I know it isn't specifically for that but I used it on my 30-year-old fiberglass shower and it made It Shine Like New Again. I wish I had taken "before" pictures but I didn't know it was going to make that much difference.

I bought a a fiberglass boat that was nearly twenty years old. The fiberglass was in reasonable shape but had medium to heavy oxidization and deep scratches consistent with its age. I tried many things to bring back the shine, including a slew of automotive products and the 3M Marine Compound that many people rave about but none of these products worked for me at all. I was particularly disappointed wit the 3M product as it seemed to do nothing at all and was expensive! By contrast the Meguiar's worked like a miracle and the boat came up like new with just one buff. I guess every situation is different but I am really impressed with how this stuff worked for me. My only caution would be that this product seems to work with a combination of a chemical solvent and mild abrasive. The colored areas of the gelcoat caused the buffing pad to change to that color very quickly suggesting that a LOT of surface material is being removed. I am no expert but I suspect it works by softening the gelcoat with the solvent then removing the softened layer with the abrasives. Given that, in my option this product should be used for that one major compounding where you want to bring an old boat back like new. I would be very careful using this product regularly or on a new boat where only a light buff / wax is needed. If anyone is interested, here is the exact process and tools that worked so well for me: 1. I used a Dewalt DWP849 7/9" buffer set to 3,000 RPM 2. Fitted the polisher with a flexible backing plate and a Gracefur Hook and Loop 100% Wool Polishing Bonnet 3. Washed and dried the boat to remove surface grit, dirt and old wax 4. Spread a generous amount of the Maguiars evenly over a two square ft region at a time using a microfiber cloth. I found it worked best to use a lot of compound i.e. A layer of material about 1/16 thick on the surface 5. Polished with an overlapping elliptical action until the compound was mostly gone and just a faint haze remained. I used a medium pressure - enough to bend the backing pad a little but not enough to stall the machine. I found it worked best if you use the edge of the pad (i.e. at an angle to the surface) as opposed to laying it flat on the surface 6. Wiped the haze off with a clean microfiber cloth 7. Marveled at the result!! If your gelcoat is colored the buffing pad will change color quickly, so use a separate pad for each color region to prevent color transfer. For deep scratches and gouges I put large amount of compound (1/8 thick) specifically on that area and worked it in harder than other areas. When the job was complete I used Meguiar's Premium Wax to seal the surface. I used a 10" random orbit polisher for the wax and this took out any swirls left by the more aggressive compound. The wax also added even greater luster and color depth but I have not tested the longevity of the wax in the water yet. One 32oz bottle of compound did a 24' cuddy cabin boat above and below the waterline.

Of all the products I have tried for my older fiberglass Sunrader, this is the ONLY product (including other Meguiar's products) that worked, and easily I might add. I simply washed and put some of this on the buffing wheel and wiped it off [SUPER EASY] and the camper looked BRAND NEW. If you have something fiberglass [or metallic] that you want to look new again, USE THIS. Obviously it won't replace missing paint, and does not replace paint, but it will work with what paint is left to help your vehicle look shiny and new!

I bought an older boat which had some oxidation and blemishes all over the bull, walls, and floor. This will cut through the oxidation pretty quickly and a lot of the scratches/stains I thought were permanent came out as well. From that standpoint, I am really satisfied. But, this is advertised as a one-step product that will polish and add gloss. That it doesn't do that so well. I'm left with a haze even after buffing not only with a cloth, but wool wheel on my power buffer. It needs a wax or other polish to go on after. If it was only a rubbing compound, I'd be thrilled, but when I thought I was going to be able to skip a step and only do one pass on the boat, I was a little disappointed.

Sehr gutes Produkt kleine Kratzer und mittlere Kratzer wegzubekommen war damit kein Problem, mit verhältnismäßig wenig Aufwand. Ich werde mich in Zukunft wieder für dieses Produkt entscheiden.

I recently used the Meguiar's M6732 Marine/RV One Step Compound on my boat, and the results were outstanding. This product is a true game-changer for anyone looking to restore and maintain their marine or RV surfaces. Design: The 32 oz. bottle is easy to handle and apply. The formula is specifically designed to clean fiberglass and gel coat surfaces while leaving behind a high-gloss finish in one step. Functionality: This compound effectively removes heavy oxidation, scratches, stains, and tough water spots. It restores the color and shine of neglected surfaces, making them look almost new again. It works well whether you apply it by hand or by machine. Durability: The results are long-lasting, and the surfaces remain glossy and protected for an extended period. Regular use of this compound will keep your boat or RV looking pristine. Ease of Use: The application process is straightforward. Simply apply the compound to the surface, work it in with a soft cloth or buffer, and then wipe off the excess. The instructions are clear, and the product performs as advertised.
