I thought for a second that Tricia’s husband was EJ who came back with a wife to the house where he killed Dr. Hale as a trophy, never will I imagined that Tricia was Patricia and she was bat crazy! In the beginning I thought she was a good one, she fools us all! I do have to point out that I didn’t like that Dr. Hale was killed, yes, maybe is an unpopular opinion, she wasn’t right in the head that’s for sure but I am a romance girly, and her relationship with Luke was so cute, that was until she asked him to hack into EJ phone, I love this author and when it was revealed who Tricia was my heart skipped a beat, it just a type of excrement no other author gives me, truly a masterpiece and I recommend you read it.

This book kept me hooked from start to finish! The twists and turns were phenomenal, making it an addictive, quick read that I couldn’t put down. Just when I thought I had it all figured out, McFadden threw in another curveball, leaving me completely stunned. (my guess was incorrect… per usual) The story follows newlyweds Tricia and Ethan, who find themselves stranded in a remote, snowed-in home once owned by a famous psychiatrist, Dr. Adrienne Hale. As Tricia stumbles across Hale’s old patient transcripts, she uncovers dark secrets that blur the lines between truth and lies. It’s a dual POV thriller that left me wanting to trust absolutely no one and honestly, these characters reinforced that lesson in every possible way. While I loved the suspense and the unraveling of the mystery, the characters themselves felt a little flat for me. I didn’t find myself rooting for any of them, but maybe that was intentional given the dark and unsettling tone of the book. Overall, Never Lie is perfect for fans of twisty psychological thrillers. If you enjoy being kept on the edge of your seat and love the feeling of having your mind blown, add this one to your tbr. Just don’t forget to question everything - because per usual, nothing is as it seems.

Never Lie by Frieda McFadden is a thrilling rollercoaster ride from start to finish! The story pulls you in with its atmospheric setting and keeps you hooked with its jaw-dropping twists. The characters are complex, and the pacing is perfect, making it impossible to put down. Just when you think you’ve figured it out, McFadden throws in another curveball. If you love psychological thrillers that keep you guessing until the very last page, this is the book for you. Highly recommend!

Freida McFadden books are so addictive and this one does not disappoint! Never Lie takes you on a path that’s full of twists and turns. The only sure thing is that whatever you think is going on will probably be wrong by the end. Start this book when you have plenty of time. It’s hard to put down!

I first got this book on july 18,2023. I started reading it got fully emerged then it got too scary so i stopped. i just picked it back up and read 200 pages in an hour and a half to two hours. it was amazing. but it’s a physiological thriller so i do not recommend if you get scared easy. i will definitely pick up more of her books later in life. or next time im bored and want an easy read. they are not mentally easy but they are fast to get into.

Good book. Very surprising plot twist at the end. The beginning of the novel started kind of slow, but still highly recommend.

Hi did enjoy reading this book, however, not as much as her other books. The story was good however I feel like it could be better thought out with less holes in the storyline to add up and make more sense. All in all, though it was a good book and an enjoyable read.

I have to admit, this is only my 2nd Freida book; mostly bc the first I read seemed like a carbon copy of another book I read and that was offputting. But I also have to admit that I REALLY enjoy her writing style! This book was very easy to read and had me hooked right from the beginning. By chapter 12, I was sure I had the plot figured out...but I should have known I was wrong! I was actually pretty surprised by the ending.

Another very good read by McFadden. Creative storyline with a twist at the end. I enjoyed it. This is almost as good as the Housemaid series.

Freida McFadden continues to deliver with "Never Lie," her latest thriller. This is the fourth book of hers I've read, and it consistently exceeded my expectations. The story grips you from the start, and while I thought I had the plot figured out early on, McFadden expertly weaves a web of deceit and suspense, constantly surprising the reader with unexpected twists and turns. "Never Lie" is a fast-paced and addictive read that will keep you guessing until the very end. Highly recommended for fans of psychological thrillers.
