5 freaking stars!!! TRACY MY GOAT 🏆she went above and beyond with telling this story. The growth Bree experiences, the unique twists on tropes, the multiple perspectives!?!? Like I was eating GOOD!! No but really seeing Bree become more mature, more self assured, and just as stubborn was like watching my fictional little sister grow up right in front of my eyes. This Bree is so much stronger than Bree in Bloodmarked and she earns that on her own merit! You can truly see the deep love Tracy has for Bree. The multiple povs were so good. The way Tracy weaved them all together to not only push the story forward but show us what was happening in other areas of characters who were worried about Bree's safety and doing anything they could to find her. I had some hard sobs from some povs LOL but also I'm a big baby and I just love this found family sooo much. Like this is FAMILY!!! The romance was excellent!! Yearners!!! The world building and expansion was soooo good in this book and Bree being able to explore with 2 new characters was so great to see. And to see her hanging out with black teens close to her age!! Uh I loved that so much and their scenes were sooo entertaining. We got some povs from a character I've been so excited to hear from and it did not disappoint. I loved finally hearing more from this character and it was definitely satisfying. And the rootcrafter community played such a bigger role in this book and I get teary eyed at just how much Bree will not let injustice happen no matter what!! She is going to find a way or burn a hole through a wall and make one herself. There's still some issues and conflicts that need to be resolved so can't wait to see that in the next book. Oathbound was Bree's emotional recharge and mental strengthening book after getting wrung out in book 1 and book 2. I have so many emotions about this book and it has left such an impression on me. Overall this was totally worth the 2 year wait and Tracy was COOKING in this book!! Her writing is so precise and so poetic at times. Uuuhh I've already been rereading scenes and chapters. I have a little over 300 highlights like this isn't a game to me actually. Like this story is so fun to me. I'm so excited to see how this series wraps up and I know Bree will always be in the best hands with Tracy and I trust her fully to tell the best finale!

Could not put it down. Wow! Bree goes on a true journey of growth throughout this book and I loved seeing her lose and find herself again throughout the novel. The odds seem impossible and the twists and turns had me hooked. I also loved the way that the side characters tied into the storyline and weren’t just props but rather each one influenced Bree in some form or fashion. And that cliffhanger?! Need book four TODAY!

I loved every single moment reading this book! What an amazing book in the Legendborn series. I loved Bree’s journey in this book. The book gets even better and I didn’t think that was possible after loving Legendborn and Bloodmarked so much. One of the things I adored a lot is that not only is Bree willing to fight for what is right, the people around her love and support her in doing the same. That love just made my heart full and made me so happy reading this story. Love love love it!

This series does the opposite of what you think it might do every time. It's just one surprise after another. My least favorite part about this series is leaving characters in plot holes, like Alice. Or Nick in the previous book. Good read.

Really enjoyed the character development and plot. I gasped so many times. I love how Tracy weaves in cultural issues Black women and girls experience.

WOW WOW WOW WOW!! That ENDING??? I screamed SO loud for about 10 mins. I am not okay. This book, to me, was amazing from start to finish. I appreciated the different viewpoints, I appreciated the additional world building, and I appreciated the relationships strengthening all across the board. My poor heart went through SO many emotions reading this book but I enjoyed every second. I love Bree so much and I just want her to have some peace 😭!!! To me, there was a lot of information & events happening throughout this book that I enjoyed. THAT ENDING??!!!???!!! Ms. Tracy, we need book 4 by the end of the year lol 😅.

This third installment of the series really does a good job at tying in connections that were made across the span of the 2 other books!! We got to see how other characters are affected/inspired by Bree's journey that it encourages them to face the things that scare or the things that they didn't know they were capable of. I am truly in awe of this beautiful journey that Tracy had taken us on and I can't wait to see what book 4 has in stored for us.

Não vou devolver porque a entrega já demorou muito. O livro é lindo, mas chegou com rasgos na jacket e em algumas das folhas.

“Bree is a child,” I insist. “She wasn’t raised for this war.” “No. She wasn’t,” he says, eyes turned inward and savoring. “But you truly haven’t lived until you’ve seen her fight it.” I want more. I need more! I loved getting multiple POV in this one, especially Anastasia. The first half of this book moved at a slow pace, but wow the back half of this book was everything, just wow.
