my son loves it so much. thank you and it came early :) it doesn't come with a charger box though and the charger is a C charger double sided so you'll need to get yourself a box with a C type port and not USB

Bought this for my son for his 8th birthday July 2024. It was working fine and great. He took care of it a lot. No damage or anything. Battery life was short and weak. Now out of no where the device stop working. I can’t turn it on and it won’t charge at all. I have no clue as to what I need to do and I can’t see the disappointment on my son’s face. Any suggestions as to what I can do to fix this. I called Nintendo company and they are charging me $160 plus shipping. Would be around &180. Almost the price for what I bought.

I've had the switch lite for almost a year already and was definitely worth the $30 or so savings to get renewed. Used to play a lot of SNES as a kid before going to PC gaming into my adult life and when I saw trailers for tears of the kingdom I had to buy the switch to play games on my commute to and from the city. My only regret is not getting the regular switch or OLED version so I could play on the big screen on the rare occasion I feel like gaming at home. Now the switch 2 is rumored to be coming out soon so I think I'll wait for that to play on the big screen!

I got this for my 10 year old for his birthday and straight A's all year long. He loves it, but the charger doesn't work. At first, I thought it might be the charging port on the device. But the charger didn't work for my nephew's switch either. A different charger worked on our device. I contacted Amazon for a replacement charger, but they could only do a full refund, and I would have to purchase it again. My son was fine when I told him, that the replacement device had already been ordered. He was growing attached to this device. I could have kept it and purchased another charger, but I don't believe that I should have to buy a new charger for a device that I paid good money for. To be clear again, the device worked fine for the four days that my son had it. The charger was the problem.
