. I didn’t experience any overheating at all. The box portion does get a little warm but most of them do. It was nothing that made me worry. My original apple one did the same. Definitely a great value for a replacement. The cord length is just as long as the original in my opinion, about 4-5ft, just a guesstimate. I was worried with other reviewers saying it was short. It’s not. In my opinion it’s just as long as the original and if it’s shorter it’s only by a foot. Will update my review if anything negative changes but so far, it does its job!!

So happy I got this charger! One of the great things about apple products is their build quality. My Mac still works great as a browsing tool. But the original charger started getting progressively unreliable. The issues were not with the typical areas I read about, but bare wire exposure due to kitty fascination with anything long and serpenty. The duct tape repair method was no longer working. After looking at all the Amazon knock off choice, I got this replacement charger based on quality and number of reviews on Amazon. One caution: the cord is shorter than the original because the AC plug-in side does not include the extra 5 ft or so of the power cord. I detached my original AC cord from the original Apple charger, and reattached it to the new charger, and it now works the same, plus I have a 3 prong plug. So it is virtually identical to the original charger in length. Of course if the AC power cord side is a problem this won't work. I can't speak to longevity but so far it has easily charged my device in the usual short time it takes.

A complete piece of crap. I've had it for less than 6 months and it has stopped working completely. Had to throw it out and get a new one. Just know, you get what you pay for. Don't waste your time - just get a quality charger for a little more money that'll last you years.

Works good, charges fast and gets the job done. Does overheat though. I ordered one dec 2023 and the plug piece just broke / came apart on yesterday. however no sparks or anything dangerous. So it lasted me up to a year, okay for the price.

Comes in handy

So far very happy with this charger. Sometimes the led doesn't illuminate but i really don't care as long as it charges the computer right?!
