The OneOdio A71 Hi-Res Studio Recording Headphones are designed for professionals and music enthusiasts seeking an affordable yet effective audio solution for studio work, recording, mixing, and everyday listening. These over-ear headphones stand out for their combination of functionality, comfort, and sound quality at a price point that is accessible to a broad audience. 1. Hi-Res Audio Certification: One of the standout features of the A71 is its Hi-Res audio certification. Hi-Res audio ensures a wider range of sound frequencies, meaning you hear more detail and accuracy in music tracks, especially high-resolution audio files like FLAC or DSD. This feature is ideal for those working in studios where high-fidelity sound is crucial for mixing and mastering. 2. 50mm Neodymium Drivers: The headphones are equipped with large 50mm drivers that deliver powerful bass, crisp mids, and well-defined highs. For recording professionals, these drivers provide a balanced sound profile that allows clear identification of different instrument layers in a track, making them suitable for both music creation and enjoyment. 3. Comfort and Build Quality: The OneOdio A71 is designed with long listening or working sessions in mind. The over-ear design helps to isolate external noise, enhancing focus during work or immersion in music. The ear cups are padded with memory foam, and the headband is adjustable and lightly padded for comfort. Despite their large size, the headphones remain relatively lightweight, reducing strain during extended use. 4. Detachable Dual Cables: A notable feature is the dual-port design, which allows the use of either a standard 3.5mm cable or a larger 6.35mm audio jack. The headphones come with both types of detachable cables, making them versatile enough to connect to various devices—whether it’s a smartphone, audio interface, mixing console, or guitar amp. Additionally, the cable can stretch, which adds convenience and mobility during recording or editing sessions. 5. Foldable and Portable Design: The A71 headphones are foldable, which makes them more portable and easy to carry, especially for on-the-go musicians or producers. This feature, combined with the rotating ear cups, makes the headphones suitable for both studio and DJ use. 6. Noise Isolation: While the OneOdio A71 headphones are not marketed as noise-canceling, the over-ear design and well-padded ear cups offer a good level of passive noise isolation. This makes them a decent choice for semi-professional studio environments or public spaces where eliminating outside noise is beneficial. 7. Sound Leakage and Isolation: For home studio use, these headphones offer excellent sound leakage control. The design prevents most sound from escaping, ensuring minimal disturbance to others when working in shared spaces. Sound Quality: 1. Bass: The A71 delivers a powerful bass response, which is ideal for genres like EDM, hip-hop, or any bass-heavy music. However, for some audiophiles, the bass might feel a bit exaggerated, potentially overpowering the mids and highs. For studio use, this could necessitate some EQ adjustments, but for casual listening, many will appreciate the fuller low-end. 2. Mids and Highs: The mid-range is clear and detailed, making these headphones suitable for mixing tasks where vocal clarity is essential. However, the highs can occasionally sound a bit recessed, which may require adjustment in post-production or equalizer settings depending on personal preference. For critical listening, this might affect certain audio details. 3. Soundstage and Imaging: The soundstage, though not expansive, offers a decent level of separation between instruments and vocals. It’s accurate enough for tracking individual components within a mix, though it lacks the depth found in higher-end studio headphones. Comfort and Usability: The OneOdio A71 is comfortable for extended sessions, thanks to its plush ear pads and adjustable headband. The memory foam padding molds to your ears, providing a snug fit without too much clamping force. This design is especially important for people working long hours in a studio setting or gaming for extended periods. Despite the bulk of over-ear headphones, the A71’s weight distribution is well-balanced, avoiding pressure points on the top of the head or around the ears. Additionally, the foldable design adds convenience for professionals on the go. Durability and Build: The build quality of the A71 is impressive, especially considering the price point. The materials feel durable, with the plastic and metal components combining for a sturdy frame that can withstand regular usage. The detachable cables also prevent the issue of broken cords, which is a common problem in many fixed-cable headphones. While the headband may not be as robust as high-end models, it’s solid enough for moderate professional use. Connectivity: A significant selling point of the A71 is its versatility in connectivity. It features both 3.5mm and 6.35mm inputs, which allow users to connect the headphones to a variety of devices—from smartphones to professional audio equipment. The detachable cables also have a coiled section that extends, making it easier to move around without having to unplug or move devices. Pros: ** Hi-Res Audio certification with clear, detailed sound. ** Strong bass presence for casual listeners and bass-heavy music. ** Comfortable for extended wear with memory foam ear cups. ** Dual-port and detachable cable design for versatile connectivity. ** Excellent sound isolation for a non-noise-canceling pair. ** Affordable price, offering great value for its feature set. Cons: ** Bass-heavy sound signature may not appeal to all, especially for critical studio work. ** Highs can sound recessed, requiring some EQ adjustment for certain tracks. ** Build quality, while decent, may not match premium studio-grade headphones. ** Lack of active noise cancellation could be a drawback in noisier environments. Who Should Buy These? The OneOdio A71 Hi-Res Studio Recording Headphones are perfect for those seeking a budget-friendly option for recording, mixing, or general listening. These headphones excel in environments where detailed sound reproduction is key, though bass enthusiasts will also find them satisfying for casual listening. If you're looking for studio-quality headphones but aren't ready to invest in high-end models, the A71 offers a solid middle ground. It’s an excellent choice for home studios, podcasters, DJs, and casual listeners who want decent sound quality without breaking the bank. Conclusion: The OneOdio A71 headphones punch above their price point, delivering high-resolution sound, comfort, and versatility. They may not compete with the most premium studio headphones, but for their price, they offer significant value and functionality. Whether you’re a budding musician, content creator, or casual listener, the A71 is a well-rounded option that brings excellent features to the table.

Disclaimer: My rating system: EVERYTHING starts at a 5, and goes from there. I thoroughly read the descriptions and if I don't like the description, I simply don't order the item. If the product shows up as advertised they get a 5. If there are unadvertised flaws, they are duly noted and stars removed accordingly.... that being said: These headphones are great. They get 5 stars. I intentionally opted for the 'used - like new' option. They came in their original packaging, and as an audiophile, I was looking for a comfortable pair of headphones. I really like that these can be daisy-chained so you can share your audio files with a friend. They come with a 1/8" to 1/4" plug cable, and a 1/8" to 1/8" plug cable. I liked these so well, I ended up buying another identical set for my partner so we can listen to our meditations together and take advantage of the binaural beats in our meditations. These have a nice sound quality and are a great price! I will buy more if needed.

These "Fusion A71" headphones are the most comfortable with the best sound out of the three I tried. I also tried the "OneOdio Studio Hi-Fi" and they have great sound but they are too darn tight on my head. They squeeze in on the sides of my head and put too much pressure on it. I would probably get a headache after 5 minutes of having these on. I also ordered the "OneOdio Studio Pro 10" headphones and they were not true "over-the- ear" headphones. They were actually "on-ear" and there is no way that they would have fit over the ear unless I balled my ear up. Go with the "Fusion A71" if you want a true "over-ear" headphone that is comfortable and has great sound.

I'm by no means an audiophile expert, however, I can generally tell if the the quality of the music reproduction is good - probably most can. I mix music + play instruments, so my general opinion is based on personal experience. I recently bought a Hiby R4 DAP and noticed the amazing sound wasn't coming through the Sony BT headphones. Why? Because of Bluetooth limitations. I started exploring my wired headphones and noticed a slight improvement but none could handle bass - lots of distortion. The 3.5 plugin on my Sony BT headphones is not working, so that option is a no-go. After looking online at about 30 headphones from $30 to $330, I decided to try the OneOdio A71s. Really because one of the reviews on this site commented that the headphones could handle his Bass playing while others could not. He's right. Overall these are a good value at $30-$35. The bass is perfect (for me); however, I have tweaked the R4 with optional plugins to improve the sound- I believe they refer to this as the "Soundstage." :). In addition, the mids and highs are decent - my extent of an Audiophile comment. I'm sure these do not compare to the more expensive headphones with regards to audio quality, build, etc. (or do they?). In my opinion, I feel they are worth a try. Perhaps down the road, I'll upgrade to one of those $250+ headphones, but for now, this works well for me. I'm listening to music with them now as I write this, and I'm floored by the clarity, bass, etc. Time will tell if they hold up. I generally take care of my equipment better than others and I know how to fix electronics. My concern is the headphone speakers' longevity- I'm basing this on the price paid (you never know). They do fit a little tight, but they may relax over time. My Sony's were the same. I would say order them, try them, and if they do not please then you know what to do.

I bought the OneOdio A71 mostly for casual use and some light audio editing, and honestly, I wasn’t expecting much at this price but I’ve been really impressed. Sound Quality: The audio is surprisingly rich. The bass is punchy without being overwhelming, and the mids and highs are nice and clear. Vocals come through clean, and they hold up well for both music and video editing. I’ve also used them for watching shows and Zoom calls—no complaints. If you're used to high-end studio gear, you might find the sound a bit colored, but for most people, they’re more than good enough. Comfort: They’re pretty comfortable, even for long sessions. The ear cushions are soft and fully cover your ears, so there’s no awkward pressure. I did notice the top headband can feel a bit tight after a few hours, but nothing unbearable. They also swivel, which is super handy if you’re monitoring or just want to rest one ear. Build & Design: They feel durable, though the plastic frame does remind you that these aren’t $200 headphones. Still, they’re not flimsy. The matte black finish looks sleek, and I like that they don’t scream "cheap." The included cables (yes, plural!) are a nice touch—especially the one with a 1/4" plug for plugging into amps or mixers without needing an adapter.
