I bought because I needed a carrier to take a feral cat home from getting neutered, I loved the way the top half is connected to the bottom (comes in 2 pieces, easy assembly) because when I got him home and put in the big rehab cage all I did was take the top half of carrier off and he has a bed now ( he was drugged so wasn't going wild 😜). I am goin to buy more because I am crazy feral cat girl. Control the population, Spay and Neuter. Please.thanks for reading. Hope it helped.

Other than the funky way to open & close the gate. It’s great. Perfect size, used for moving seemed to be pretty sturdy which o worried about since my boy is a little bit. Design of the open/close of the door it worked great. Putting together was pretty easy too

Ordered 2 of these as I needed to bring several kittens at once to be altered and each needed it's own crate and I didn't want to spend a lot. When product arrived i was a little apprehensive, but followed instructions and they were together in no time and very sturdy. So happy with this purchase.

About a week ago we adopted a stray. We needed to get a new carrier though, our old one is way too big for a single, small cat, so I bought this one to use when we took him to his neutering appointment. I put him in it when it arrived to see how he would handle it, and he broke out of it within a few minutes. He stuck his paws under the door to get some leverage and pushed his head against the door to pop the door open, despite the fact that I had the door closed and locked. Our little Houdini here isn't all that big - the vet estimated he's about 8-12 months old, and weighed a little over 7 lbs when we brought him in. The locks themselves spin into position, inserting 2 from the top and 2 from the bottom, each having a flared base that's supposed to keep it in place. Somehow when he popped the door open, he managed to dislodge the top lock itself. I thought maybe I just didn't have it all the way in place or something, so I made sure to push it all the way in and it seemed secure...until he was taken to the clinic this morning for his appointment, where he managed to bust out again - this time in the car. Fortunately I placed the carrier in such a way that he was unable to open the door all the way to get out, and there was more than one person in the car. All said, this carrier might work fine for small cats that are docile enough to not attempt an escape, but if you have a bigger, stronger companion, or one that is a known escape artist, I suggest looking elsewhere for something sturdier.

I think I already wrote a review a while ago but idk how to find it to update it like I see others do. I didn’t get a fake product or a replica or something nothing like the picture like Amazon LOVES to do to everyone. I have never had that happen to me but I KNOW it happens. I thought this crate was a cute color and cheap and big enough for my frenchie. Whom respectfully would never try to escape her crate. I’ve had this crate since September 20, 2022. Used it for a car ride up to Maine and back 6hrs total, and 2 nights while up there. I haven’t used it for it’s intended purpose since. It was just to travel with anyway, a quick fix. Right away I had missing parts. I contacted the seller, I was nice, they were SUPER NICE and I received replacement right away. Just the parts. However, the plastic turn locks on both the bottom and the top for the door do not work properly. They open and close as they should but the metal door doesn’t stay in the slots designated for them. Plastic isn’t firm so when you pick up the crate, with out dog, it droops maybe a few millimeters and it sometimes pops out. I can pull the door out very easily when it’s locked as well, I’m not a strong female either. The dial like locks to latch the top to the bottom, they don’t always catch the plastic bar they are intended to slide over if you don’t pay attention to how lined up they are, understandable but still annoying when you’re use to metal everything and more durable harder plastic and things that latch closed instead of turn dials. My complaint on these: I have a THREE POUND RABBIT. He’s so fn cute!! A lovable tyrant but I don’t care until I’m asleep at night. Where he randomly thumps through out. Not every night. Rain, snow, hot, cold, windy, stormy, if I’m up late or go to bed early.. doesn’t matter in case you think it might be weather changes or me being noisy.. nope. I think he’s having bad dreams and thumps in his sleep. He lives in my bedroom at night. Normally rabbits are more active at night but he isn’t at all. The thumping scares the crap out of me. I sleeps in a small 3x5ft crate, 3ft tall, and has the run of whatever room I’m currently in throughout the day. To keep this crate in use, if he thumps, it has hay as a very thick bedding ready for him if he thumps. It has high walls as you can see so no messes from him with his hay. Well he thumps, normally sometime after 3am, I am scared awake, if I go back to sleep after telling him to stop(put I know, stupid right lol, rabbits listening to that) he will do it for the rest of the early morning until 7am when I decide to get up. Can’t have that. So I take him out his enclosure to this crate and move him to the hallway, close my door. He seems to stop thumping then, but he’s in the hallway in case he does, it will be muffled. Well tonight he thumped like crazy, in the crate he went. Mind you, he’s only 3 pounds. This thing is suppose to hold my 25lb dog about 12k for everyone else. The dial lock on the side broke. The piece it slides over just broke. So now the metal door that already doesn’t stay well in it’s crappy holes, won’t stay up at all. I do not man handle this crate. I’m very easy with it because I know it’s so fragile. You can tell immediately when you get it. Now I’m forced to prop the door side against the wall so it doesn’t pop forward out. I ended up taping that side with FedUp shipping tap.. from my job. I’ll need to use duct tape because that’s what this crate will call for. I’ll have to tape up the entire seam of it. One weak pillar sends the whole house down. Things have been chipping off of this weak plastic crate since I got it. The locking door pieces don’t even stay in THEIR own holes either!.. nothing fits properly. The molds they made the parts from, they put too much plastic in it, it seeped over but no one shaved it down smooth. This is good for a cat use to a crate, whom won’t bother to escape at all. It’s a crate not meant to be picked up with or without 3lbs in it. It’s a crate made to transport a few birds to the vet, or an arm length lizard, or a snake wider than a quarter or a rat or two.. Tips. Pre tape all seams or gorilla glue it. Don’t expect to carry it normal because the handle isn’t made well either. If you need to carry, HOLD FROM THE BOTTOM. and do not use for long periods of time. I also do not use this crate every time my rabbit thumps. Sometimes he does stop on his own. So I’ve maybe gently used this crate 1x a week since September for the rabbit.

I ordered one of these to replace a 20 year old carrier (that was much heavier and not as good of a gate system). 2 days later I ordered another of these. So simple to put together, the kittens love playing in it, very light but solidly built. Just not sure why the top is open under the handle when it arrived, but it seems like it should be closed, so I closed it. Also, it comes with 2 strap hooks. I can't imagine running a strap through the hooks and carrying like that, when it has a perfectly fine built in handle...

Great for the Vet visit - and a medium cat Wouldn't go larger or longer.

Useful to ferry your furball around—especially if you are not a fan of them on car seats. Sturdy build; spacious for a small breed.
