5 freaking stars!!! TRACY MY GOAT 🏆she went above and beyond with telling this story. The growth Bree experiences, the unique twists on tropes, the multiple perspectives!?!? Like I was eating GOOD!! No but really seeing Bree become more mature, more self assured, and just as stubborn was like watching my fictional little sister grow up right in front of my eyes. This Bree is so much stronger than Bree in Bloodmarked and she earns that on her own merit! You can truly see the deep love Tracy has for Bree. The multiple povs were so good. The way Tracy weaved them all together to not only push the story forward but show us what was happening in other areas of characters who were worried about Bree's safety and doing anything they could to find her. I had some hard sobs from some povs LOL but also I'm a big baby and I just love this found family sooo much. Like this is FAMILY!!! The romance was excellent!! Yearners!!! The world building and expansion was soooo good in this book and Bree being able to explore with 2 new characters was so great to see. And to see her hanging out with black teens close to her age!! Uh I loved that so much and their scenes were sooo entertaining. We got some povs from a character I've been so excited to hear from and it did not disappoint. I loved finally hearing more from this character and it was definitely satisfying. And the rootcrafter community played such a bigger role in this book and I get teary eyed at just how much Bree will not let injustice happen no matter what!! She is going to find a way or burn a hole through a wall and make one herself. There's still some issues and conflicts that need to be resolved so can't wait to see that in the next book. Oathbound was Bree's emotional recharge and mental strengthening book after getting wrung out in book 1 and book 2. I have so many emotions about this book and it has left such an impression on me. Overall this was totally worth the 2 year wait and Tracy was COOKING in this book!! Her writing is so precise and so poetic at times. Uuuhh I've already been rereading scenes and chapters. I have a little over 300 highlights like this isn't a game to me actually. Like this story is so fun to me. I'm so excited to see how this series wraps up and I know Bree will always be in the best hands with Tracy and I trust her fully to tell the best finale!

The way I consumed this book with a quickness… anyone who knows me knows I have never shut up about this series since I read book 1 back in 2022. Endless yapping. I didn’t know what to expect from Oathbound and even without concrete expectations, this book brew it all out of the water. Oh my god, what a book. I was stressed, I got teary eyes and even cried a few times, and did I mention that this book stressed me out? I was pleasantly surprised by two of the POVs included in this book, one of which I have been hoping for since Legendborn. I thoroughly enjoyed some of the new characters and reoccurring side characters. I loved seeing how Bree grows as a character despite some issues she’s forced to deal with at the start of the book. And finally but not least, I loved just how much Bree is loved by the characters that matter to her in this book, she is loved in such a way that it comes off in waves from the books and makes you, the reader, feel like you’re being wrapped in that blanket of care. I have no idea how the finale for the series will go. I’m honestly still trying to process everything that happened to the point where I kind of want to reread already. Mrs. Tracy really did her big one with this book and I can’t wait to see how she wraps it all up in book 4!

So it took me until the last 100 pages to realize this isn’t the last book in the series. I’m unhappy. This is excessively drawn out in my opinion. Hopefully I remember to read it when it comes out.

Ms. Deonn has done it again, except this third installment is as good as, if not better than the first (a rarity for both books and movies). Wow. I just finished and my heart is still pounding. I cannot wait for the next one!

I can not believe this book just ended this way! I seriously thought this was the final installment in this series. And now we have to wait how long for the next? So, considering that Selwyn is one of my fave characters, I'm thoroughly unhappy. There had better be some type of redemption here. And I do hope we haven't seen the last of Zoe and Jah. I'm still reeling from this absolutely insane cliffhanger of an ending. Need time.

Once again another excellent read. I can’t wait until the next installment! Tracy Deonn doesn’t disappoint. Make sure to read the series in order.

This series does the opposite of what you think it might do every time. It's just one surprise after another. My least favorite part about this series is leaving characters in plot holes, like Alice. Or Nick in the previous book. Good read.

I love this series so much! Tracy Deonn keeps finding ways to top herself! Not only does Bree continue to be a badass but in Oathbound we get to see how badass others can be! I love that we get some additional POV in this one! Tracy hooks you in and takes you on a thrill ride the entire time, dropping bombs until the very end!!! A need book four now! I loved checking back in with Bree and her friends and family as well as some new additions that I enjoyed a lot, loved Zoe!! I can’t lie darker Sel is also a delight! Can’t wait to see what in store for him! And Alice… my heart breaks for her! This series just gets better and better!

Delivery so fine! Book packed perfectly and not a scratch. Haven't read the book yet. What the minus 1 🌟 is about and it's minus 1 🌟 for the publisher, is that they changed the size of the book for paperback! It is bigger than the first two - WHY would they seriously ruin a collection like this! So stupid.

Het boek was snel binnen maar echt…waarom is dit 3e deel zoveel groter dan de 1e twee delen van de serie. Waarom doen uitgevers dit?

“Bree is a child,” I insist. “She wasn’t raised for this war.” “No. She wasn’t,” he says, eyes turned inward and savoring. “But you truly haven’t lived until you’ve seen her fight it.” I want more. I need more! I loved getting multiple POV in this one, especially Anastasia. The first half of this book moved at a slow pace, but wow the back half of this book was everything, just wow.

Excuse me? That ending? 🫠 this was a great addiction to the series! I really enjoyed it. I like the progression of all the plot threads. Book2 ends with Bree burning her power lines leaving her determined to master her power without influence from spirits. It’s extreme and her deciding to make a deal was so intense. Oathbound picks up right where we left off to show us what happens to Bree as well as the other characters in the wake of her leaving. It also does a decent job of showing us the progression of a few months and what everyone is up to without dragging it out. I loved see Bree finally get some control over her powers. I actually quite like the change of setting, really enjoyed getting to know some new characters and just the different focus of this book was interesting. It felt fresh and built on the last books whilst keeping me on my toes. The extra POVs added a lot and I liked seeing what the different groups were up to. Valec and Mariah and the rootcrafters are such a highlight and I’m glad we got more from them. I also found it interesting to see how they viewed Bree and her journey. I will say that I prefer Sel to Nick but considering how book2 ended this book obviously has more focus of Nick (not to mention that Bloodmarked was majority Sel so it makes sense this flipped back to Nick). That was the one area that I didn’t love as much but it also made sense considering where all the characters are at now and Nick was the right person for Bree to have during this time but still, I missed Sel. And what we did get of him was wild. I’m very intrigued to see how the last book will go. We have so much happening now (again, the ending?!) and so much to triumph over plus resolutions in relationships and people so I’m excited and nervous for the last book and hopeful it’ll deliver another epic high stakes, high emotion story when it comes out (finger crossed it doesn’t take too long 😫)
