It's good but but not what I expected

This was my first time doing any kind of photo transfer after watching lots of videos on YouTube for courage and I think it came out great. Wanted this for my baby’s Star Wars themed nursery but buying the art on canvas would have been way too expensive so I decided to test my hand at this DIY project and only bought the digital images on Etsy. Now don’t get me wrong, it took me two days to finish this entire project and I did mess up on the first try, but determination made it all worth it. Just take your time when removing the paper, slow and stead wins the race. I used a misting bottle and my fingers, tried other methods but that seemed to work the best at not leaving residue since I could feel it a lot better than with a sponge. And sometimes you have to wait for it to dry to see what you missed, so don’t be afraid to go back in there for round 2 or even 3. I didn’t have the patience to wait overnight for it dry though, I used a blow dryer in a box (placed the canvas inside a big Amazon box and made a hole on top where the blow dryer nozzle fit through and left it on high heat low air for 10 minutes and then let it cool down and finish drying for 30 more minutes) and it seems to do the trick just fine. Did speed my process by a lot. And finally I topped it off with two layers of mod podge glassy finish. All in all, this product worked great!

The Modge Podge Photo Transfer seemed a little thick to me but I really had nothing to compare it with. I figured I give it a try it and see the out come of my project. It worked well and I have no complaints. I made ornaments with black and white laser print photos. I watched an online video on how to do this.

I looked up a YouTube video and it's really easy to use, you can even paint on it after it's fully dry. Cheapest price I could find too. It's nice and thick and definitely the real stuff, I was worried it was a knock off but works great.

This stuff is amazing! I used it to transfer a picture of each of my students onto a canvas board and then they did some other designs on them, the students were pleased with the results and it was a great teaching lesson.

I kept trying for about a week until I got it perfect. My mistakes were 1-not letting it dry sufficiently, I suggest at least 24 hrs, 2-best not to let any get on back of photo as hard to. take off without removing that part of image, 3-soak it well in water until paper saturated, soggy and fragile. Otherwise removing paper will remove part of image. Also I find it best to rub gently with a few finger to remove paper, let it dry and see if any small bits of paper remain (image will look foggy) so apply more water and gently rub rest of paper off., sometimes takes 3-4 tries Major problem was rubbing with any cloth would remove bits of photo. I suggest not peeling off paper, rather soak it and gently rub off. If anyone has better way, I'm all ears!! Also larger photos are harder to get down without air bubbles, paper rolling etc so I try and keep photos less than 5x7.

Good quality photo transfer medium, works fast. Delivery via Amazon Global was fast. Make sure you use dry toner printers only to print the photos. This does not work for regular photo prints on Kodak paper etc.
