We bought this mold test kit after noticing a musty smell coming from one of our HVAC vents. We followed the simple instructions and placed one of the test plates near the vent overnight. A few days later, we saw growth on the plate that matched one of the mold types listed in the guide. The product and service are excellent. Included is a booklet with clear instructions on how to use it. The steps on how to use it at your home are clear and well done. Then they provide pictures of what to look for and how to mitigate and clean should mold be found. The booklet is well written, pictures are in color, and recommendations make it easy to know how to treat it. Should you have questions on how to interpret the images, send them your pictures. Within 24 hours, they sent us a detailed analysis of all of our pictures in a well made report. I can't say enough nice things about this company. If you are concerned about mold, buy this product. It will give you piece of mind or at least a way to clear up the mold.

Instructions were easy to follow and product worked as described. We did swabs on surfaces and also air samples. Most of our air sample were good (may be because e have good HVAC air filters and air purifiers in our home. BU, most of the swabs of counters and bathrooms came back with quite a bit of mold growth. Not severe compared to a test sample we did of the outside but enough to work on addressing the problem and cleaning surfaces better. The lab was very quick to reply (next day) with their identification and assessment of the photos we sent of the mold cultures. Great customer service.

This is a very quick and reliable mold kit source. Very simple to use and effective. It takes about two days until you start seeing results so be patient and read the instructions in how to use it, which is very simple. But after the second day, you will start to see the mold growing more…you can send the pictures to an Email that they provide to get results. I got results back pretty much within the same day. They are very knowledgeable! I learned that there are very common molds in your home. But they are honest and efficient. I would definitely buy this again. We have actually had a home service mold specialist come and they charge astronomical prices. I think this is perfect enough to do the job.

Comes with 2 vacuum sealed packages of 6 tests, so 12 tests total. Also comes with plastic disposable gloves, swabs, plastic zip top bags, and labels. Easy instructions on how to safely test air, vents, and surfaces, and also how to safely dispose of your tests afterwards. Comes with a booklet of mold pictures and how to interpret your results, but the pictures in the book are not very colorful or detailed, so I had trouble using the book for results interpretation. HOWEVER, this is where the best part comes in: the customer service. The book provides an email address that you can send pictures to and they will interpret your results for you for no extra charge. You can also ask *basic* questions and they will respond. They get back to you very quickly. I sent a total of 3 emails and they got back to me within 24 hours on all 3. Unfortunately 2 of my agar dishes were cracked when I received them, but I am not subtracting any stars for that due to the fact that I was so impressed with the customer service. I ordered another box of 12 tests for my sisters to test their homes.

The mold kit arrived promptly, well packaged, and easy to use. The kit has sufficient petri dishes packaged in two separate bundles (6 each) in the 12-piece kit for individual uses. I was mainly concerned with airborne mold, so I set up six total Petri dishes in each room within the house: bathroom, bedroom, two offices, and the laundry room. After following directions and leaving the Petri dishes in each room for an hour, I packaged them with the included sealable bags and labels and left them to incubate for three days. The kit helped to identify that two of the rooms had airborne mold. I could identify the mold using the provided mold identification guide; however, I wasn't confident since some looked similar. I sent an email to the email provided in the mold identification guide and received a prompt response, including the identification analysis. I had further questions regarding the mold, and the company quickly responded with their insights and provided guidance on addressing them. I will use the remaining six Petri dishes I still have sealed from the same kit for additional testing and recommend this product from this company.

This was the first time I've tested for mold in the house and I wasn't sure what to expect. i needn't have worried as the kit was very easy to use. The booklet/guide supplied with test kit (petri dishes) was excellent and easy to understand. I had to ask for help, though, as I couldn't identify all the mold in the petri dishes so contacted the company asking for help and included photos of the molds. I was delighted to get a reply next day with a brilliant and detailed report, explaining what the molds were etc. What a fantastic service!! I hope to do some repeat tests in the future and can highly recommend this product.

This kit is super easy to use. We put out the petrie dishes and within 5 days we had very clear samples of different types of mold found in various locations throughout our home. A technician from Kayenqo was very prompt in replying to our request to help identify the types of mold that grew on the petrie dishes. The technician sent a comprehensive Mold Analysis Report and even answered follow up questions. We highly recommend this product if you are at all unsure whether mold is growing in your house!

This definetly works and if you suspect mold its a very easy and affordable way to prove it and make your mold removal plan. It took me about a week to get these results, I think it depends on the temperature so don't worry if you don't see the results in 2-4 days (day 4 I started seeing little mold growing) Nora from the customer support gave me a report on what type of mold we are delaing with in less than 5 hours, super fast!
