The ice maker works very well, it is quiet and easy to use, it constantly generates ice as it runs out, it is a little heavy, I bought it because the ice in my refrigerator comes out dirty, but with this machine I can put completely drinkable water in it.

I love that its the pebble ice and not the bullets. It is easy to use. Just fill with water (I used filtered) press the button and it starts to 'brew' ice. Its not really as loud as claimed; It does make noise but its not that bad and its only while its making the ice. It fills relatively quickly but takes about an hour to fill up completely. The ice bags included is a nice touch. The little scoop attaches to the side of the ice maker with a suction cup which is nice for sanitary reasons. The ice comes out separate so it doesn't clump, although once you put into an ice bag it may. Nothing a few whacks with something can't fix. The only drawback is that once it is filled-it doesn't keep the ice cold. IT IS NOT A FREEZER. That said, if you keep the lid closed it takes awhile to melt so you'll still have ice for a few hours. It doesn't take up too much room, either. All told I stay alot more hydrated since I really enjoy beverages with this type of ice and a straw so my water intake has increased (which I needed.) So if you're looking to stay more hydrated or have fountain-type drinks-this is that machine for you! FYI to drain the unit there is a plug on the bottom. The cord is pretty long so it does reach my sink to drain but otherwise you can simply pull it forward off the counter and put a pot underneath the catch the water.

The ice coming out of the machine is perfect, but unfortunately this only lasted for a short time. After 3 months of having this machine, the belt burned out and no longer makes any ice - and makes a horrible noise when you try to fix it to make ice. Not worth $200, and sad it only lasted such a short time for the price.

We love this ice maker. It produces what I could call hospital or chik fil-a style ice. The nice small, chewable nuggets of ice. Operation is super simple. Pour in the water and turn it on. Within 3 minutes we had ice being made. After about 15 minutes of making ice you have to either move the ice around or empty the hopper. If you move the ice, that will buy you another 10 minutes before you will have to empty the hopper into a bin and put it in the freezer. Now when you freeze the ice, it all freezes together. So make sure you have a metal ice scoop, ice pick, or old knife to break it apart. Once you break it apart it will stay that way until you add freshly made ice. While it is not whisper quiet, it is not loud either. Does it make some noise...yes. Is is distracting? No. It just background noise. Overall, you cannot go wrong with this ice maker. I highly recommend!

This ice maker works amazingly! When it is working… Don’t get me wrong, it makes really good ice quickly and quietly! But the problem I have with it is that the little water float will get stuck and the machine will think there is no water in it. Even when I clean it, it’ll work for about a day or two then go back to being stuck. When this happens I have to bang the machine to make it start working. But if I’m not around when it happens, then I come back to no ice.

I bought this in September, and use it almost 24/7. Apparently it can't handle that. I've only had it 5 months and it's already malfunctioning. Yesterday morning I woke up to a clicking like a gear was going bad, and then later it started with a heavy squeak. Ice production significantly slowed and appears to be some debris in the bottom of the water area. I clean and descale regularly so its not from not cleaning.
