I consider this a specialty niche filament, but what it does it does very well. That is speed and detail. I'm still stunned at the projects I've shot out with this filament without a single failure all at 166% the speed I usually print at. Projects that were fairly risky. For Bambu users that's full Ludicrous speed with no noticeable drop in quality. Turns a 9 hour project into a 5 and a half hour project. I've printed average detail models at regular speed and compared and can't tell the difference. It has some issues to account for though. 1) Adhesion is severe, sticks harder than PETG. I dedicate a plate to PETG printing with a hairspray coating. Spraying the plate usually lasts me 3-5 PETG prints. With this filament I have to respray every print or chunks will rip from the print. Textured PEI. 2) The resulting print is rather brittle. It likes to shatter rather than bend. Still holds up to a drop but I only use this filament for decorational prints. 3) I don't treat this as PLA. It's unique. If you try and mix it with other regular PLA's or other brands it won't work well or at all.

I really like this PLA and good value. It prints easily with a good finish and little faster than other PLA. It does stick to the build plate, but a thin layer of glue stick solves that. Just purchased a 3rd roll in one week. Will buy again.

This stuff hardens to the PEI plate way, way too much. It literally sticks so hard you have to break your prints off. The print quality is great, but I couldn’t get them off. I have been 3D printing for 6 months now, used all sorts of stuff and even Overture PLA but this stuff is insane. I used the profiles from the website, still stuck on. I tried lowering the bed temperature, it’s still stuck. I even dried it for 8 hours, still stuck. I haven’t ever had an issue with something with TOO MUCH adhesive. This is a first. I’m returning the rest I purchased. It’s insane.

Overture is good filament and I’ve used a lot of it. I bought 3 rolls of this turbo stuff I’m now stuck with because I opened all of them thinking they were good. I do not recommend this stuff. It sticks to the build plate and don’t want to come off. It sticks tooo good. It rips the bottom layers of all my prints off no matter how careful I am trying to get it off the plate. I’ve never had this problem with any filament and I’ve used a lot of different brands and this is with a flexible build plate. Bed temperature don’t matter either. I lowered the temp and had the same problem. I let it cool off overnight and still the same problem. Besides the bottom layer being ripped off every time the rest of the print comes out really good. It just sticks too good. I couldn’t imagine trying to get it off of a solid glass plate. If I didn’t open them all I would return them. Stay away from this stuff.

The OVERTURE Turbo PLA is a solid choice for those looking to print at high speeds. It feeds smoothly and produces strong, well-adhered layers when properly tuned. The filament itself has a consistent diameter, which helps prevent clogging and extrusion issues, and I appreciate that it comes on a sturdy cardboard spool rather than plastic. However, this filament does require some fine-tuning to get the best results, especially when pushing print speeds to 600mm/s. At higher speeds, I noticed occasional stringing and slight inconsistencies in layer bonding, which were resolved with adjustments to temperature and retraction settings. It’s not necessarily a plug-and-play filament for every printer, but once dialed in, it performs very well. If you're running a high-speed 3D printer and are willing to tweak settings, this is a great option. For those using slower, more standard print speeds, regular PLA might be an easier choice.

Printer: Flsun T1 Pro. Right off the bat I’ve only used two different brands of filament so far, Elegoo and Overture. I’ve used both a non-rapid Elegoo PLA which worked fairly well with my printer, but ran into a few print fails. I bought this product and another spool hoping to resolve those issues, which for the most part worked. However, there is a sacrifice in quality using this product. I had issues with the filament and finished prints sticking to my print bed, weak strength compared to my other Elegoo pla prints, and also poorer quality compared to Elegoo PLA mainly texture, uneven prints, and easy breaking. I plan on testing other filament brands in the future. But, I ended up returning the second spool of overture rapid PLA due to the above issues listed. I have switched over to Elegoo rapid PETG and so far it has definitely been a step up from overture rapid PLA.

Quite pleased with the Turbo version. Used the Overture settings for my Elegoo Neptune 4 Plus and printed at 450mm. Settings on Overture web site. Did notice a couple of places where one layer did not adhere to another but it was very minor for the large item I am printing. Will raise extruder temperature to see if this solves the issue. Only downside to this filament is - why is the gray color for Turbo different than the other Overture filaments? Turbo is a shade darker. Would be nice to have consistency. NOTE: After using one roll I find that there is a lot of layer separation so it is NOT a 5 star item - Sorry. Working with Overture to see why this is happening. Not having this problem with Elegoo Rapid PLA.

Fresh out of the bag I couldn't get this to load into a bowden feeder. The filament kept snapping off trying to get it through the gear. After thoroughly drying I had fewer issues with it being brittle, but it's still a very difficult material to work with.
