the product is confortable and i got it wide side so no complaints about hurts, people need to see if they have a long toe before buy and pick the wide size not the normal one. Under rain work great and i like the design and color i got, people around told me where to buy it and for my hiking trips and daily work are very usefull, the quality of the material is nice and until now are with any damage, people who buy this stuff has to remenber shoes doesnt last forever i broke boots a lot because i take them to the limit in my job and my aventure trips around, and i use other brands famous but is the same i brake them the same with the time, but i recommend to buy different pairs of boots to have always cover in case one of them get out of bussines jaja

Very Comfortable. They Come Up Higher On My Ankles Than Sketchers, But This Is A Great Plus Because I Hurt My Ankle and The Additional Support Allows Me To Walk My Neighborhood and Perform Normally. The Top Three Metal Hooks On The Side Really Help Me Get In & Out Of These Shoes Faster. Generally, With Straight Lace Up "Ankle Boots" To Get Into Them Requires Loosening Up The Top Laces A Lot So That The Next Time You Put Them On, They Are Easy To Get On. But This Is Time Consuming. With These "Brogans", You Can Quickly and Easily Unwrap The Metal Hooks and Just As Easily Pull Them Tight The Next Time You Put Them On. The Bottom Rubber Is Tall Enough Not To Allow Water To Get In. Excellent Shoes. I Would Highly Recommend Them. I've Had Them About 3 Weeks and They Are Holding Up Well~! Even If You Have Not Twisted Your Ankle, These Shoes Are For You~!

Love the boots. Very comfortable. Definitely water proof. However, the laces are too long and I keep stepping on the ends. As a result they need replaced already.

I bought these hikers because I purchased a pair of boots of this brand Jan of. 2022 and I'm very pleased with them. These are only comfortable after I took out the insole and replaced it with really good inserts. They are well made, my only fault is the toe guard are scuffed pretty easily, but I'm very particular about my shoes looking new for a long time. These hikers are water resistant and not water proof. All in all I'm pleased with my purchase.

Bought these for a trip to Yellowstone in Winter. These boots did a great job of keeping my feet dry when I was ankle deep in snow, and I didn't get a single blister over the whole weekend despite wearing them around the clock. My ony complaint is that the laces feel extremely cheap, but they still held together fine and can be replaced when I feel like it. Boot construction was sturdy enough for me to kick walls with my toes, heel, and side of foot to remove snow without pain. Not sure how they'll feel in warmer weather when my feet sweat more, but in freezing temps, my feet were getting a little cold which makes me believe these will breath decently enough in warm or hot weather. Consider ordering a half size down for wide sizes. I wear a 10.5 Nike Free 2018 perfectly, but the 10.5 Wide boot feels a half size too big. Still comfortable regardless, and no issues with blisters or support around upper ankle in the larger size.

I bought 3 pairs of these hiking boots for a 5-day backpacking trip to Big Bend National Park with my teenage boys (well, 14 and 12) and a group of about 20 other scouts. At a 50$ price point per pair, these were amazing. We had hikes every day - anywhere from 4-mile round trip hikes with little elevation change, to summiting Mt Emory which is around a 8 mile round trip hike with major elevation change. We had hikes with just a day-pack with water (camelback) as well as our big Emory hike while toting 40-70lb backpacks for overnight camping (you need to carry-in all your water which is a majority of the weight). These boots were great. I got a size 12 standard width(in army green), my boys a 10 standard (brown) and 7.5 standard (black). My 14-yo has flat feet, and I initially got him the Wide version of the boot, but he said there was too much sliding in the boot, so we exchanged for the standard width and it was great for him. We all used thick wool socks while hiking. These boots were SUPER comfortable, extremely durable and worked great. While a couple of the other kids that went with us had blisters and such from their other more expensive boots, my boys and I had ZERO foot issues. We broke the boots in with a couple neighborhood walks prior to going, but the shoes by default are good to go I think. Zero materials issues while using them, great ankle support and if it matters, my 16yo daughter prior to us going was jealous of my 12yo son's pair (he got the black color) because she thought they were "super cute". As far as the soles of the boots, quite rugged grip, we were hiking on everything from flat sand next to the Rio Grande in Elena Canyon, all the way to jagged rock, gravel, mixed substrate etc on other hikes. The soles gripped everything fine, no slipping or issues with that. I highly recommend these boots for any recreational hiking anyone may do.

Pros: A very comfortable to wear boot, with three lace hooks at the top, letting you tighten it up very well. Their waterproofing is pretty solid (at least for the first two times I wore them).. I stepped through 4 inch deep snow regularly throughout the two days I wore these, and they held up and kept my feet drier than my Timberland White Ledge boots. Cons: I am a mailman, and can say with great confidence, that these boots are not good for long hikes. I felt a lot of arch pain and fatigue after wearing these boots twice, walking 13 miles each time. I felt very sore after about halfway thru the day. My Timberland White Ledge boots are very, very comfortable for long walks, but they also cost twice as much. If you need a water resistant hiker, and you don't walk a ton in them, these are a great buy. If you really put on the daily miles, I would not recommend.

After reading many reviews and the note on the item page saying that they generally fit to size, I picked up a pair of 9.5 black boots (with some grey trim) as I dig anything in black. If Batman wore a hiking shoe, this would be it. The stitching is well done and the fabric looks great - they don't look poorly made by any means. They appear to be water proof/resistant up to about half-way up the boot, at which point the water would seep in through the top - they aren't hip gaitors or water boots, so I wouldn't expect them to handle much more than a few inches deep puddle/mud. They feel super comfortable underneath my feet and around the sides - nothing awkwardly poking into the arch of my foot or the sides of my ankles. While I did pick my usual size, they do feel *ever so slightly roomy* - but I am wearing super thin socks and if I were wearing a thicker pair, I'm sure the shoe would be filled out a bit more. Also, I feel like if I got a smaller size AND wore a thicker pair of socks, I would find it slightly cramped. Also! Hiking tends to make your feet a bit bigger from the bloodflow so I think it's a good call to settle on a little roomy rather than a perfect fit when you're at home on a couch. I like how easily they go on/come off - you don't have to do much lacing/delacing or do any forcing of your foot into it. You can feel that the sole is made from different materials in different spots - treads are made of a rubber to give you grip where the rest of the sole is made from a harder material to make the soles last longer. Toe cap for a bit of protection/grip/easier ascents. Comes with an extra pair of laces. The photo on the item page does it fair justice but if I get around to pulling out my camera, I'll add a few photos of the shoes before I begin destroying them. All in all - super happy with my purchase and I trust they will serve me well on my thru-hike of the WCT in a month. Thanks for the sick boots, Nortiv8!

Boots are comfy straight from the box. The y are very warm. I like the lace system as there are no lace destroying metal hooks. i have had these boots 2 weeks and have walked over 100miles with dog on a variety of surfaces. the boots coped well with mud, stone and sandy forest trails. i have waded through a stream in gators and been out in wet grass and pouring rain and my feet have remained dry. The soles seem hard wearing and the boots show no signs of coming apart. I would be happy to wear these boots in mountainous areas. For the price these are excellent boots i am very pleased with my purchase.
