· Dynamic HDR: Dynamic HDR ensures every moment of a video is displayed at its ideal values for depth, detail, brightness, contrast, and wider color gamuts, optimized on a scene-by-scene or even a frame-by-frame basis. · Supports 8K@60Hz: 8K@60Hz resolution means a more immersive viewing experience with sharper high speed content. The resulting ultra fast and sharp images are great for sports, high performance gaming, and VR. · eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel): eARC supports the most advanced audio formats, such as object-based audio, which provides an immersive multidimensional experience. The enhanced audio detail and depth can position audio events from movie soundtracks in 3D space. · The high bandwidth and extended video resolution enables gaming consoles, PCs, laptops, PC monitors, VR gear, and UHD TVs to support the most advanced extreme gaming features, including support for AMD FreeSync on PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X.

I recently updated the HDMI cable for my Master bedroom TV. I decided to buy the Monoprice 8K HDMI cable for its good reputation and its even better price. I can say that I see a very nice improvement in the colors and resolution that I see on the TV (a mid-priced QLED TV) now. The cable is a little on the thick side but that did not impair my putting it "through" the wall from a closet to the other side (it was not fished along inside the wall). I strongly recommend the Monoprice brand of 8K HDMI cables. If you have long cable runs of more that 15-20 feet I would recommend using an active fiberoptic HDMI cable. You won't be disappointed.

The cable comes in a slim package and works excellently out of the box. I was able to send 4k60 HDR video with 10.1 surround sound flawlessly through it. It is far better than any of the countless other cables I have purchased here and elsewhere, some of which were up to 3x the price! However, the contacts and the head are a tiny bit sensitive to strain while the cable is heavy. As a result, the picture will sometimes flicker or lose connection as a result of the connector bending from gravity - unless you lay the cable such that it is well supported by some cable ties or a surface upon which to rest. All in all an excellent product which could use some minor improvements on future revisions.

I bought several of these and they look well made. All work perfectly so far at 4k 60Hz. On sale they were a great chance to upgrade old generic HDMI cables that I have used since the 720P and 1080i era. They are a heavier and thicker cable but that is not a problem for my application. The heavier and thicker cable might be more durable.

New 4k TV would not work using our old HDMI cables. These fixed the speed problem.

I bought 2 of these cables for my new 77” OLED TV and sound bar. Since the sound bar came with a cable I used that one. Unfortunately I started to experience some pretty severe sound issues with my Sonos Arc. Once I switched to the Monoprice cable, the sound issue went away. What a relief!!

You do not have to spend a ton on cables like sales reps will tell you. Perfect picture and they have been certified so you can buy with confidence. Read other descriptions closely, some will say things like verified, which is just marketing spin.

Cable is too thick and stiff. For a lot of people this will make it visible and unattractive. Monoprice makes a quality product but a lot of people won't use this.

Using an RTX 3080 GPU and a LG CX television I am able to successfully get a 4k, 120hz, 10-bit, RGB (4:4:4), HDR picture, which is a 40Gbps signal. Gsync also working. I am using the 8 foot model, I heard for passive cables you can't go much longer than this for HDMI 2.1 which is probably why Monoprice maxes out at 8 feet for their passive HDMI 2.1 cables. I expect this will work fine with a Series X HDMI 2.1 as well, but it should come with a 6ft cable in the box so you may not need this for that.

I couldnt say for certain if this is AS good as official cables valued at 3-4 times the price (crazy), but there are many reviews that have tested with screenshots of results which is what i based my purchase on. So far i havent noticed anything wrong and everything seems good for my Xbox X which is spitting out 4k, dolby atmos and my preffered DTS-X as well as HDR10+ through to my connected 4k/8k amplifier and then to my TV. I also stream 4k UHD with dolby atmos with no issues and all my colours are as punchy as they seemingly should be. Fantastic.

Cables are extremely hard to bend. Keep this in mind if you need to connect them to a soundbar with little room to bend.
