Minties are a staple in our house for our fur babies. They help fight plaque and tartar, freshen breath, and keep our pups’ chompers looking vet-approved. We started with our aging German Shepherd after the vet recommended dental scaling and he needed it. Two months of daily Minties later and Vet takes one look and says, “Never mind to the scaling.” Our 5-year-old Lab mix has been on them for years, and every vet visit is a gold star for oral health. My wife always stresses that they will be less sick and have a better life if their oral health is kept up. Less bacteria is better for their system. They are not here long enough so anything we can do to make their life better and hopefully be here longer we will do. The Medium size is good up to 60 lb dogs max (see picture) otherwise go large. For our lab Mix we bounce between medium and large. If we go with medium, we just do two a day. Large we do one per day. Not sure if there is a better benefit for chewing longer on the bigger size? They break apart and are not teeth killers like we heard Greenies or others might be. Pro tip - do not give them too many or there may be some adjustments and loose poop! Five stars from us! We keep them in a special jar by the food bowl! Get them on auto ship!

I’ve been using Minties Dental Chews for my dog, Rocky, for a few weeks now, and he absolutely loves them! While the ingredients aren’t all natural, the chews still offer a great way to freshen his breath and help with his dental hygiene. The inclusion of peppermint oil, parsley, and fennel seems to really help with his breath, and I’ve noticed his teeth looking a little cleaner after using them regularly. The texture is firm enough for Rocky to enjoy chewing, but not so tough that it could hurt his teeth. The treats are also easy on his sensitive stomach, which is always a relief. Each chew is a good size, providing enough challenge to clean his teeth while still being enjoyable for him. The added vitamins, like Vitamin D3, give me peace of mind knowing he’s getting some extra nutrients as well. While not made with completely natural ingredients, I still find Minties Dental Chews to be a worthwhile addition to Rocky’s routine. They’re tasty, effective, and he really enjoys them, so I’ll definitely be sticking with them.

These have been my go-to daily dental chews for my Chihuahua mix for quite awhile now, and we both love them. My much larger dogs also enjoy the large size chews every other day, but their dental health has been easier to manage than my little one's tiny mouth. She's almost 14 now and has had NO tooth loss (naturally or via extraction when she received her first formal cleaning two years ago), and she's never had periodontal disease or much plaque buildup. A daily regimen of Minties for your small dog is much cheaper than regular dental cleanings at your veterinarian, and it makes them much happier to have a daily snack than having their teeth brushed manually. There are plenty of other dental treats on the market, but these are the best value for the results that I've found in a long time, and my veterinarian continues to be impressed at every check-up.

The puppy liked not loved it, and it kept her busy a long time. She wasn't crazy about the taste and rejected it the first time it was offered. Eventually she started chewing on it and ate the whole thing. Because of this I won't be buying it again. It does make her breath smell better, and kept a teething puppy busy for most of an hour unlike other brands I've tried that she could devour in a few minutes.

My fur baby absolutely loves these! She gets 1 a day...and looks forward to this special treat everyday! She demands it...and lets me know when it is time to give it to her each day! I love how it really does clean her teeth...freshen her breath...AND aids in her digestion! Her breath was terrible before these -- and now it is sooooo much better! They are just as good (if not better) than the very popular name brand...at a fraction of the cost! They really work in helping to minimize doggie bad breath! Will continue to purchase for my girl!

I have two cats that have very different personalities and very different food preferences as well. My one cat is very picky and only eats certain treats and food, but my cats absolutely love the treats. I love the fact that not only do they love them, but they have clean ingredients and that they’re actually doing something for my cats like helping clean their teeth. I definitely recommend this for all cat lovers.

So far my dogs both seem to be more or less disappointed with these every time they get one. They do eat them, but they take quite a while to first break them into pieces and drop the pieces on the ground before eating them… very slowly. Often they look around a few times during the process, and have wandered off from them before coming back to them. I have not experienced this behavior with any other treat, food or other consumable. I am really quite surprised. I bought quite a few of them as a test, and I’m hoping they get a little more enthusiastic about them. I have two very different dogs, one very small and one on the medium size of large. That they both behave like this is unusual. I am hoping that this is a getting used to it thing. The treats themselves smell very nice and minty, they seem very fresh and their consistency is firm, but not hard. I hope to update this later with good results, after they get used to them.

I have been ordering these treats regularly for the past 2 months. These are the best dental treats that are breath fresheners out there. My 2 cats' breath did improve whenever I fed them these treats without combining them with other treats. My cats love these so it's been great. One thing to note is that these treats are very hard so make sure your cat can handle hard treats. The other downside is that these are on the pricey side. I hope this business thrives and continues so my cats can keep having these high quality treats with a breath-freshening benefit.
