The description is "small/medium" but they are actually a size that most treat-makers would call "large." Whatever you call it, the size is big enough so that my two Newfoundland dogs can chew on them rather than swallowing them whole after a quick tasting. The bones have a fresh-cooked bacon odor, which the Newfs great with enthusiasm. Every morning starts with two each. If I try to get away with one, I get woofed at. :-) With 25 bones in a package, they last a week for me, making them a reasonable price for treats my dogs enjoy.

This product is absolutely great. I have used it for my dogs. For years. I give them one daily, and it has actually improved their dental health and took the tartar off their teeth. They come in different sizes, which is perfect for the dogs. They are a quality product and easy to digest. For the dogs does not upset their stomach, which i've experienced in the past with other products. You can reseal the package to keep them fresh. Good value for the money.

my dogs love these. I use them every day for them so that they clean their teeth and freshen their breath. Seeing as how I can’t brush your teeth they won’t let me or anyone else in that matter it’s a great product for the amount of dental bones for them to chew and price and I have four dogs

A flavorful treat that is actually good for dogs. A much better value than greenies for dental health but are of a hard consistency.

Click to play video Our yorkiepoo has been loving these bones! For here size, these bones have given her the perfect amount of chewing time. I originally bought them for plaque build-up. It’s too early to notice changes, but love the ridge design to help clean her teeth. There has been a slight improvement in her doggy breath as well…bonus! Lol

Out of some those more expensive brands, this is my dogs favorite. They do not smell bad like most and I have gone through several brands before these. The quality to me is great and almost close to the ones my dog used to get a prescription for from his vet. My dog has no issue with chewing and every vet visit, I get compliments on my dogs teeth and we have been using these for the last 3 years. These definitely leave my dogs breathe smelling better.

My dogs love these. 3/4 of them get these in a size appropriate chew and go nuts when I ask if they want one (the other is allergic and gets a hypoallergenic alternative). The fresh mint scent is a nice touch, but not a deal breaker for me either. The girls get an appropriate amount of chew time with these. The best part of these are they are VOHC (veterinary oral health council) approved, meaning they voluntarily submitted themselves for testing to prove safety and effectiveness. They're also one of, if not the cheapest chew on the list. These aren't a replacement for routine dental care/cleaning at your vet, but they do help reduce the amount of tartar build up by at least 25-33% (VOHC minimum last I checked) to help improve oral health in the interim if brushing isn't realistic. The only drawback to these (which is true for any dental chew) is how calorically dense they are. Treats should be less than 10% of daily calories. On the smaller end of the size spectrum, this translates to a chew every other day instead of daily. Around 50 pounds is where you reach a point where these are appropriate for daily treats calorie wise. Again, this is true for every dental chew I've ever seen, so it's likely that the ingredients needed for decent chewing action are calorically dense and an alternative just hasn't been discovered yet.
