I'm really loving this journal. This journal is something that I get to fill out with sharing my thoughts and memories and I can letter, years from now gift it to my child. We often hear stories about our parents from others but there's something special when you hear those stories from your parent themself. This is allowing me to do that, giving my kid a future insight in who I am beyond being "mom" I find this to be such a beautiful sentiment. I like the this is broken into different era's of my life like childhood, early adult years, and fun facts. I'm enjoying filling this out as I see fit. The journal itself is made of good quality. It's a hard cover book with thick pages. So far the pen I use doesn't bleed or smudge through the pages. The prompts provided are simple to understand and can get a complex response.

This is a very nice hardcover book for sharing memories. The cover is a canvas-like material and the paper is rather sturdy. It arrives in a nice box which makes it presentable for gifting. The pages are spilt into sections on birth, early years, childhood, teen years, and adult years with similar questions repeated where appropriate through the years. There is ample room for you to include you own stories in the notes section at the end of section. My particular favorite was the random questions asked at the end such as how to enjoy eggs at breakfast. I wished it actually had more random questions because i find those are the difficult ones to think of when trying to pick things to write down to share with my children. I am enjoying filling this book out for my kids.

Measurement wise this is not the size of standard notebook paper, it is a little smaller. It is very high quality linen covered. And it has a lot of detailed prompts to help you fill it out. It does also have plenty of "notes" pages that you can write whatever you want to in each "section" (by section, one example is childhood). I like this one over other books like this that have fewer more vague prompts, because it will be a bit more guided and help me to actually write stuff. I personally struggle to think of what to write when the prompt is vague and gives me too many thoughts and memories to sort through. This is very good quality. It comes in a little well made cardboard gift box too. I really like this Mom Journal.

Never thought to tell my story till I came across this and now I’m can’t wait to pass it on to my kids. Maybe it’ll teach them a lesson, maybe they’ll discover something they never knew about me, or maybe it’ll remind them how much I love them and always will. Either way, they’ll at least know it. I like that this journal has prompts to help you along too! The linen is a really nice look as well.

This journal has a lot of thought provoking questions for a mom to reflect on and write about. It is presented very well in a nice small box which is great for gifting. I like that there are a lot of prompts, but also some pages to just write freely as well since sometimes there may not be enough space under some prompts. I feel like the majority of the prompts were great, but one that I feel out of place was the question "are you a good kisser?". It just felt like it was unimportant and not like something many people would care to write about. Other than that it is a very well made and thoughtful journal.

This journal is so amazing for moms or soon to ber moms.Just a journal with prompts on each page to get you to reflext on yourself and your life and take a few moments each day to remanence in your past and future and enjoy and app[recioate yourself and your lifes journey! I noticed this book is not just for mothers but fathers and grandparents so legacies and journeys and memories never have to go away forever but instead be past down to each generation. One of the best guifts I know i EVER would be given and definitely priceless.

Just great gift for a mom. It is great because they get to write their story. their truth in their own words. I am a phenomonlogist interviewer and having the written word of a person in the own perspective on their life is so key to getting to the truth. This could be a built in journal for a parent, a gift for a new parent, a gift from a child to a parent, or to a client or coworker. Its a very good size. It is a great quality exterior cover material. It looks great and best of all it gives the individual author some prompts to help them fill it in.

Love the linen cover, makes it looks stylish. Definitely giftable. Provides prompts for different life stages with note sections too. Doesn’t provide for super long responses, so it dots not like writing a novel of one’s life. Great for moms to gift to their children later in lefe and for generations to come. If you have someone in your family who acts as the family history buff or keeps family records, this would be a nice addition.

I’ve seen journals like this gaining popularity online and always thought the idea was beautiful—but this one stands out in both presentation and content. It’s a memory book designed to help mothers capture their stories, values, and life experiences through more than 250 thoughtful prompts. The questions range from childhood recollections to relationship advice, and even lighter things like fun facts or favorite traditions. It feels like having a gentle, guided conversation with someone you love. The design is lovely and gift-worthy: a textured cream linen hardcover, a satin ribbon bookmark, and it arrives in a sturdy box that not only protects it during shipping but makes the presentation feel extra special. The quality is excellent overall—no dents, smudges, or misprints, and the cover feels durable enough to last through years of handling. One of the things I most appreciate is how the prompts are divided into meaningful sections like “Family Tree,” “Life Lessons,” “Childhood Memories,” and “Personal Reflections.” It makes the journal easy to approach without being overwhelming. Yes, there are a few prompts that could benefit from more writing space, especially for longer answers like travel histories or family traditions—but there are plenty of blank note pages scattered throughout to add in extras as needed. I’m gifting this to my mom for Mother’s Day, and I told her it’s her “homework assignment”—but really, it’s a gift for both of us. One day, I hope to read the finished book and pass it along to the next generation. It's a keepsake that will become more valuable over time. If you're looking for something truly meaningful to give or to create for your own children, this is a wonderful choice. I’m so glad I came across it—it’s both a heartfelt project and a beautiful object in itself.

Beautiful memory book. I got one that I have been filling in with the memories I have of my mum. I saw this and thought I would do the same for myself. The pages are not thick. The book is hardback; it has interesting questions. It's a good keepsake. I like to ramble. I like bringing up the past and the many, many good times I had when my family was around. I like to just try and lift my mood. I haven't really got anyone to hand this down to. But I do wish for my ashes to be kept in an urn next to my mum's and hopefully luck will finally come my way. In a gorgeous house in a warm country. I live in Northern Ireland at the moment, so pretty much anywhere is warmer all year round. The pages are a bit thin, the questions are intriguing, and I am having fun remembering the past. I wish I could go back to the past and relive some of the memories; it would be so wonderful.

I've always wanted to write down some important facts/memories/anecdotes and give it to my son. Right now he's young but I feel like it would make a great gift/keepsake that he will cherish later in life. This book is great because it helps you do just that and it's very helpful because it guides you on what to say & write down thanks to 250 questions/prompts/suggestions. Having those prompts/questions is great it gives you direction on what to write about and there's many good ones that I hadn't thought about. There's a few questions that are similar, but overall they are diverse. There's also plenty of blank "notes" pages scatter all over the book to add things that might not be included in the prompts. I found that the space giving to some of the questions was short/limited for example one asks you to list all the places you've travelled to and gives you 4 lines. For some it might be enough for others not so much. Other questions have a full page when I feel like it could of been shorter like the one that asks if you support any charities. The cover is nice and sturdy, but the quality of the pages/paper could of been better. I find the paper a bit thin and with some types of pen the ink could bleed. I honestly love this book & without it I probably would have never taken the time to do it myself. It has been a fun & emotional process but I'm happy to have done it and can't wait to for my son to be old enough to appreciate it.

This is a lovely keepsake journal - I got the one for "Mom's Story". As the spelling in the title gives away, this book appears to be written in American English. While not a deal breaker for us, it may be something to keep in mind for particular relatives. For instance, some questions talk about "favorites", and ask about "candy" etc. The cover is really well made, with a cloth-like feel: it's very classy. The book interior isn't quite as impressive if I'm being honest. However, there are lots of questions here, split across topics like grandparents, siblings, values, self reflection etc. It's a really great way to pass on family knowledge, and to remember relatives or learn more about them or "the old days" (lol). The paper is a little thin, and some of the questions seem quite introspective but don't then give much room to answer: your favourite quote, for instance. Towards the back, some questions seem a bit random / space filler-ish. Allergies is tucked away as a fun fact, which made us chuckle. That's a bit of a nit pick, though. Overall this is a nice idea, full of prompts to help you catch those memories. Especially nice to have a family tree outline to fill in as well.

Wow what a great book to give any mom for a special occassion. The book is beautifully packaged and very elegant looking. The first page has a poem written about a Family Heirloom and how precious this book is, which is so very true. The second page has a spot for a photo and the full name, date of birth, place of birth, and the weight at birth. Two pages are all about the ancestry/family tree, and many pages with a lot of questions that we sometimes never think to ask our mom about her youth and her family. The questions are such well thought out and important to us especially as we become older. Sometimes you wonder why you never asked about certain things as a child. Lots or room for notes as well for you or mom to write in. Overall this book is awesome and well worth the money about shared memories, life lesson and many questions about things you never new about mom!
