Love this little salad spinner. My old one was larger and took up a lot of space in my cabinet. It also had a string to pulled that eventually broke into because of the friction. I got the small one there is only two of us. Takes up less room in the kitchen and the camper. I love that you can lock the handle down. The plastic is good quality on both the basket and the bowl. Much thicker than my old spinner. Very easy to pump does a great job of drying. I don't put it in the dish washer even though it says you can. My last one cracked and it was on the top rack. I would highly recommend.

I never thought I’d get excited about a salad spinner, but the OXO Large Salad Spinner has completely changed my salad prep routine. It’s super easy to use—just one press on the pump and the basket spins like crazy. My greens come out dry and crisp every time, which really helps my dressings stick better and keeps everything fresher in the fridge. The non-slip base keeps it steady while spinning, and the brake button is oddly satisfying to use. I also love that it doubles as a colander and serving bowl, so I get more use out of it than I expected. Cleanup is a breeze—everything comes apart easily and goes right in the dishwasher. If you eat a lot of salads or wash herbs and berries often, this is 100% worth it. OXO nailed it with this one.

As a vegan, I make salads almost every day, either as a main meal or a side dish, and this salad spinner works exceptionally well, regardless of size. Despite being plastic, it is well-built and easy to use. My salads come out clean and perfectly dressed every time. I highly recommend this spinner to anyone looking to enhance their salad-making experience!

For a salad spinner that checks every box — durability, design, and ease — this is it. What works: • Sturdy build — thick, high-quality plastic that lasts. • Clean design — matches the OXO aesthetic you already trust. • Smooth operation — spins efficiently, easy to rinse and dry. • Effortless maintenance — simple to take apart and clean. If you’re serious about kitchen tools that look good and work flawlessly, your search ends here — you’re welcome. — Curated by Jaded John | #OrderlyCleanDesign

I used to think salad spinners were a waste of money (I had a plastic OXO one years ago that I wasn't overly impressed with) but this one performs pretty well. It has quite a large capacity, which comes in handy when you're meal-prepping or making large smoothie batches. I knew it being glass would make it heavier but it is still a lot to handle, especially if you have arthritis, joint hypermobility, etc., so bear that in mind before purchasing. I recommend getting silicone grip gloves as a precaution if you do go this route. I was specifically looking for glass because it's easier to clean, doesn't absorb odours, and chemically inert (compared to plastic) and this was the only one that fit the bill on Amazon. It's got fairly solid construction -the glass is quite thick- and while I am careful with it, i'd wager it could probably tolerate rougher handling. Not really sure what purpose the 'brake' is supposed to serve but it's there if you like sort of thing. I took off one star because it's not the most user-friendly weight and a bit over-priced for what it is.

I LOVE the OXO brand! The little salad spinner is perfect for cleaning those so-called, "ready to eat salads" from the grocery store, including fruit. This device is pleasing to the eye, easy to clean, and feels very durable. The rubber underneath prevents the spinner from moving all around the counter when in use.

This salad spinner is an improvement over my last one. It comes apart completely for cleaning which was always hard in the older model. Just right for washing one bunch of lettuce.

My first bowl somehow ended up my sisters house. My second we used until finally wore out, which took years. Now on our 3rd bowl, like it as much as the first. One hint: store it with the lid off. If there is moisture in the spinning mechanism it will be able dry.

I love the sturdiness of this item. I had bought an expensive plastic one that developed cracks immediately but still worked for about 4 months. Then I bought a replacement and the bowl split while I was washing it - by hand - before the first time use. This one is worth the money and is strong and works really well.
