I've had a number of TV stands from Monoprice, but this is my first monitor stand. It's extremely well made and was fairly easy to set up. I have a desk with a back and no lip, so I opted to drill a hole. The M8x1.25 bolt fits nice and snug through a 5/16" hole. However, since I wanted to put this as close to the back edge of the desk as possible, I couldn't use the large hand-tighten nut - there wasn't enough clearance (see picture). A quick run to the hardware store for an appropriately sized nut and lock washer solved that problem, but it would be nice if they'd include this hardware in the box. One of my monitors had relatively shallow holes for the VESA mounting screws, so I also had to use some random 3/16" nuts I had lying around as impromptu spacers so I could get the monitor mounted snugly to the plate. However, Monoprice already supply two sizes of screws as well as a set of washers for each plate, so I think they're doing fine in this department. Some monitors come with VESA screws already anyway. Those are only things I could complain about, and I resolved them with less than a dollar's worth of parts from the hardware store. One arm is holding up a beefy older 24" that weights 22lbs without issue (that's more than it's specced for) and the other is holding up a newer 27". Both required some cranking on the adjustment nut to increase the spring force, but I had no issue turning it. Ask a friend with stronger hands or loosen it up a bit by turning it back and forth. The tilt adjuster needs to be tightened like a normal bolt for most monitors so they don't tip forward, but that was also easily done with the supplied Allen key. Note, if you want one of the monitors to be centered on your desk, you'll need to mount this slightly off-center. But you can get pretty close by skewing both arms to the side like I did. PROS: +Extremely sturdy - overbuilt and can handle monitors heavier than the rated weight +Professional, understated look +Very stable with thru-desk mounting, only requires one hole to be drilled +Highly adjustable, though monitor arms will protrude past the back of desk in some configurations +Large variety of hardware included to mount in different ways +Just unbelievably priced - this punches at more than 2x its MSRP +Easy to use cable routing with room for 4+ cables in each path (I have DP, mini DP, power, and 2 USB cables running in one and it's crowded but not difficult to get the covers back on) CONS -Slightly tricky installation depending on your monitors and desk -Some hardware that might help with the above issues is not included -No thru-desk cable routing if that's a concern (it wasn't for me)

I got these arms assembled, adjusted and setup in about a couple hours. Figuring out my cable management was the most time consuming part - assemble and install of the arms and monitors was maybe only 30 mins total. They’re sturdy and look nice. The plastic covers for cable management are flimsy and I wish they had a bit more room in them but for the price this is passable! Really happy with the look. Those are two 27” Dell U2720QM displays for reference. Arms are holding without issue and easily adjust. Note: The instructions don’t remind you to provide slack for cables when covering them up, so be careful. You’ll need slack when adjusting the arms. I wasn’t paying attention and broke an HDMI cable. This has nothing to do with the design of the product - I ran the cable far too tight and it bent at the monitor input. Swapped cables and added slack and all is great now!

I had two old 22 inch 16:10 LCD monitors that were fairly heavy (roughly 15lbs), and this mount would have been perfect for them. Unfortunately, one of them died, so I had to purchase a new monitor. I picked up an Ultrawide 30-inch SCEPTRE monitor (C305B-200UN) to replace one of the old panels.... This mount works perfectly for this monitor as well. I'm not sure if could buy another 30-inch ultrawide and fit it NEXT to the current 30-inch, but I'm willing to try... I'll update the review if/when I do. Honestly, though. This is a great mount. Super sturdy, heavy, descent cable management feature, and worth every penny. I would definitely recommend this to friends & family members looking for a multi-monitor mount.

Dude, this is a serious mounting system. Heavy-duty, easy to install but ladies be ready for a little arm work-out navigating - it is heavy. I have two monitors, LG 34" and HP 27", back to back for client viewing and it works perfectly. The under-arm adapters used to hide the cords are a little tricky but the engineering is solid on this unit, and quiet. Highly recommend for larger monitors. Note: you will need to adjust the arms at the elbow for larger screens to prevent "dropping" - at first the 34" LG fell pretty quickly but a few turns of the elbow screw and it stabilized where I wanted it.

I bought these because of the monoprice brand despite being fearful that the arms would not hold up my 24" monitors because of the reviews. But the arms DO stay up, you just have to crank up the resistance on the arms. First, crank them until they raise to the highest position on their own, then crank it some more. And some more. And some more. You should be feeling increased resistance from the arms every time you give it a good crank. Eventually you'll reach the point where the arms will hold the weight of the monitors but also still adjust easily. The only downside to these that I didn't realized before I purchased is that unless you have a deep desk or plenty of space behind the desk for the arms, it's pretty much impossible to put these in a position where the monitors are not 3 inches from your face. My solution was to put the stand way to the side on my desk to get them at the right depth. As for the quality of the product, they live up to the monoprice brand and are a great deal- high quality for a reasonable price.

Good: The assembly was easy, the height adjustments work great, build quality is nice and it’s versatile for portrait or landscape setup. Downside: It struggles to keep the larger monitor straight-there’s a slight tilt mo matter how tight you tighten the flexing nut. Moving larger monitor takes some effort since it’s not holding it properly. Overall, works fine but keep in mind it does not sit flat so have some space at the back of your desk.

Does its job really well. Took a bit of time to figure out how to adjust and lock every direction especially up-down (heavy screens were falling down), manual included didn’t really help, had to watch several YouTube videos. Holds 27in screens still for months. Not the most “fancy” - aesthetically pleasing - look, and doesn’t make the wires completely disappear, but hides and organises them very well. If the screens are backed to the wall - will not even notice all above.

I have both the triple and dual versions of this Monoprice monitor mount. The build quality is above average when compared with most similar products. The only way you can (possibly) get something better is by spending at least twice as much money. At this price, this product is basically unbeatable. Both the triple and dual mounts have been installed in my office for several months (1 year+ for the triple) and there's been zero issues. I will say that my original triple had a broken piece (small plastic part) but the replacement eventually got here and everything has been fine since then. I would have preferred if the triple had the same darker paint job as the dual I received more recently. I'd say my triple is more like dark gray instead of black. It's really not that big of a deal. If you're looking for a product that looks and feels professional (no branding, great build quality) you should definitely consider purchasing this one. On the other hand, if you're willing to install your precious monitors on cheap mounts with awful build quality, there's plenty of other products available - it's your choice.

Before buying this arm mount I had bought another one from another brand for around 100$ and was disappointed. The movement was very stiff and the material was of poor quality. I sent it back and bought this one. For 50$, these are of much better quality and the range of movement is very good and very flexible. It is also very easy to assemble and came into a box in very good condition. If you are looking for an arm mount of good quality without paying more than 200$, this is for you.

So far, so good. Actually holds my 27” monitor securely.
