No matter how much room I give my eyes, this sunscreen finds its way in and burns like crazy. It doesn't matter if I sweat/get wet or not. Every single time I wear this, I regret it. I just had it happen while driving, and it was so bad I had to pull off. This is completely unacceptable for a "face" sunscreen. I might use what's left of this on my body but it's never going on my face again.

This is the end of buying anything from Neutrogena again, as they changed their packaging and now they send you a non seal products. Which makes no sense for skin products. How you can say the product wasn't opened before?

I wanted to like this product SO BAD, however after many attempts I will finally be putting this in the trash. This product creeps into my eyes and BURNS incessantly every.single.time I use it. After learning this lesson several times I tried to modify how I used it - using less product, avoiding my eye area, avoiding touching/rubbing my eyes while I'm wearing it. My eyes will be burning hours later no matter what I do, and it only happens when I wear this product. I have to double cleanse it off to get any relief, and sometimes even that doesn't do the trick. It just really surprises me that it is so harsh on my eyes when it is marketed as a product for the face, and something they encourage you to use for "sport" meaning your sweat would be mixing with it and making it even more likely to get in your eyes. I've never had this problem with any sunscreen I've used at the beach or pool and I'm a very fair skinned person so I've used many sunscreens over the years. I would just recommend avoiding if you have sensitive eyes at all.

I've been increasing my daytime running mileage and I came across this product while looking for suncreen recommendations: I have dry/dehydrated skin because of tretinoin use, so daily sunscreen is of paramount importance. I really wanted to love it, since it's consistently rated very highly among runners! Unfortunately this is just not for me. I applied the dermatologist-recommended amount (two fingers) and from the get go it was pasty and just did not settle well on my skin. It leaves a very visible white cast, which does not go away no matter how much you massage it. I imagine this would be ok on lighter skin tones but on a darker skin tone like mine, it's jarring. It also clings to any texture and to the hairline... which when combined with the whitecast means I really cannot wear this outside. I noticed a light stinging sensation on first use, and definitely burns the eyes on contact, but I think that's just a sunscreen thing. All in all I am definitely not a fan of this product, and will be returning it. Neutrogena, please do better for your POC customers!

It leaves a white cast no matter how little you apply. And if you apply a liberal amount, it rubs off. It smells like kerosene and stings the eyes.

I believed this was sweat proof, not so husband and I used it once our faces and it seeped into our eyes. Very painful. Not good on the face

I never thought I'd give the least star for this sunblock. I recently moved to FL from the Midwest and spent the summer in FL. I didn't go to the beach, but I did a morning walk and drove home after sweating at the gym with this sunblock. It says "sweat-resistant," but sweatproof is not the same. Because of the humidity, I got sweaty under my eyes while wearing sunglasses, and sunblock lost effectiveness every time I wiped down my sweat. Then, one morning after the normal morning walk, I realized that my face was completely tanned and red, along with massive freckles on both cheeks! I was so disappointed as using this sunblock was to prevent all that. I liked everything about this sunblock, including it won't clog pores, won't leave streak marks, it is not greasy, no scent... but it did not do the main purpose of being a sunblock.

I bought this item bc I needed the protection for my face and the fact that it will not burn your eyes. Well, that is total bs. I spread it on my face and got just a little around my eyelids. I was so miserable all day and into the night. I applied eye drops, cold compresses, etc. and was still burning me when I went to bed. It's in the garbage now so I won't have this problem again. Update: Had to go to an optometrist because of this item. Started seeing blurry so this of course scared me. The doctor prescribed anti=biotic drops for 3 weeks. If my vision doesn't improve in 3 weeks I will have to go back. Don't know what he will recommend. My vision was fine before using this crap now I'm worried about losing some of my vision. To be continued.

Excellent sun protection! Works perfectly at high altitudes, like skiing. Even when sweating, it doesn’t drip. Just remember to reapply every 2-3 hours for the best protection. I’ll definitely be using it again for my skiing trip this year!
