I have just received my book. I immediately looked through it. It is so well organized and leads you through the things that you would care to share with your family and things you probably did to think about. I plan on having mine all filled out by next Christmas and it will be something that will go on for many years. I also hope that my family picks up information about my family before they came not he scene. This is a very thoughtful gift for a mom or dad. I don’t think our children absorb half of the stories we tell them about our childhood,, events in our lives, etc. These self guided books allow our children to review things we said they didn’t remember or even things they never knew about. Bought this as a supplementary gift for my mom for Christmas . She opened it early (as we live in different states ) and started reading some of the questions and felt quite emotional about it - in a good way ! It's really lovely and has some great questions and prompts that you might not think of, had to change a few of the words as it's American but overall really pleased with it and hoping my daughter will enjoy the read when she's older.
