These earbuds are exactly what I was looking for. I use them for yard work and exercise, and wanted earbuds I could hang from my neck. Thanks to the reviewer above who stated she had been searching for a replacement for Skullcandy Ink’d earbuds, and after trying others finally found these. I was in the same boat, never finding any I liked after Ink’d were discontinued. These earbuds are easy to use, connect and function exact as expected with my Apple Watch, and have good sound for earbuds in this price range. I am very happy with them, and plan on buying another pair just to stick in a drawer for when these wear out.

I've been trying to find headphones to replace the Skullcandy Ink'd wireless headphones since they were discontinued. I used those for over a decade and I'm sad Skullcandy has discontinued them. I've tried a bunch of different headphones, but for a number of reasons I didn't like them. I've been using these TONEMAC N18 headphones for about 2 months now and they are a winner. I usualyl forget to write reviews but I'm so happy with these I want to, also in case anyone else is struggling to replace their Ink'd wireless. I'm going to do a TL;DR of pros and cons at the top with details below. Things I was looking for: TL;DR Pros: Neckband weight similar to Ink'd wireless, Cost is about the same, solid bass, controls are the same as ink'd wireless. Bonus pros: Super long battery life, USB-C charging. Can connect to two devices at a time. Cons: Like everyone said, cable length is long with no bands to adjust. Meckband is a little long (but I'm on the smaller side so these are probably perfect for someone bigger). Sometimes when I'm connected to two devices and I get a sound on the first one that connected, it doesn't switch to the second. Since I sometimes I Bluetooth turned on on up to four devices in a room at a time, it confused me at first. Easy to manage now that I know. Conclusion: I'm in love with these and so glad I found them. I look forward to many years with these headphones. ----------------------------------------------------- Neckband weight: I can't do the "true" wireless earbuds because 1) I'd lose them and 2) I'm allergic to nickel and have a reaction to them. So I need to have a neckband. Other headphones I've tried were either too light, so they slid off a lot, or they are pretty heavy (which I was kind of okay with if they worked well). These pretty much match the weight of the Ink'ed wireless. I will agree with other comments that the cables are a bit long and don't have that band that allows you to adjust the length. But honestly it's a small thing and can be fixed with a lightly tightened zip tie that is flush cut or something. I haven't done this yet. Cost: The Ink'd wireless were anywhere between $28 and $40. I had two pairs that I could switch on and off (mostly due to forgetting them or misplacing them). So every 3-5 years when an earbud died I'd purchase a new pair. At the time of this review I paid $26 for these. Bass: I don't need a lot of bass to be happy but I need a little, at least. Others I tried seemed to have zero or negative. Controls: I just need the basics. Volume up/down and one button for pause/play. You'd be surprised at a lack of controls. Also, one pair of headphones made you hold the plus/minus to change the volume. So it was impossible to adjust the volume slightly. Weird design choice. The tonemacs have the controls and behavior I want. Battery life: The advertised battery life is accurate on these. I've been superbly happy. I was fine with the 8 hours I was getting before but these are an improvement. Charging: Ideal but not needed was I wanted headphones with USB-C port for charging. It's getting more annoying to find micro-b cables. If you are thinking about buying these headphones, I seriously recommend them.

I've consistently used neckband headphones for extended periods (24-hour wear around my neck, multi-hour use), including models similar to this one, like the Amazon Choice brand "Lecefty." Pros: Immediately noticed a lighter, thinner design. Significantly more bass in the sound. Better Bluetooth range—I can walk much farther from my phone compared to the Lecefty brand. Stronger magnets, though I don't often clip them together. Cons: Battery life is noticeably shorter. These arrived fully charged (100%) on March 29th. I started using them that evening, and by March 31st, around the same time, they needed to be recharged. With the competitor brand, I could easily go a week, possibly two, without charging. It makes me wonder if these don't sense inactivity as well and fail to go into an idle mode. While it’s not a dealbreaker, I really enjoyed the convenience of less frequent charging. I may switch back for that reason, but the improved bass is tempting enough to reconsider.

I bought these about 9 months ago and the battery still has a lot of life, which in my experience is usually the first thing to go on headphones at this price point. I primarily use these as my nighttime headphones for sleeping but lately I've been using them more for regular everyday listening to podcasts or shows or music. Surprisingly good lows so you can vibe out, but it's definitely not an artisanal listening experience for audiophiles. I came back here to buy another set so I can have one for day and one for night! Had perfect connectivity with Pixel 4a and Pixel 8a.

TL/DR: best Bluetooth set I've owned. It's only *not* around my neck for showering/charging (I get a solid 24 hrs use on a charge, even after 2 years of use). Highly recommend. Long version: I've bought 50+ sets of headphones over the years (ran a studio for 20+ years and the creative ways people destroy headphones is incredible), and in the Bluetooth era I've purchased more than 20 for personal use. I work from home and have a pair around my neck 24/7 except for showering, etc. And THESE have been consistently the best of the type I've owned. The battery life is exceptional, the audio quality far belies the low cost. No in-ear type will give crazy sub-bass (it's just not physically possible) yet these give clear reproduction down to the lowest tonal frequencies. I'm super protective of my hearing so don't often crank stuff above 85-90 dB, but if your source material and player will put out the level (an important point some folks maybe don't realize), these will get LOUD. Btw if your phone etc won't push enough voltage to rattle your teeth, an app like Precise Volume's compressor/limiter can crank your output to crazy levels). The *one* thing I'd ask to be different: it'd be great if these had magnetic auto-off when the buds were stuck to each other. Minor thing, as the power consumption at idle seems really low. But, maybe in the next release?

Coming fron Anker Soundcore r500, it had nicer sound quality and bass compared to this. Even after trying to tweak equaliser it is not good enough
