Needed this to attach to my husbands phone and to his earphones.

Worked fine at first but the cable between the plugs is incredibly thin with no real strain relief. Within a few weeks of use it's cutting if the cable is at some angles or has the wrong pressure on it.

I've been using this to connect my wired headphones to my Pixel 2 XL. The first thing I noticed about this was that the cord itself feels flimsy and thin. When I plugged my headphones into the 3.5mm input, the fit was loose. When using it over the last month, I found that my headphones regularly pulled out of the jack while I was walking. This was frustrating, but I could live with it. About three weeks into using this adapter, something started to go wrong. I'd be listing to something, and suddenly my headphones would emit an ear-shatteringly loud amount of white noise; the wires had clearly come loose. Wiggling the adapter, I found that the problem was in the connection between USB-C male connector and the rest of the wire. I love Monoprice, and they are easily the first recommendation I give anyone needing cables. Other offerings of theirs are some of the most durable cables I've owned. This connector doesn't match the quality I associate with the brand, to the point where I wouldn't be surprised if this was some other group knocking off their brand.

I know these break pretty quick so I built a splint for it when I first got it to keep it from bending IT STILL BROKE

This adapter feels flimsy, the wire feels weak. The worst part is that the USB-C part is too large, it won’t fit my iPad Pro because the case I use has material near the hole. They didn’t test this on various cases did they?

These even feel cheap. The cable is so narrow and flimsy that it's hard to believe that there's even a wire encased within. Long story short, bought two of these at once and both went bad within weeks. They "broke" at the same point - where the wire connects to the USB plug. Bad connection = no sound. When they did work, the volume was noticeably lower than others that I've tried. Just pass on these and spend a little more.

This worked great for about 6 months and then it began to produce static and then no longer worked unless you moved the cable a certain way. Wish it was more durable as it worked very well when it worked.

The cable is thinner than I'd like. I would tolerate that, but while my headphones work, the microphone on my headphones do not with this adapter. This kind of renders it useless for me as I wanted to make phone calls.

El dispositivo funciona. Solo que tiene sonidos como de interferencia cuando se inicia el uso y es un poco molesto.
