I thought the whole air fryer thing was just a silly meme for a long time, but consider me a convert. This thing has made baking my large batches of chicken breast significantly easier, and with far less oil, in half the time. I also use it to roast carrots, make toasted sandwiches, and bake pastries! What I've come to recognize is that I hardly ever need the full capacity of my conventional oven, so all that time spent preheating it is a total waste, when this one preheats in a mere 2 minutes. The product itself is very reliable, distributes heat evenly, and is very easy to use. The manual explains pretty much everything I would want to know, and the interface is also very convenient. My only words of warning to folks who haven't used air fryers before is that you really should try to make sure it is plugged on its own dedicated circuit, because it does draw a lot of electricity! If you have multiple things running on the same circuit, you run the risk of tripping the breaker. The other thing is to be mindful of where you place your food when baking in two trays. It comes with two normal trays, a drip tray, and a basket. If using two trays to air fry, say, chicken and carrots at the same time, the one at the top will likely have much more moisture accumulate on it than the one at the bottom. For situations like that, use the basket instead so that the moisture isn't trapped at the top, and airflow is uninterrupted. This is not a fault of the product, it's just how moisture works. In all, fantastic product, and it has absolutely convinced me of the wonders of air fryers/convection ovens.

We purchased the 10-in-1 model and liked it a lot except for some annoyingly loud vibrations. After reading a few reviews talking about vibration from an unbalanced fan, we took a chance and returned it, getting instead the stainless 10-in-1 model with thermometer, and the noise is gone. The oven is great - looks good, simple controls, easy to read display, preheats quickly, quiet. Just be aware there are some quality control issues with the fan and make sure you get one that doesn’t have that issue.

The Foodi heats up quickly and is ready for food in a couple minutes. It sits nicely on the counter although it was larger than I had expected. I do like the size though, as it can hold multiple items at the same time. It is very easy to use with the settings clearly labeled on the handle. It will beep to let you now it is at the temperature for cooking and then again when it timer goes off. It came with two flat trays, a slotted tray, a wire rack for air frying and two oven racks. The fan is a little louder than I imagined it should be. It does quiet down after it gets hot. The functions I use the most are air fry, toast, and bake. I haven't tried the others yet. It makes perfect toast and does so very quietly. The air fry function is nice too and I use it the most.

I use this almost every day! It air fries, bakes, and toasts way faster than my regular oven. Super easy to use, and it fits a ton of food – perfect for family meals. Pros: • Does everything (air fry, bake, roast, etc.) • Heats up fast and cooks evenly • Big enough for a 12” pizza or whole chicken Cons: • Takes up counter space • Outside gets hot when running If you want something that can handle meals fast and replace a few appliances, this is it. I’d buy it again in a heartbeat!

This is a LARGE unit that looks really nice. I went back and forth between this one and the most popular Cuisinart one which I used TO DEATH before buying this one. I went with this one because I wanted more space on the inside of the oven and I liked the look more. The Cuisinart is not even the slightest bit sleek looking and it sat front and center in my kitchen. With all the positive reviews for this Ninja, I took a chance. When it arrived it was bigger than what I wanted. Yes, I measured, but it's presence was much more pronounced even though it wasn't that much bigger. Fortunately, it's nice looking, but ... damn did that little bit of more make a difference. Down to brass tax ... the thing that was HEAVEN about the Cuisinart was that it cut my cooking time in HALF. This is really important to me. With the Ninja, I might as well have been using a regular oven in terms of how long it took to make anything. YES, you are skipping the preheat time, but compared to the Cuisinart, this took TWICE AS LONG to cook or air fry anything. That is SIGNIFICANT. That said, if you wait patiently, it cooks things perfectly. The Cuisinart tended to run hot and if you weren't careful you could burn something. I adjusted every temperature on the Cuisinart back 25-degrees and had to watch things carefully, but not with the Ninja. It will eventually cook your food to a golden brown, or whatever. I believe when I traded up for more space on the inside it just added the cook time on because there's too much room for the oven to heat quickly. Total bummer. Not worth the trade for my needs. This is also important: When you use the air fry function on this Ninja machine, it literally sounds like a small airplane is taking off in your kitchen THE ENTIRE TIME IT'S RUNNING. It is incredibly annoying. I cannot undersell this point. Good luck having a conversation with that thing running. I love that the Ninja controls are on the handle and are touch. It seems like it would cause problems, but it doesn't. This is probably the most awesome part of it's design. It is sleek and it is so easy to use. The Ninja is way easier to clean than the Cuisinart. Way. If the Ninja and the Cuisinart had a baby, I would buy it. When I need a new one, I will look for that. If I don't find it, I will go back to the Cuisinart so I can cut my cook time in half and hear myself think. Also, an odd bonus about the Cuisinart. It was all stainless steel. My dog pulled it off the counter over a dozen times and it never broke or looked dinged up or anything. It was incredible. If the dog dragged the Ninja off the counter it would be toast with the glass front (unless it's special glass?). And, with the Ninja's door handle being bigger and closer to the edge of the countertop, this is a real hazard that I had to create a workaround for -- dog life.

What a fantastic Air Fryer / Oven. Larger than expected but fits our counter nicely. The Quality seems top notch and seems like it will be easy to keep clean long term. All the settings are on the handle to fold down the door. A well thought out feature. The Air Fryer fan seems super strong and get the job done nicely. Way to go Ninja.

I did a LOT of reading of reviews, articles and descriptions before deciding on this model. I have never been so excited about a new appliance, except for perhaps my first washing machine, but I digress. I measured my available space options to ensure enough clearance for heat, which I highly recommend. While my upper cupboards have a decorative bar along the edge a scant inch above the oven, the dissipating heat is not significant and they only get warm, not hot. I did discover that the small heat vent at the top of the back part does put out a lot of heat and moisture, so condensation can occur on my tiles behind this, even with over 15 cm/ 6” of clearance. So I put my oven on a piece of parchment paper and it now slides easily whenever I use it - I just turn it left so the back points out to the side away from the tiles. If I had an open space to put it, this wouldn’t be a concern. (See photos of back and side of oven space on my counter) My first meal was a 5 lb whole chicken - oh my it was so moist and flavourful! Perfect with the thermometer and a rack of potato wedges baking above in the basket. I do have my own meat thermometer, but it is super convenient to have the smart technology preprogram exactly how you like roasts, chicken, etc done. That was worth the extra money to have! I’ve since made many meals, roasts, even a 11.5 lb turkey! Baking squash chunks, roasting carrots and other veggies, or air frying them is quick and easy. Fish fillets are not dried out or overcooked once you learn the timings...since we don’t eat fried foods per se, but do enjoy roasted and air fried foods done this way, I bought a second air fryer basket. I couldn’t find a Ninja one, so ordered a Corsori one and it fits perfectly on the rack. You’d not use two racks at the same time as two baskets so that works well for me. (See photo with two baskets in place). Cleaning is a snap - even the baked-on grease or fat comes off readily if you put the pans/racks in warm soapy water right away to soak a bit - nothing a little effort can’t remove. Giving the interior a good wipe after each use prevents a buildup of grease/fat that may be very small droplets, but do accumulate over time. I use a sponge with a plastic scrubbie, nothing that could scratch the metal. My only wish is that there was a better (and free) guide for times to cook various common foods. From what I’ve read, most people reviewed the Ninja cookbook and said it wasn’t really worth the money. I use the internet for ideas, although one does get good at estimating time and temperatures. So, would I recommend this - absolutely! It is nice to look at, intuitive to use after a few times, easy to clean, effective and efficient with heat, and I’m sure will save me money in the long run from not using my huge oven all the time! Now I need to update my microwave, as even this Ninja doesn’t completely replace reheating up a cup of coffee haha!

Our main oven stopped working, and when we were faced with the decision of replacing it, especially in the current pandemic climate, we were a bit stuck on what to do. Should we brave going out into an appliance store to look at a new full size oven? Then go through the process of having the new full size oven delivered into our home? We decided against this and looked into a temporary solution that would tide us over for potentially the next 6 months to a year, and here enter the Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 Air Fry Digital Countertop Convection Oven! We have been using the oven for about a month at this point, and this product has completely exceeded our expectations! It literally pre-heats in under 1 minute to temperatures around 425 F, which easily is 5 to potentially 10 times faster than our full size oven when it was working optimally! That alone cuts down considerably on cooking and prep times when it’s come to family meals! The size of the countertop oven is also incredible, obviously being not as large as a full size oven, but more than adequate for every meal we have been cooking over the past month for our family of 3! It’s also incredibly easy and intuitive to use, my 3 year old loves to help push the buttons to commence cooking, and if we let him know the Mode, Cooking Temp and Time, even he knows how to get everything started and cooking every time successfully (always with our supervision of course)! I’ve read some of the negative reviews, and I can state that yes, the oven fan does make noise, but it is hardly enough to be considered “too noisy”. It’s not silent or super quiet, but it’s definitely no louder than a normal microwave. Also, some negative reviews have stated the oven is difficult to clean due to the design of the heating elements. I can understand this if food splatter or crumbs build up at the bottom of the oven, but after a month of use, we have not had very much mess result from our cooking, but I’m sure with more use we will encounter some cleaning challenges. We actually just use one of the provided cooking pans placed on the bottom rack for any items we cook directly on the third rack, and this has been able to catch any falling food debris keeping the bottom quite clean. In this way, I feel much of the criticisms can either be easily overcome, or aren’t as bad as some of the more negative focused reviews are making it sound. Overall, this product is becoming one of our most essential and most used kitten items in our household, which says a lot of an item we were only initially looking to purchase to temporarily substitute for our full size oven. To be honest, we’re now only using our full size oven for its stove top, which still works, and we may just continue to use the Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 Air Fry Digital Countertop Convection oven as our primary family home oven for the foreseeable future! Even when we get the option to replace our full size oven, which to our family, says a whole lot about the quality and genuine worth of this product! So highly recommended, and I’m also now very excited to look at other Ninja Foodi products to add to our kitchen collection!
