This book has 60 mazes in fun designs with the solutions for each one at the back of the book. The mazes start off pretty simple and become more challenging the deeper you get into the book. My 4 year old has completed 5 of them so far, in order, and seems challenged enough to stay engaged but not so challenged that he's annoyed or frustrated. I feel like the more mazes he completes the easier he'll get through the harder ones, but it may be another year or so before he will be able to complete the harder ones. I don't know if these mazes are challenging enough for all 8 year olds, though. I have him filling this out using a pencil so we can erase his solutions and he can keep using it for practice. I saw another review mention that there were 2 solutions missing from the back of their book. Maybe that was a problem that has since been corrected because the book I received, ordered in November 2020, has all 60 solutions.

This was bought for my child to "stretch" her brain. There are lots of different activities in here for her to do, and of course, she loves the mazes found towards the back of the book. There are some other mazes scattered about toward the beginning and middle, as well. Many activities involving finding something that is different or missing, logic, or finding patterns. So far, my 5 year old loves it, especially to use in the car when we are traveling somewhere locally. In about two weeks times, she has probably used it 8 times and finished about a 20 - 30 pages. It's one more thing to get her to focus and use her brain to problem solve a bit.

Nice mix. Great as a gift for 5 year old grandson.

Cute activity book for 6 year old. Would recommend

This interesting book keeps my boy engaged. It has a sequential level of difficulties planned per puzzle. Good quality and good size of puzzles for a kid to see properly. The puzzles are in black and white colour. Has 60 puzzles with solutions all given at the end of the book plus some extra blank pages so my kid uses them to draw or write too. I am happy with the book.

Great for first grader who has had almost no experience at real school. Lost a big chunk of Kindergarten last year and do far all of first grade at home. She loves mazes and this one is being used for rewards or respite breaks too. When she completes a little school assignment - she can work in her maze book for awhile before going on to the next assignment.

My 3yo's daycare recommended this & it has been great! I didn't really understand why mazes, but after doing several, I noticed her other drawings had details i could pick out and her pencil control was so much better! I guess all those mazes really helped improve her writing skills, so it's both fun and helpful. happy mama over here

Great for various ages ... mazes labeled by difficulty !

I got this for my 3.5 year old for Christmas. She was obsessed. I had to buy 3 more. Great way to get some quiet time. There is a nice mix of easy and harder mazes.
