I ordered this for my granddaughters based on a podcast listen and when it arrived I immediately ordered another. This simple, basic truth about God is so perfectly written for children and so beautifully illustrated, I wanted to share it with a friend who has recently become a foster parent.

Read this with my 1 year old tonight and she loved it. Did not move the entire story. The illustrations are beautiful and it’s the sweetest story for kids.

Another in a long line of children books to indoctrinate children into believing things that aren't true. Those of us who have actually read the bible know what God does. Genocide, judgement, punishment, and teaches us how slaves are to obey their masters. And of course, Hell. Yes, most of what God does is....never mind.

The genius of this book is its simplicity. Its theme is its title. Every page reminds the reader of that theme. Then it subtly shifts the focus from what God does for us to. what we should do for others. It sends this message so smoothly and sweetly that we joyfully absorb it without realizing it until we have finished the book.
