Great MacBook!! Has the M1 chip which extends battery life. Prefect condition. Like new. Has 180 battery cycles. Not bad for a 2020 model. For the price, it was a pretty good deal.

“I am extremely disappointed with this purchase. The MacBook Pro I received does not match the description provided. The battery drains quickly, and the performance is far below expectations. Additionally, the condition was not as advertised—there were noticeable scratches and signs of wear that were not mentioned. This is misleading and unacceptable for a ‘renewed’ product. I expected better quality and transparency from the seller. I do not recommend buying from this seller unless they improve their quality control and honesty in product descriptions

Although (as per Amazon's guidelines) the battery is not 80% capacity or greater (the machine randomly turns off and the battery is malfunctioning and a replacement is required) the laptop is otherwise in excellent, like new condition (there is one very, very tiny ding on the left side). Sending it for a new battery is a minor inconvenience considering the significant savings versus buying new. I am pleased with the purchase and so is the recipient. Thank you!

First, it was beautiful and in perfect condition. Miraculously, because it arrived loose in a box with NO padding or packing material. It powered up splendidly. I updated it to OS Ventura from OS Sierra. Then it couldn’t find my PC so that I could migrate data. It performed two partial migrations while using Sierra, but got stuck for two days each time. So after wasting a lot of time with an AI bot (who claimed to be human, but I don’t think so) at Windows support, I called Apple. Got an appointment with the Genius Bar. The guy examined the computer and asked where I bought it. I said Amazon. He said that they could do the migration for me, although usually they only do it if you buy from them. However, since I had tried literally everything on my own, he said he would help me. But he asked a few more questions, and examined the laptop. He said updating it to Ventura was probably the problem, because it was a 2017 and the technology had changed a lot since then. I said, “Uh, it’s supposed to be a “mid-2019.” He said, “Nope. 2017. It was PURCHASED in mid-2019. But it was built in 2017.” He asked how much I paid for it, and I showed him. He sighed. Said, “It’s a good price for a used 2017.” Returned due to deception on part of seller and inability to migrate data. Tbh, if the Migration Assistant had worked, I would be perfectly happy and still clueless. But it didn’t, and now I’m looking for a 2020 laptop that is verifiably 2020. Three stars for excellent condition.

My last MacBook Pro was definitely on the older side. Like, it still has the CD/DVD port old. Yet it lasted such a long time I was so sad to see it go. I immediately went to search for a replacement for my hard working baby and immediately fell over. I specifically wanted this MacBook Pro as it was new enough for me to assume it wouldn’t give me any pressing issues but not the newest version with that weird Touch Bar. I have a couple friends who barely a year in the Touch Bar would start to fail and with the high price point I didn’t think was worth it. BUT they don’t sell this one through Apple anymore so off I went to scavenge amazon to see if this model still exists. Luckily for me I found what I was looking for!!! I’ve never bought a refurbished laptop before yet I took the risk and bought it anyways. It came in double boxed and everything looked brand new! A couple months later and I can confidently say that I’m so happy with this purchase and it definitely saved me $$$ from buying it through Apple!

As you can see from my photo, i took it while in the process of writing this review. I don't make a habit of writing them, but for the price and the value that I received I felt compelled to write one. 1. I was impressed when I took the laptop out the box, everything about it looked new I would not have been able to tell it was renewed/refurbished if I didn't know beforehand. 2. The keyboard is in tip top shape, and the speed on the laptop seems okay so far. I've only had it for a few days but so far I am happy with the purchase. I previously had an Air which i purchased brand new, however the processor was struggling to edit videos in FCP so I looked at this used MacBook option to fill the gap until I buy a new one. I will update review based on performance with video editing.

Ho acquistato il laptop in condizioni “accettabili” avendo già fatto pace con l’idea di ricevere una macchina piena di bozze e graffi. Invece sorpresa! I graffi presenti sulla scocca e sullo schermo sono quasi del tutto invisibili. Ci ho smacchinato un po’ e devo dire che non ho riscontrato problemi su velocità o altro. Mi piace tantissimo, sono davvero soddisfatta dell’acquisto 🥰

Click to play video La MacBook Pro renewed ha llegado para mi, en excelentes condiciones; efectivamente se trata de un modelo 2019, con un procesador de 2.4 GHz Core i5 de 4 núcleos con una memoria de 16 GB y 250.69 GB en DDHH. Tenía preinstalado macOs Ventura 13.4 e inmediatamente de encenderla y conectarla en la Red, me ofrecía actualizarla al más reciente OS de Apple: Sonoma 14.5. Tiene una muy excelente velocidad para ejecutar los aplicaciones y muy buenas prestaciones para trabajos profesionales de diseño y productividad (oficina y elaboración de trabajos académicos -por los cuales yo la necesito-) realmente este MacBook está como nueva y ha valido la pena.

En bon état malgré des petits défauts (rien de grave jusque là) sauf qu'au fil du temps, des touches commencent à se coincer (la barre espace, le O, le V, la croix directionnelle gauche, le i) mais SURTOUT mon trackpad qui s'est coincé il y a une semaine qui était inutilisable mais le problème s'est réglé.. jusque'à 4 jours plus tard où je me retrouve avec un trackpad qui est bloqué sur toute la partie gauche et le pad est inutilisable parce que le moindre mouvement le fait vibrer et par conséquent il clique en boucle. Je me retrouve à devoir le remplacer (188 euros hors taxes.. non merci). L'ordinateur se met facilement à souffler/chauffer dès que je vais sur certains sites également. D'ailleurs, je ne sais pas si ça vient du remplacement de l'écran lorsqu'il a été reconditionné mais c'est un enfer à nettoyer, je ne fais qu'étaler les traces voire en rajouter mais bon heureusement ça se voit pas trop si il n'y a pas de reflets.
