This Japanese rice comes out perfect in our rice cooker EVERY TIME. The rice is nice and fluffy and not all hard in the middle. The taste is really good and the price is reasonable. Will continue to buy this brand for all of our rice needs.

If you're anything like me, you probably thought rice was just a bland, flavorless staple food. I mean, sure, it's filling and goes well with a lot of different dishes, but it's definitely not the star of the show. But then I discovered Nishiki Premium Sushi Rice, and oh boy, was I wrong. This rice completely changed my relationship with this staple food. I was looking for relatively inexpensive, shelf-stable foods that I could fill my pantry with. Never ate rice that much (I always thought it was dry and uninspired). Now, after having ordered Nishiki, I probably eat rice 3-5 times a week. I invested in a nice rice cooker just because of it! First of all, let's talk about the quality of this rice. It's premium for a reason - it's soft, fluffy, and sticky in all the right ways. I used to think that all rice was pretty much the same, but Nishiki has really shown me the difference that quality makes. Every grain is perfectly cooked and separates beautifully, so you never end up with a clumpy mess. But what really sets this rice apart is its flavor. I never thought I'd describe rice as flavorful, but Nishiki has managed to do just that. It has a subtle, slightly sweet taste that really complements the flavors of other dishes. And because it's sushi rice, it's perfect for making, well, sushi! I've been on a sushi-making kick lately, and I have to say, using Nishiki has taken my rolls to the next level. (Pro tip: add just a splash of rice vinegar) But even if you're not into sushi-making, this rice is still a great option. I've used it as a base for stir-fries, as a side dish, and even as a main dish. It's versatile, filling, and most importantly, delicious. I'll admit, I was a little hesitant to pay more for a bag of rice when there are other options, but trust me when I say it's worth it. Nishiki has made me love rice in a way I never thought possible, and I'm pretty sure it'll do the same for you. So go ahead, treat yourself to a bag of this premium goodness, and get ready to fall in love with rice all over again. In my opinion, Nishiki Premium Sushi Rice is the king of all rice, and it's made me a believer. If you're looking for a high-quality, flavorful, and versatile option, look no further. Love the texture. Def my kind of rice. More on the sticky side but NOT like actual sticky rice. Its a little more on the expensive side but is the only rice ill eat. Taste and smell is awesome!

So, here I am, buying sushi rice because I wanted sushi, and apparently, regular rice just wasn't going to cut it. Who knew? I mean, I thought you could just use any old rice and slap some fish on it, right? Nope. It turns out, there's a reason sushi rice exists. Actually, this stuff tasted really good. It was sticky, flavorful, and actually held together—shocking, I know. I might be a sushi connoisseur now... well, not really, but at least I didn’t completely fail at making sushi at home.

I make rice for sushi or poke bowls nearly every week. It comes out perfect every time. Rinse, soak, cook, steam, cool with rice vinegar. Beautiful, glossy, sticky rice. I keep extra bags stocked so I never run out.

Due to all the crazy in the world it does not hurt to get bulk items and save. I also bought food grade bins with tops to place the food in to preserve the freshness. Love this rice, love the ability to buy bulk and it saves time and money. Great taste and fast delivery
