First impressions- I love these! I previously had a different pair of wired, over-ear headphones from OneOdio that were my go-to (and one of their most popular sets), but listening to these two back-to-back I'd say the A70 definitely lives up to the price difference, and has to be my new favorite pair of headphones. Pros: - SOUND: Sound quality's awesome! Really clear audio with solid bass quality, and the noise suppression's pretty decent too (given the price range these are in). I thought there would be a sizeable decrease in quality from the wired vs bluetooth modes, but I actually found it pretty difficult to sense any difference. - COMFORT: Definitely a step up in comfort from my other set. The other one's ear pads had bulky, circular cushioning that gave me headaches if I wore them too long, whereas these have a smaller, flatter rectangular design that fits a lot better. The foam inside is also a little less dense so the compression isn't too harsh, with the foam across the band being more dense to offer greater support. - BUILD QUALITY: I'd say these are impressively well made for the price they're listed as. I've had a number of headphones that I could tell felt cheap from the moment I picked them up, but these feel really solid! My last set, despite being decent quality compared to a lot of other budget headphones out there, still had some problems with them that made them feel a bit clunky (ear cups had full rotation which felt flimsy, you could hear plastic creaking when moving around). This pair however feels very well put together, with the ear cups having a fixed limit for rotation, and no excess noise coming from the plastic. Cons/Critiques: - NOISE LEAK: I've seen this come up for other reviewers, and I will note that there is a bit of sound leakage. I don't think this is too big of an issue however, since you do have to turn up your volume to a bit of a high level for anything that comes out to be really noticeable (though this will vary depending on what kind of environment you're in). If you're gonna be using these in noisy public spaces or just on your own at home, then I wouldn't say it's anything to worry about. - BUTTONS: Bit of a nitpick, but the buttons are pretty noisy and do feel a bit cheap compared to the rest of the design. Interestingly enough, the power button makes significantly less noise and feels better built-in than the volume buttons. I think this was to make a better distinction between the three when the headset is worn, though I do wish they had all been built in a way that felt a little better. - EAR PADS: Now, this is a *very minor* issue to me personally, but the ear pads compressing do make a bit of a rubbery creaking sound that you can hear fairly loudly when you grab them with the headset on. I'm pretty sensitive to noise so this is just a little thing I noticed- I do think it can be ignored just fine since you'll only hear it when taking them off, but I figured I'd mention it since I wrote about the excess noise previously. * IF YOU'RE GOING TO BUY THESE: Not a critique, but I'm going to mention it since I didn't see it brought up on the user manual- the cable itself has a sort of locking mechanism where it connects to the headphones (this is the first time I'm seeing it, but it might be used with other brands as well). There's a piece attached to the connector that slips into the matching shape of the port, very similar to a key. From there, it can be turned left to offset the alignment of the piece inside, keeping the cord from being pulled out. By turning it fully right until it stops, the piece lines up with the shape of the port again and you can remove the cable. Just thought I'd point this out since it took me a minute to realize how it worked, and I scratched up the port a good bit in the process :') Overall, real good stuff! Highly recommend for anyone wanting to find a solid pair of headphones without spending a fortune

Overall a quality product, one that delivered despite my skepticism. The Build - - - - The fit is comfortable, even for long-term use (and I wear glasses). The build is classic OneOdio, plastic, light, durable (well, I'm assuming so based on my other OneOdio purchase). I love the padding on them, very soft. I have a fro (flattop), and they adjust well to the height of my hair. The Sound - - - - Here's where I expected lack of quality, however was extremely pleased. My purpose for purchasing headphones was to find a pair that I could mix (and terribly master) "hip-hop" style music with. The highs and midsection are very crisp and clean and sit just right in the mix. The left and right pans are accurate and give a good representation of the soundscape. The bass was my main concern, but it's clean and delivered well. It feels bass-heavy, but it doesn't take away from the overall mix and is a small mental adjustment when mixing tracks. It's responsive throughout the whole bass spectrum, providing accurate tones for proper mix (and tuning) analyisis. Wired vs Bluetooth - - - - The sound quality does change when going from wired to Bluetooth. The wired sound is crisp, clean, and accurate. The Bluetooth delivers the same quality but you will get a bit of fizzle/static from the high-end, especially when increasing volume. Battery Life - - - - Has a long battery life when switching between Bluetooth and wired, I haven't charged them yet and I've owned the for almost three weeks at the time of writing this. In my experience, OneOdio's can be driven for two-three days with continued use. In Conclusion - - - - I love my new headphones, I am impressed with the sound quality, and have already had many successful mixes come from using these. Even as an audiophile, I recommend these for those looking for quality sound at an affordable price. You won’t be disappointed unless you want to be. And if you don't take the price into account.

I got these especially for listening wireless to podcasts & MP3 files in bed without the bother of unplugging my laptop and balancing it on my knees. They are perfect for the purpose, and I can walk around my small apartment without missing a word. The procedure to pair them with the laptop or phone took me a while to get correct, but that's mostly because I've never had a compatible Bluetooth device before. I was able to connect the phones simultaneously to my laptop and my phone. The sound is warm and full-ranged, a little bass-heavy. The low bass is very powerful, performing below the rated 20 Hz bottom; organ music goes down to 16 Hz, and these phones delivered, rattling my teeth and even vibrating my chest a little! The treble is adequate; I wasn't able to fully test it, as my laptop has limitations. In Bluetooth mode, my equalizer is bypassed, so I haven't tested wireless frequency range. However, the wireless sound is rich and clear with speech, which was the purpose for which I bought the phones. Music of various genres sounds great, especially wired where I can tweak the equalizer profile. The attached image is the manufacturer's frequency response graph from the manual. It shows the bass emphasis I've mentioned. I am concerned by the >10dB peak around 7-8 kHz. I suffered significant hearing loss in 8 hours with a previous set of phones (Sennheiser), that had a similar peak, paired with a treble-heavy keyboard. As with any headphones, listen at moderate levels! The phones feel sturdy, with studio style swivelling ear pieces. They are surprisingly light and comfortable; I have worn them for almost 24 hours with only short breaks, for days in a row, and they are so unnoticeable that I have actually walked out of my apartment without realizing I was still wearing them! I have even slept in them. The ear pads are very soft, and provide adequate external noise reduction (but not cancellation). Overall, I am more than satisfied, in fact very pleased with the A70. I am not a sound professional, but I would say they compare very favourably with phones costing two or three times as much.
