I was doing a small job in my house where I only needed to run 4 cables throughout my 2 story house but I wanted SOLID copper and a decent gauge handle POE safely. 250 feet was the perfect amount I needed and it came bulk! Every other manufacturer had 500-1000 feet minimum in bulk cable for double or triple the price. Terminating this cable is a breeze using Monoprice boots and RJ45 jacks. The cable seems durable and was pulled pretty easily through insulation filled walls. It’s also nicely flexible without feeling un-bendable like CAT6A.

I’ve run a lot of Cat6 cable in my house, and this is the best by far. The outer sheath is heavy duty, but flexible. The twisted pairs are also much more flexible than others I’ve used, and easier to untwist and straighten out. Also a very nice inner core which is also flexible and provides extra strength and insulation between the pairs. This is the only cable I will buy from now on if I ever use all 250 ft

Don't buy cheap cable. This cable is solid copper core and works great with POE cameras. The only thing I messed up on was using Cat5E jacks with this cable as I found out there were connectivity issues using the pass-through Cat5E jacks on this CAT6 cable. Once I fixed the jacks to CAT6 jacks, I had no issues. I won't buy other cable brands.

I used this to run ethernet through my century old home and it performed well. A lot of rough turns and tight fits and the cable withstood a lot of rough travel, The pairs are soft to the touch and easy to punch down and crimp when needed. All the runs validated with acceptable speeds and minimal loss.

I’m using this for patch cables from my patch panel to switch, every cable I’ve made seems to be working perfectly with no faults. It’s a bit of a pain straightening out the wires for the connectors to crimp but that’s just how stranded cable is. Anyway mine came as a cardboard spool, would’ve been nice if it was in a box but that’s minor details that don’t detract from the actual quality of the product.

I used this to wire up a new wireless access point and some cameras. The wire is good quality and easy to use, but the packaging is NOT a pull box - it's a spool inside the box. I made a make-shift spool hanger to make it easy to run, but I was looking for a pull box packaging. Wifi speeds are fantastic and cameras work. I crimped a few ends in some cases and that was painless. Punch-down ends also work well.

This is the WORST cable I've seen in almost twenty years of dealing with ethernet cable. I'd rather have some CAT3 cable than this junk. Simply put, the cable is so thin and cheap it's flimsy. It's very difficult to pull the wires straight since they limp back into a curved shaped as soon as you let go of the wires. And, worse yet, trying to get the wires in proper order into an RJ45 feels like trying to terminate spaghetti noodles. I was literally able to make a regular cable on my own faster than two experienced guys trying to make a cable. So if you want plenty of frustration and tons of wasted time at work, then this is the cable for you.

These were a tiny bit stiffer than some of the pre-made ones I've purchased, it was a bit annoying to get the sort of spiral length they had by sitting inside a box for a long time straight without permanently sticking it on to something. The twisted pairs itself were also a bit stiff but not much of a problem when using load bars. I've had no problems with the patch cables I've made so far (reached gigabit speeds, no packet loss (over 30m) or signal degradation) so I'm happy! It comes in a nice pull out box which the cables might get stuck in without some more force but that has never damaged the cables and a table where you can record wire usage which was a nice touch!

I am a DIY guy and not a professional but this was great cable to work with and it always seems to be well priced. Pulls easy does not tangle badly and it is pure copper. 24 gauge stranded wire is easy to punch down as well as using RJ45 connectors.

Nice cable at a good price. I have run about 100 feet of it through my house to interconnect rooms and have made some smaller cables as well. The centre plastic keeps the pairs nicely separated yet does not make the cable rigid. I have always preferred stranded cable over solid because it makes more consistent contact, especially if you are moving the cable around. If you are putting the cable into a wall or floor I suppose solid cable is fine, but myself I use stranded cable for everything.

Great cable, easy to work with. It comes off the spool nicely, doesn't tangle and was very easy to run the lines and cap the ends with the Cable Matters Cat6 RJ45 Keystone Jack 25 Pieces that I also purchased. Highly recommended if you want to wire your home/business with quality, gigabit-capable network cable.
