I have owned Pugs all my life. Pugs are funny when it comes to grooming issues. Some are easy going and others will make your life hell when you try to groom a pamper them properly. My beautiful Pug, River Song, falls into the latter category. She will fight us tooth and nail (literally) when it comes to these things. Namely she will not lets us get near her paws to clip her nails, and she most certainly will not lets us brush her teeth. If you have ever owned a pug, you know how bad their breath can get very quickly. Well our girl has had some nasty dragons breath for quite some time. We have tried multiple products and none of them have worked the way they promised too. Even some of the popular ones, let’s say…like the ones in the green packaging ;) they haven’t done anything for our girls breath. Truthfully I feel like I’ve wasted so much time and money. Then I saw the Milk Bones in the list of dental stuff for dogs. I decided to buy these because when I was a kid my mom and grandma always had milk bones for their dogs so I thought “let’s go old school”. I am so glad I did!!! River’s breath is clean! When she runs to greet us at the door, no more turning away from her loves she wants to shower us with. When guests come over I don’t have to warn people about her breath anymore. I mean pretty much within two days, her breath wasn’t even noticeable! Now I know this is no substitute for overall canine dental health. I still need to keep trying to get in those hard to reach places in the back of her mouth. As well as taking her in for routine check ups. But in the mean time, this is helping very nicely and a testament to why my mom and grandma trusted this brand for years when I was growing up! Why? Because they actually work! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

My 3 dogs (Huskey, English bulldog, Golden doodle) Absolutely lve these dental chews they can't wait for the box to arrive. they all seem to have different tastes when it comes to treats so that is a win. they are always fresh and i feel like they are keeping their teeth and gums healthy also nice big bag. though they could make a bigger one for this crew! I've always trusted Milk bone

There is only one ritual that surpasses my morning caffeine intake in unwavering habitual practice. Two, but I don’t count the bathroom visit. I’m convinced these bones are the reason my pups eyes pop open in the morning with hope and excitement. It is their morning “canine coffee” if you will. I will run out of my vitamins, staple foods, even patience. But these will forever be on my stand as long as I have two furry babies sharing my space. Sometimes they are devoured at once. Sometimes slowly savored. Sometimes stollen. But they are loved dearly and the vet says teeth look great.

My Newf's teeth always get an all-clear from the vet, so I have to assume Brushing Chews work. She gets one (the largest size) last thing before bed every night. I stock up and keep the unopened bags in the freezer, allowing them to thaw before I feed them. They're approved by the Veterinary Oral Health Council, which was a factor in my deciding to use them; another factor was that most of Milk-Bone ingredients (with the exception of some of the supplements) are sourced from here in the U.S. My dog loves them, so that's a win-win-win.

My dog loves these and I use it every night to signal "it's time to go to be". Once he eats this he settles down and knows it's bedtime, plus it helps keep his teeth clean. For an older dog, he does not have any oral health problems, and this product has been a staple in his routine and diet.

My dogs (German Shepard/Lab mix...12 years old & Bernese Mountain Dog/Lab mix...one year old) love these and have been getting them (one daily) as a treat for a long time. I have had positive comments from our Vet saying how great their teeth look so I guess they indeed do what they are intended to do which is help keep their teeth clean and eliminating the need to have them professionally cleaned. I highly recommend them since the dogs not only find them enticing as a treat but because they are good for their teeth.
