*DOES NOT INCLUDE BATTERIES AS STATED IN DESCRIPTION* <—- my only complaint that I forgot to mention when I first reviewed this. I had previously purchased a different brand BP monitor, but the readings were always high - as in, if they were actually accurate, I'd be in the hospital. Returned that one after comparing readings with my doctor's monitor. After seeing over and over that OMRON is the standard for home BP monitors, I found this one. Although it doesn't have all of the features that my old monitor had, it's actually pretty accurate, and therefore much more useful in keeping track of my BP between doctor visits. I do wish it was backlit and had memory settings, but I assume that's available in a costlier model. No biggie as this does the job at a reasonable price.

I read a lot of reviews before buying this one. Forget the batteries and buy the plug adapter. Its cheaper than buying batteries and works great. The cuff itself is standard and easy to put on. My blood pressure is pretty consistent so I believe the numbers. If they're wrong at least they are consistently wrong!

Straight forward large print owners manual with meaningful pictures. Describe step-by-step user instructions. The only feature this model lacks is a memory function to stockpile pressure readings over the past week or month. However, I can easily jot down the numbers along with the date on a sheet of paper or in a log book. Even my Home Care Services Hospital Recovery Nurse said that my choice in Blood Pressure Monitor was their preferred equipment choice as well for their Health Care Network team.

Few bells and whistles. Simple but functional and appears accurate. Repeat tests generated very similar values, these were in turn similar to my older bp monitor and essentially the same values that my bp dropped to after a few hours of lying on a bed in the hospital.

Works well. I had my doctor check it for accuracy and it passed with no problem. I have a small arm and it easily adjusts to fit. No bells and whistles, it just reads my blood pressure and tells my heart rate. But that's all I wanted it to do. I did buy the AC plug for it as I didn't want to fool with batteries. Would recommend.

This blood pressure monitor is great. Works easily and seems to be reasonably quick. Easy to read numbers and the size is adequate. I like the design, not to big yet big enough to read.

This is my second one. I still have it. I got this one for a Backup. They both Read very much the same. The price was very reasonable. Another thing is, it's Dr. recommended. Thank You Amazon.
