I always enjoy reading a Stephanie Plum novel. I love the characters, and I love the wacky humor. Reading about her life and crazy adventures lifts my mood and leaves me happy. This story was very entertaining and I enjoyed seeing Stephanie make progress in her skills as a mystery solver and a bounty hunter. I am so pleased that there was no cliffhanger ending. I am eagerly looking forward to the next book in this series. Keep this series coming please. I have been reading the Stephanie Plum books since the first one came out, and it is one of my most favorite series.

Ms Evanovich has become my number one author. Her characters are real, her dialog funny and suspenseful! If you haven’t read Stephanie Plum my advice is you start at the beginning with book 1 and just keep reading. You won’t regret it!

If you read the last book, you know Stephanie, in her usual goofy way, accepted proposals from both men in her life: Cop Joe Morelli, and dangerous Ranger. But that "small" problem pales in comparison to her bounty hunter duties including a maybe senile mob boss (who sends lovely fruit baskets) to Robin Hoodie, a guy who steals from UPS, and food trucks to feed the poor, to Zoran, the killer vampire (is there any other kind?), and oh, yeah, nerdy Herbert from her high school past.
Hysterical, great and often scary mystery. And the ending is wonderful. One more thing -- LOVE the author's new photo! Thanks for the update and the super book, Ms. Evanovich.

Not my favorite of the books. (Spoilers ahead) In fact it took me a while to get into the story and for the characters to find their groove. It wasn’t until the last quarter of the book that everything felt normal.
And maybe that was the point. Stephanie felt out of sorts for most of the book. She’s engaged to two men- two amazing men, but still- she might be pregnant, she’s recovering from being firebombed and her home feels violated. Her FTA’s are not easy to apprehend and she feels out of control. The story itself felt out of control with no real focal point like there usually is- until there was and the pieces began to fall into place.
I normally read these books in one sitting, but I had to put it down and walk away a few times to finish it. When the story started pulling together, I couldn’t put it down.

Each book is worth the wait. As usual we get a couple of new crazy characters and keep the crazy regulars like Lulu and Grandma Mazier. Who will Stephanie decide on Ranger or Moralli? And will she ever get bullets for her gun?
Definitely a fun romp. Please keep writing Janet!

Happily ever after, maybe? I won’t recap the entire story but just say Janet Evanovich is a master storyteller of mystery and humor. Stephanie Plum books are always worth the wait for the next story. Who will Stephanie marry or will she even get married? Read this book right to the last sentence to find out! And no cheating by reading the last chapter first! Enjoy the build up: it’s worth the wait!

I read this in one sitting! I so love these stories, & this was the best one yet. Lots of suspense, laughs & a great finish -- most importantly, that this us NOT the end. Can't wait for #32!

I loved this book! I did read some of the other reviews and I was shocked. No matter who Stephanie chooses half of the fan base will be angry. I have always been a fan of both male leads. There have been times I have been in both camps. Like Stephanie I couldn't decide. This book was entertaining and at the end of day that is what we read these for. I think it would make a great tv series. I was never a fan of the movie adaptation. I thought the casting was way off on Stephanie as well as Ranger and Morelli.

Wow! That was an eventful race, it doesn’t slacken the pace from start to finish. On tenterhooks the whole way.

Stephanie Plum is always good for a laugh. This book was no exception to the rule. Only she could get herself engaged to two men at the same time and have a third one crushing on her as well. Then there is the ‘vampire’ who is stalking her, the gang boss who she’s trying to reschedule and the FTA who has the Robin Hood complex. It all makes for hysterical reading.

This just wasn't as good as the rest of the series.
