It’s not as fluffy as the picture shows. Also, when you return it, you have to supply the box. It was sent to me in an envelope. It cost $11+ to buy a box that’s big enough for the mat. Beware

We received our Muddy Mat dog bed today, 3/17/25. Upon removing the MM bed cover & foam insert from the compressed plastic shipping bag, the foam was at most ¼" thick, no where near the 1.8" that the ad claims. There were 2 huge ridges through the center vertically & horizontally, there weren't any instructions in the package or on the sales site, as to how to fluff up the bed/mat. I waited a little while to see if it would puff up some, yet it wasn't... so I first tried placing just the foam in a cool, fluff cycle dryer... no luck - so I finally tried putting the foam in a medium heat dryer for no more than 5 minutes AND thankfully the foam expanded to a little better thickness, however... I do not think that the foam thickness is as thick as it shows in several of the ad's pictures. Also, as someone else mentioned in the reviews, if I wanted to return this item, in order to prepare this MM item for return shipping, it would cost me to purchase a good-sized box, because there is no way for any person wanting to return the product, to put these mats back into the shrink-wrapped plastic that they are sent in. If boxes have to be purchased in order to send returns, then the original MM shipper should reimburse those people, that are truly unsatisfied with these products and having to purchase boxes in order to return the MM product in different packaging.

This mat has definitely made a difference. We have 3 dogs that run around the yard and have muddy paws when they come on. This mat made it so we have no more muddy paw prints on our wood floor. We bought the runner and 2 mats and they are worth it.

The bed & cover are fine but ... upon the first use of the zipper to remove the inner pad & wash the cover, the metal zipper head came right off & it's impossible to secure back on the nylon zipper. Now we are just using it without being able to zipper the cover closed. Plz , better quality for this price point!
