American made, and actually, really well! So online, this is a very highly reviewed mount and company, with good reason. The assembly, while taking a bit of time, is clearly laid out, and has ample guides to make wall placement easy. Screws, washers, and spacers are all provided, though you'll need your own socket wrench, drill, and screwdriver. Attached to studs in the wall, the whole base plate feels strong and secure, easily enough to handle the max rated 60kg (though our 65" flatscreen was only 20kg). The tilt is pretty low, at only 8 degrees, but that's the flip side of it fitting so close to wall - the mount itself is less than two inches out from the wall to the back of the TV! So if you want a more adjustable option, sure, this might not be perfect. But if you (as we did) put your TV in an area with higher traffic in your house, the close-in fit is paramount. And considering it was on sale for 29.99, it's amazing overall. Even at full price (sub $40) you're not going to see this quality without spending $50-60. Great value for money.

The very first things that impressed me on this TV mount was the price and the ultra fast delivery. But, seeing the product was a real wow! For our TV wall installation, I wanted to make certain that wall mount would include 24" on centers mounting-and it does. When opening the box, it was determined that was well made. It was also very simple to put together and mount to the wall. There is a small level included in the package. Previous experience has educated me that it is not sufficient for the task. What I do is locate the studs in the area I plan to do the mounting, then mark them with small pieces of masking tape at the height it will be mounted. I then take a finishing nail to locate the center of one stud. Proceeding to the next stud, I use a tape measure and another small piece of masking tape. Then measuring up from the floor or down from the ceiling, I use masking tape at the height chosen, the mark for the height on the tape. When the height and widths align, I again use a finishing nail to make certain it is on a stud. Checking all of the measurements for the last time, I drill the pilot holes at the top, drive in the lag screw and leave them slightly loose. The the bottom holes are drilled and lag screw inserted slightly loose. Then, making certain the mount is in the proper wall position, I seat each lag screw. The base plate of this mount is 25" and very solid in place. The Vesa spacing will allow for the TV to move either way off center to get the proper wall placement of the TV. The next step is the most important because you do not want to damage/destroy your TV. There are several different bolt lengths and spacers included for mounting the TV to the hangers. Select the proper bolts and spacers by hand tightening to get the proper depth, then securely attach the hangers to the TV. Without touching the screen, the TV and be positioned on the wall bracket. This is best done with two people. The angle can be set either before or after the TV is in place. Once the TV mounts are seated in the top track, the lower locking mechanisms can be lock it on the lower track. Note, there are stops on either end of the wall mount to If the TV is in the bedroom, the TV can be mounted high and the set tilted to the max 15 degrees. Depending on screen size, we calculate a large screen TV 7" from the ceiling to the top of the TV. Smaller screens 9"-10". When propped up in bed, the TV is positioned to alleviate eye strain and neck pain. We chose this mount for a 49" LED TV and there is no doubt it will hold up to the task.

People use to complain about Chinese quality, but as a picky engineer, this item is equivalent to the best I've seen in the USA or Germany. Sturdy, everything well packed, screws and such in a string of packets. Instructions were clear, and it was straightforward to mount it to the wall and TV. They provide a tiny bullet level - forget that and buy/borrow a decent 3+ foot level and get the top holes level. Turns out my wall was on 24" centers (not the normal 16"), not a problem the hole pattern worked fine. Not mentioned is that the release loops may be visible, I used blue tape to put them behind the TV. Also, I did not understand that horizontal centering is easy - you simply slide the TV on the mount. So if you hole it up to the wall, you can see were the range of movement is, and adjust which of the screw holes to use.

I initially contacted the seller for a recommendation for the most suitable bracket for my new TV and they suggested this one based on the technical specifications of my TV which they researched themselves. The bracket is very strong, sturdy and of great quality, particularly in comparison to others available. The kit comes with a whole range of screws and washers to suit so many different TVs which made finding one for my TV so easy. The bracket is also large enough to account for oddly placed studs but also able to have your TV still room centred if needed. The cherry on top was the price, there really is nothing comparably priced on the market, let alone of such great quality.

Excellent product at a great price, and it includes some freebies like an HDMI cable. This mount was very easy to install and leaves me feeling confident that it will not fall off. The instructions are very easy to follow and are well illustrated. This particular mount was used to mount a 65" TV on the wall and it appears that I could have mounted something even bigger. A generous assortment of hardware is included to ensure the bracket will work with a wide range of TVs. There are a couple (minor) downsides to this product, like everything else. The level included in the box was not accurate for me (or for many others it would appear, after reading other reviews). Not all is lost, however, as you can use your measuring tape to ensure this goes up as straight as an arrow. Here are some things I discovered while mounting this that may help you out: First, you need a drill to complete this installation, so make sure you have one handy. I was also going to use a stud finder, but the one I had kept going crazy whenever it got near me, so I used the old knock-the-wall method instead. Second, as mentioned before, the level is not accurate. The best way around this is to measure from a level surface on the wall used for mounting. I used my fireplace mantel, but you could use the ceiling too, as long as it is not lofted. The distance to each hole should be equal to your level object (for example, if the top left hole is 26" from the mantel, the top right hole must be exactly 26" from the mantel as well). Third, I wanted to mount this exactly 6" above the fireplace mantel. The manual doesn't describe how to make this measurement, though. You need to assemble the entire mount and put it on your TV on the floor. Then, measure the distance from the top hole of the mount to the bottom of your TV. From this measurement, add the distance you want your TV to be from the mantel and use that measurement on the wall. (Example, if the distance from the top hole to the bottom of your TV is 20", and you want the TV to be 6" from your mantel, measure 26" from your mantel and mark that as the top holes to be drilled).
